Our first time to LA, from Kentucky. We stayed in a hotel just down the street and stumbled in. The food is fantastic, the menu has something for everyone, the atmosphere is perfect on a rainy LA evening, and the staff is super friendly. I recommend it for anyone who loves Tex-Mex in a great atmosphere. Did I mention the prices of the food? Too Cheap.

What a great place!! Had an early morning appointment nearby & stopped for breakfast because of the great reviews!! It did not disappoint! Excellent service from the staff & the Manager was friendly! Their menu is huge! We had chicken fried steak and eggs chicken cordon bleu. Both were excellent! We especially liked that our English muffins came to the table with whipped butter and jam & each table has their own toaster so you can ensure they are hot and just right? Great atmosphere & very clean!

No mimosa because they let their liquor license expire and they make you toast your own bread if you sit inside but NOT if you sit outside??? How does that make sense?

Ok, so i met a friend here yesterday and we sat for a half hr on the patio. I did not want anything to eat I wanted dessert but did not see anything i wanted. My friend got a bottled water. Mind you he is new to the country and was getting himself aquainted to the town. We paid the bill and leftToday we decided to go back and get coffee and dessert with two othee people. Mind you the restaurant was EMPTY! I walked to the back and sat down. Thw waitesss approached us rudly and asked if we were ordering food amd i said no. She did not give me a chance to wven ask about dessert. She then rudly said... you were here yesterday and did not order and you are here again today. This is a restaurant not starbucks! You need to order food!. I then asked for coffee and my friend asked for tea. Her tea came my coffee didnt so I did not say anything. I am so upset really ipset. I've been coming to this place for many many many years and have spent at least $80 each time and left hefty tips. There There was no sign that said you can't just have coffee.There was no sign that said you had a table minimum.There was no sign that said anything of that nature, if that was the case, I would have just given her some cash to shut her up. I don't believe the way we were treated period she never came back to ask about the coffee she never came back to give her refill of hot water and this rudely just dismissed us. If the restaurant was full, I would have completely understood, but the place was empty completely completely completely empty.Completely empty there was hardly anybody in there. It wasn't like there was a line of people wanting to go and sit. She just wanted to be rude. I hadn't been there in a couple of years, because the last time I was there was with a friend that we used to go every night and my friend passed away and I could not bring myself to go. So I pushed myself yesterday to go and then this is how I got treated. I will not go back to this restaurant.. Done done done done.
