I’m giving the service 1 star because of what happened today granted we also were at fault but we felt taken advantage of. We came in to order food but also to ask how much a tray would be as we are mourning the death of a family member. After giving us options on some sandwiches and get recommendations we agree to a tray because we had family waiting and also there was a lot people it was very rushed. I asked please tell me what the order amount will be before they start making them I asked her twice and I feel at this point she just took advantage of the fact that we needed them to go And she said I’ll let you know after I’m done. In my mind I said it shouldn’t be a lot (which was where we made a mistake) we sat down to eat two sandwiches while we waited since we hadn’t had anything to eat in two days while we were in the hospital. When they ring us up she said it was $240 dollars. We kind of were in shock and minus the what we ate was $180. I then told her this is why you let someone know how much the total is before something is made had we known It was gonna cost us $180 we would have declined and went somewhere else. My mom had difficulties then with the card we were given from a family member to pay and so we said I needed to go back and get my own card to get money transferred but that we’d pay for the two sandwiches and two sodas we already ate. They looked at us like and rolled their eyes and told we had to leave a card behind and when we paid we’d get it back. Ridiculous and we will not be coming back. We ended getting my card and paying after and taking the sandwiches of course. The fact that one they were upset that we didn’t know the price after we asked twice! And then are in shock that we didn’t want the sandwiches , we just had someone die and we are paying for a funeral $180 would have been out of the question if we would have been told that from the start. A lesson learned from us as well and will not be coming back here at all.

Exactly what you would expect from a neighborhood authentic Italian Deli! Fresh meats and Italian groceries, delicious sandwiches! Thank you Mario's!

If you're looking for a great and filling sandwich this place has so much to choose from: The Chicken Parm sandwich is great, the Meatball sub is quality as well, and the Bad Boys is tasty and filling. Prices have slowly creaped up with time but it is what it is. They also have great pastas (hot and cold) to choose from. However, avoid the Pizza -- its taste like cardboard. Limited seating inside and outside along the side street.

Unless you're going to order online there's no need to wait 1 hour to get your order taken and another 20 mintues for them to prepare your sandwich. The sandwich wasn't stand out either, nothing special about it. I reckon most people come here for the nostalgic feel because the sandwich my girlfriend and I had was average at best. Too many items on the menu (which this place has) usually means that they're not good at making any one particular item

We love stopping here when we're in town. Great Italian deli with imported market items you can't find anywhere else.

The place is so cool. Old style deli with every kind of sandwich imaginable. And the size of those things - like and Italian grandma designed it to stuff you for a week.
Just plain awesome, just plain delicious. And did I mention really nice staff....
Solid, can't miss.

Place is bad now. It used to be good years ago; however, the quality of the food (especially the subs) has declined tremendously. The staff is rude too. Not coming back.

Finally tried their famous subs... disappointed. Went with their regular ham sub, which I could have easily made at home. They stack a 3rd piece of bread in-between. Why? Never again... not to mention they don't offer any type of discounts for anything! Except for the city workers of "GLENDALE" only. Really??? The workers and Mario are awesome, but the subs gotta be better.

Tried this place for the first time. Soooooo over priced. One regular turkey nothing else added was $13.95. Drink and chips came to $19. Sandwich was mediocre at best and they put a third piece of bread between the meat which makes no sense all I could taste was bread so I removed it. The service was slightly rude as well. I wouldn't recommend.

The pizza is fire! It is so good, the crispy crust and real mozzarella cheese is a great mix. They even sell it by the slice! The sandwiches are great as well! They have catering with different sandwich options and salads.
Parking: Parking is in the back of the building.
