We went there in January they took a picture of us showing we didn’t pay we felt very sad because we never left a place without paying I always double check with Kim when she add the tip anytime we go there more than 10 years and this never happens we had to pay double check. Please to the OWNER Check your waiter it the guy who clean table is taking your MONEY FOR SURE . Keep an eye on cameras and check please your food it’s amazing but shady people there is very scary what they do to solve their personal issues with your money ?.

Cool vibe and good food, just it gets busy so the service lags a bit.

I came here for dinner with a craving for Filipino food and I was not disappointed. Max's fried chicken is just wonderful if you like well-seasoned fried chicken with skin that is crispy, but not heavily battered then you are in luck. The lechon sisig was very tasty and with some lemon on top and with some garlic rice, it is a flavor bomb in your mouth. The mango or calamansi juice is a great drink to wash down all of the heavier dishes too. The pinakbet definitely used some shrimp paste to give it a richer flavor. They do put bitter melon in the pinakbet so be aware of that. Service was friendly, no rush and I was seated quickly. The food also came out pretty quickly and was appropriately hot. If I'm in the area or a Max's is nearby I would come back.

Too expensive. Chicken shrunk in size. Portions are smaller for the price. They used to have combo meals but no longer.

The flavor of the food is still excellent. The value has gone down. Not only have their prices increased, but their portions have also gotten smaller. It should only be one or the other. The last few times I’ve come here, it seems they’re under staffed. I still hate that their parking is valet only for such a small lot. There are other Filipino restaurants in Glendale, so don’t limit yourself to here.Parking: Easier to park at the mall across the street

Came here on a referral from a friend. We came in a group, were seated and honestly. The customer service at the counter was great! But when we got to our table the waiters were not so great. They seemed to be annoyed helping us. Anyways on to the food. I was told their fried chicken was the star of their menu. Not! No flavor and blah. Tried all of the other dishes and meh. I drove all the way from Carson to eat at a place that was disappointing. I would have let the bad service at the table pass if the food was good but it wasn't. Don't waste your time.

Everytime we go to Max, we feel that we are treated always as special customer. We plan all family occasions in Max. Necita, our host, always serve our food in no time and a big smile. We like her and always look for her to be our server host. Everyone in the cashier are always very attentive to our phone orders as well. Max Glendale is the best place to eat, even to non Filipinos. I always recommend Max to all our American and Latino friends and i always get excellent comments, server, food and atmosphere. All kinds of food esp our halo halo.Mabuhay tayong lahat!
