My wife and i go there religiously. Spicy pork and tofu soup (soondooboo) are incredible. Always consistent with quality, and taste. We think Miso is one of the best value korean restaurant in the area. Service has always been great.

The food is super delicious. Family owned, and just like every other place right now, not enough servers/cooks to keep up. Just be patient!! It's worth it and they are working so hard!

First time here and the dishes we ordered were delicious! Mool naengmyun and bibim naengmyun with bul-gogi. (Cold noodles with broth, cold, spicy noodles and marinated beef). Korean restaurant choices in the La Crescenta, La Cañada, Tujunga and Montrose are just got a killer spot to check out. Looking forward to exploring more of their menu items in the future. Check the business hours. They close after lunch service and reopen for dinner. Parking is very tight.

What a terrific hidden treasure of a family owned restaurant with such a hard working crew! Having patience here will pay off as they are hustling and bustling the best they can with the constant flow of new guests arriving. My hubby and I were so impressed with our tofu bowls and delicious & owner refilling our bonchon - scrumptious littles that pack such fantastic punch of flavors. Cannot wait to be a regular here & who knew this charming Korean gem existed in sleepy La Crescenta! Absolutely worthy of many repeat visits & I'll see you there!

Great alternative to BCD! The soup here is thicker so it's more flavorful. My friend and I always get the small intestine tofu soup here - definitely recommend if you like small intestines. Service can be pretty slow but friendly staff!

The owner of the restaurant is very friendly, the food is delicious, and they always pay attention to the customers. If any side dishes are running low, the owner immediately adds more.

Overall impression dining area is fairly small. And they use the front tables as a workstation, which is a bit unappealing since that's the 1st thing you notice when you walk in.The dinning area was fairly packed and we got seated right away in that last booth they had. Food price is a bit higher than what you would expect at a casual Asian restaurant.I ordered the beef short rib soup. Portion size was decent, but there were barely any noodles in it. I was still hungry after eating it. The beef pieces were very tasty and tender, but there wasn't any other substantial veggies or noodles in it. Mainly just broth, garnish and like maybe 1 full mouthful of noodles. I kept digging to try to find more noodles. If they added 3x the noodles, the dish would of been a 10.My friend really enjoyed his spicy pork stir fry dish and the portion was a nice side and it came with a tasty salad. I tasted and it was good and thr pork was definitely spicy.Very tasty food and great service. We ordered 2 cans of soda and those 2 dishes and with a 20% tip the bill was $60.I would definitely go back.

Miso, the Korean tofu bbq house in La Cañada, is an absolute must-visit every time I'm in town. With their incredible dumpling tofu soup and generous portions of Galbi, this place never fails to satisfy my cravings for authentic Korean cuisine. I can't resist ordering the combination meal every time I dine here - it's simply irresistible! My wife, on the other hand, is a huge fan of their Korean cold noodle soup, which she swears by and orders without fail. The flavors are perfectly balanced and, just like the rest of the menu, the dish is crafted with care and expertise. Miso is undoubtedly deserving of a 5/5 star rating. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by - your taste buds will thank you!

This family restaurant is so amazing. The food is great, the service is amazing, and most important thing is that this restaurant does all my favorite Korean dishes, and well. And I haven’t mentioned about their incredibly reasonable pricing and being super family friendly.

My go-to Korean restaurant was closed and we were bummed. But then we found Miso Tofu BBQ. We used to come here when it was called "Tofu Village" and then it closed and became a chicken joint or something. So it's been years since we've come back. And it's so damn good!It is now my favorite Korean restaurant in the Glendale/LaCresenta area!!!We usually order the usual: sundubu, galbi, etc. But decided to try the grilled mackerel and it was delish! The next day... I was craving it all again!!!

First time going to this restaurant on a raining ? day. Was worth the trip. Food was very delicious. Fresh and tasty!! My daughter wanted us to order another plate of fried dumplings. She really love it. Plus I share my teriyaki chicken with purple rice. My favorite was the spicy pickles or cucumber. We will be back again.

Miso is amazing! From the servicing to the food! It's delicious! We ordered three different plates! Everything was good! The service was great! Always attentive and they had great suggestions! The staff here has great manners and respects it's patrons! The weather was crazy and cold, it was raining! It was a nice relief to shelter from the storm is this lovely abode. Miso had been open for a while. We have been patrons from an earlier sister restaurant: Choi ga nei. The Doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste soup) at Choi ga nei, was brilliant and the best I'd ever have. For me to come to Miso now? Years later, to have all my dreams come true with this deliciously made old school mom and pop eatery Doenjang-jjigae? Well! I have found my Doenjang-jjigae heavenly nirvana! Run, don't walk! Order the Doenjang-jjigae! It's, to die for.
