“Granite Bay Brewing is a nice little brewery in Granite Bay. They have about 15 brews on tap with a little bit of everything. They do not have a kitchen, but they do get a few truck for their patrons to buy food from. I have experienced this on the weekends with a variety of different vendors. Mexican, grilled cheese and bbq. The ambiance is chill, and it is really cute at night with their lights hanging above. The staff is always friendly and their establishment is clean. It is nice to have a brewery right in Granite bay. If you have a day on the trails, you should definitely stop by and check them out!”
“Ambience & feel is nice. Food taste is also good. Recommend starters - sweet & sour cauliflower, veg pakoda were the highlight. Main dish- Roji roti, butter garlic Naan, palak paneer, dal tadka, were tasty. You have the option to adjust spicy as per your taste. Aaloo gobhi was ok types.Didn't like Vegetable Biriyani though.”
“The carnitas burrito and plate are amazing. I'm one of those people who value great refried beans...these were well seasoned and cooked in chicken stock. Great service rounded out our amazing visit.”
“Mount Saint Joseph Wine, Granite Bay, CA, January 27, 2024 My wife and I arrived at about 4:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon to listen to our good friend Randy Carey play music. We grabbed a seat at the bar and we're given waters and menus. Our server's name was John and he took great care of us. They have a nice selection of wines ranging from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc on the white side to Pinot Noir, Mouvedra, and Cabernet Sauvignon on the red side. Bottle prices ranged from about $25 - $50. They don't do individual tastings on music nights; however, they were pretty generous with us and let us try a few of the different wines before we decided to get a bottle of Pinot Noir. Actually, everything we tried was delicious. They also have some light bites. We decided to get a charcuterie board that came with lots of great meats, cheeses, crackers, fruit, and nuts on it. This is a cozy place and the overall vibe was very enjoyable and inviting. We'll come back!”
“Great Sandwiches on the deli side. Great food on the restaurant side. Attentive service on a pretty busy night. I'll definitely go back again. The best Italian restaurant in Placer county.”
“Wow!! What an unexpected pleasure to have found this wonderful dim sum restaurant on a drive through the area. The food is made from scratch and just delicious. The chili oil is the best I've ever had - stir the paste and the oil to create a perfect, slightly crunchy texture - and spoon it over everything! The service was prompt and pleasant. We loved the family atmosphere and the pleasant conversation between tables of patrons. It's not a big spot, but we walked in easily on this Saturday afternoon. Do yourself a favor and check it out!”
“We found this restaurant while on a long trip. The weather was very rainy, but the restaurant and staff were warm and friendly. The food was tasty and had good portions. We left very full, and would definitely return if we pass through again.”
“One of my favorite places to go for Mexican food. I've never ordered anything that was bad everything is excellent. Our waitress is super friendly and attentive. Patio seating is available so you can bring your dog. I highly recommend this place.”
“Adorable little spot and the service was exceptional. I haven't tried tea much and they went out of their way to help my friend and I decide what we would like and even let us sample before we bought. Plus, my tea was DELICIOUS! I'll definitely be back.”
“We ordered “to go” and the host was very helpful with choices The pho was the best ever! Also the portions are generous. It was nice to have multiple Asian choices. We’ll go back for sure.”

“The food is healthy and absolutely delicious! We had the chicken Tikki Marsala and vegetarian burrito bowl. We also got the garlic Naan and potatoe cakes as appetizers. The flavors of each dish were wonderful! Also the server, "Pria" was so warm and kind and helpful.”
“We cater quite frequently at work and this is our only go to once a month option. Food is always great, service is amazing and everyone loves when we choose this for our meal. We will continue to use him for as long as we can. I also get the badmash burger which is fire best burger ever.”
“My third or fourth visit to Hawks. I've never been disappointed, and tonight was a memorable experience. Party of four for early dinner. The mushroom soup amuse bouche was wonderful. White Fog Farm lettuce salad was (reportedly) excellent. The Caesar salad was tasty but the creamy dressing revealed it as an imitation Caesar (in my opinion); the saving grace was the white anchovy on top. (I am a Caesar salad purist and I am frequently unimpressed; woe is me.). Entrées: Duck--excellent! Short ribs--excellent! Steelhead--excellent! Lamb loin--excellent and more! Wine: Fair--a Tuscan red, good but overpriced for the quality. Dessert: We have had the "beignets" before--these are tasty enough but they are NOT in any sense beignets--just sugary doughnut holes with caramel sauce on the side. What they called an entremet might, in a pinch, be considered a "deconstructed" entremet--but an entremet it was not. The parts were, however, very good, if little more than a small mound of fond chocolate with cocoa nibs and a bit of white filling. We were very pleased with the unexpected serving of two extra dessert items, quartets of little chocolate dollops on shortbread and Sangria-infused gel cubes--very playful and delightful. Decent late-bottled vintage port and good tea and coffee. The service was spot on--absolutely top-notch. We were VERY pleased with service and atmosphere. Despite the scattered culinary contradictions, I say : Go to Hawks--time well spent.”
