Ono was great! Well kept & clean restaurant, decent prices, friendly staff, and delicious food. I ordered the misubi and young coconut....man was I surprised when it really was a young coconut! The cooks were working so hard and fast too! Very impressed over all!
Ono is my go to place to when I crave chicken katsu. The Chicken katsu here is seasoned and deep-fried to perfection. It's crispy and golden brown. Paired with tangy katsu sauce and accompanied by rice, macaroni salad and steamed cabbage. What I really love is the consistent crunch, it makes my taste buds happy. Excellent to all workers! I only came here because I was very hungry and it was close. Normally I would pick anybody just about, besides Ono Hawaiian. I've been to 3 others- Fremont hub, Decoto Rd and one other I can't remember. None of them had this great service quality or good food. Whipple Rd store, you do it right!!
