“This time I ordered 2 taco combo with salad instead of rice and beans. The chips were ok. We got avacado dip and salsa with chips. I asked waitress what was my tacos were cooked in- because it had a great taste. she didn't have an answer. The shredded beef and hamburger fillings were tasty. Although the salad only had lettuce and some cabbage it would have been nice to have tomato included. Good size serving. Our dinners came with complimentary rice pudding. The pudding did have as fresh a flavor, as last time. Waitress service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry. Music inside was low and very calming.“

“Very welcoming and clean , their French fries are nice fresh and crisp and you get a hefty serving. Their carne asada tacos are delicious and a big sum of meat on them ! Their Tamarindo margarita is sweet and sour really enjoyed it. The rice and beans are just right. The family loved it the whole atmosphere. The Califas burrito was a big hit specially with those fresh fries! and so were Auguachiles spicy and fresh, the Huarache was topped with just the right amount of meat ans veggies , Their salsa bar has so many too choose from and their tap soda was hit with the kids. They have alot on the menu, definitely will keep coming back to try it all! The music is great. It is definitely a nice place for date or family outing.“

“Ordered the fish and shrimp taco. Delicious! Tortillas tasted handmade and not store bought you can immediately taste the difference. My boyfriend got the california burrito and said it was perfect. I've never had grilled carrots on a taco before but tasted really good. The sauce I believe is Santa fe and has a nice kick in it without being too spicy. Awesome little hole in the wall spot!“

“My son and I LOVED this place! We ordered ground beef tacos and chicken enchiladas. Beans and rice came with the meal. The food was delicious. Our waitress was Corinne, she was the best! She brought us a couple of homemade tortillas right off the grill! She added an extra touch and brought us some butter for our tortillas! ? Sorry no picture available. my mouth was watering and I ate the tortillas quickly!!! The atmosphere was delightful. We loved everything about it!“
“Today for lunch my wife and I ate here for the first time and we both enjoyed it very much. Our server, Letticia, did an excellent job and was very nice. The food was excellent. We both had combination plates so we could experience some variety. My combination plate consisted of a beef taco, Chile relleno and a cheese enchilada. We shared a Margarita which was very good. The atmosphere is nice there and it's very clean. The booth we sat in was quite comfortable. We thought the prices were quite reasonable. We plan on returning and I highly recommend El Zarape Mexican Restaurant!“
“After running some errands I decided to try Las Morelianas a try. After making up my mind I ordered a Chicken Burrito with salsa and onions expecting it to be ok. However the seasoned chicken was tasty and impressed my palate . On a side note I will calm down on the hot sauce "very hot". Burrito was $12 and filled me up alright. The cook and cashier were very friendly. Overall I am impressed with this little hole in the wall spot and recommend the.“

We ordered the quesobirria and a carne asada taco. Omg one of the best queso birria tacos I've had. So good that I had to order another one. The staff was super friendly as well. “This was the place my parents liked to take us growing up. Before us, they had come here even longer. My mother passed away recently so Casa Jimenez was nice enough to let us rent out the restaurant in her honor. It was great, the food was great and the service was great. “Not gonna lie...the Birria here is off the chain and slaps like ?. Truthfully, and why I took this pic, the amount of carne given in ratio to the jugo is kind of a money burning trick. Family of 4 that we are, we barely got any birria between us and I needed to see why. After taking all the meat out, weighing each serving (barely 2-3oz of carne split evenly) this is why I realized the issue. 3/4 of the container was nothing but caldo AND THIS IS THE 32oz CUP!.... Some people may like it or prefer it with that much juice but for the amount of money it costs....that was kind of a dirty trick and hopefully a one-time error. Money is tight for everyone and you hope that when you decide to splurge and reward yourselves with a rare occasion for take-out, you want to pick a place that will feed your little family with enough...if not to fill their tummies...but to satisfy. This day and order was disappointing and hurtful because I had to still give my kids cereal afterwards and the birria was supposed to be dinner. Again...the food and flavor was beautiful. No complaints. The amount given from purchase was cruel and leaves a bad taste in your mouth for a place you normally love. Maybe asking for less caldo might be the best way to see what you're getting if you decide to try it and that's the only negative thing about it. “First time visiting as I drove through the area. Great customer service and amazing food. They have an assortment of salsa which I love too. I ordered taquitos and a carne asada burrito. I was not disappointed. Food came fresh and hot (to the point I had to wait a few minutes for it to cool down). I'll definitely be returning... probably tomorrow“
“Show up hungry if you order the pastrami sandwich!!! This was the largest, and messiest pastrami sandwich I’ve ever seen in all of Southern California!!! Huge, MASSIVE, and quite messy too!!! No matter how hard I tried?, pieces of hot meat were falling out all over the place. The price of this sandwich is well worth it, considering it could feed two (possibly even as many as three??) really HUNGRY people, because it’s is SOOO FREAKING HUGE!!!!“
“My wife and I have eaten here for years, along with friends and family. Really good food. Recently we had a Grub Hub order go wrong. I called La Fogata and Kris explained the technical glitch that caused it. Reasonable explanation that made sense. She then went a step further and made it right. Problem resolved. Minutes later I received a call from Javier, the manager, to personally apologize and also assure me they would make it right, which they did, and then some.Amazing service to go along with their great food. “When we were visiting the area we found this place and you can never go wrong with their California Breakfast Burrito. Unfortunately, this is the only food I tried, I would love to try other menu but with how big serving they have one burrito is enough. Place was neat and has a good setup. Their interior feels welcoming and spacious. I love the salsa corner and their options. The food was fresh served and wait time wasn't that long.“

“The food is so good, I got a beef chimichanga and horchata today. I've made chimichangas at home and they've never been this good! The horchata is the 3rd I've ever tried and it's not my favorite drink, but it was definitely the best I've had, its very sweet and has a lot more cinnamon than others I've tried. Definitely stop by, the staff has been nothing but sweet while I'm doing deliveries and pick ups. I'm glad I got to finally try it out“
“No matter what we get it's always great. I'm glad it's around the corner from our house or I would have to drive all the way across town to get there. I'm literally eating steak from there right now. Servers are entertaining and friendly. Lots of menu selections and they're all delicious! Margaritas are the best in town. Love this place.“
