We hadn't been to an island's for a while. I had the blue cheese burger, and it was really good. The service was much better than I've experienced at other restaurants. They were constantly asking if we wanted a refill on our drinks and asked many times if we needed anything in general. I wasn't expecting that good of service.
Went for lunch , I had the Hulu Hulu chicken sandwich with island fries and a margarita, my friend had the Kilauea burger and cheese fries and the margarita. The chicken was cooked perfectly lightly crisp , juicy, the pineapple and sauce sweet and tangy, fries were skin on seasoned with house season salt. We came here on a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy. We were seated right away. There were 5 of us with 2 adults and 3 kids The server was very attentive and got our drink orders right away. We ordered 2 kids chicken tender meals with fries, a maui burger with grilled onions, and the huli huli crisp chicken sandwhich, all with fries The burger was very tasty.
