Tu Madres Cantina & Grill CA: La Quinta 2022 December Four Stars This beautiful modern Mexican restaurant and bar had a good food and upbeat vibe. The wait staff were working hard but seemed stretched. We enjoyed our tortilla soup, fried avocado tacos, and Baja burrito. The soup had a lot flavor and spice. The burrito plate was barren.

The Chicken Mole Poblano I ordered with out the corn tortillas with extra radish, pickled onions and cilantro - and also came with a side of rice along with a piece of chicken in mole sauce; it was delicious and a mild mole on the spice scale. The specialty cocktail How I Met Your Mother was served in a copper cup and was sweet but not overwhelming so.
