“Moved To Hawthorne back in April & started coming In the Summer & they have always been friendly and pretty quick even when it gets crowded on early school dismissal days. Can't go wrong with their chocolate dipped ice cream cone.“

“I want to give a full overview of the Nile Bar. I’ve been on multiple occasions- weekends and weeknights alike so I feel I have a good gage.Theres a lot of great things such as the huge TV’s, huge bar seating, live DJ/Bands and themed nights. It’s definitely more of a local bar feel because it’s a very clicky place. Meaning people just talk amongst the group of friends they came with- it’s not very social if you come alone and want to meet new people.Overall, service is not bad but it’s not good. You will wait much longer than expected. This is if the bar is full or just 1 to 5 people inside. Experienced both.Drinks are good and strong- price varies as they do have happy hour, but I usually pay closer to 17 bucks for one drink after happy hour.Had the sliders which were excellent but the wings were cooked very hard and they were not good. Now this part can be superficial, but this is for the fellas. The woman are on the larger/older side. This place doesn’t attract younger, smaller sized women. I’m not saying the women aren’t pretty, but if you also want someone in shape I would say this is not the place. And for the women… there’s a selection of men who come in solo to “watch the game” but besides small talk and a drink being bought for a very select few- I don’t really see you meeting anyone here. Just not set up for that vibe in my opinion. Stick to your gworls. But with all that being said, something about the Nile Bar really works. You just want to always come back because it does feel great. Idk what it is, but it’s a special feeling this place has that just pulls you back in for another game, another bite, or another drink.I give this place 4 stars overall!“
“I use to live up the street from the restaurant off of Brett Street. Every Friday I’d treat myself to a plate of brown stew chicken and two on payday Fridays. I’m now living in Ohio, and I I’ve thought about your food more than a 1000 times in the past two years. Your food is not just good. It’s the best I’ve ever had.“
“I ordered a turkey burger, fries, and a drink. And I have to say the food was great. It was one of the best I've had in a while. The staff was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was 100%?? Thanks, guys. I'm definitely coming back.“
“We just left the SoFi stadium after the game. Came here to wait out the traffic. The walk here was well lit, clean, and had plenty of police and security to make us feel safe. The food was good, the atmosphere was better. Our server Raul HUSSLED around getting us our food and drinks! 10/10 recommend. Now we're leaving in a great mood, and our Uber should be right here. It's totally worth it to wait out the traffic.“
“We just landed in LA, got our rental, and were looking for breakfast. I was craving a breakfast burrito. We found Puerto Nuevo Coffee and Tacos on Google. All three of us ordered breakfast burritos but with different proteins. I got the egg, sausage, potatoes, and cheese and beet /apple/ginger juice. My burritos tasted good but a little disappointed with the sausage, it was just a single-link sausage. It would have tasted better if the sausage was diced up and had a little more of it. I couldn't taste the sausage flavor in the burritos unless I bit on the side where the link was sitting. The freshly pressed juice was delicious just like my home pressed juice.FYI, parking is right.“
“Best ground nut soup I've had since Africa!Brought a few colleagues for lunch. None of them had eaten West African food before but they all loved it and loved the culinary adventure.Delicious! Thank you!Oh, and the verdict is in, Ghanaian jollof rice is best.“
“Two Hommés is a culinary gem tuck away in Inglewood right next to the Ralphs on LaBrea and Centinela. I walked in during Sunday Brunch and I was welcomed by bigs smiles by the host. I learned that Two Hommés serves west African fusion and high quality food.I supported this Black-Owned business and ordered their house made crab cakes. They so fresh, delicious, and tasty. The owner Chef AB was so kind and lovely. He added grits, a biscuit, and a lemonade. 10/10 I recommend.“
