“I'm writing an update, after having not visited in 7 years. Things have changed greatly. The front has been renovated to include a bar seating area. There is still a small rear dining room. The patio out front has been covered and new seating installed. Parking is still a headache. I dropped a star because they took my favorite pescado ranchero off the menu. Everything is still tasty as ever. Prices have gone up, but that is the case most everywhere these days.“
“Went here tonight cause it was a block away from the Motel 6 I was staying at. The place is small, but has a great homey feel you'd expect from a Mariscos place. I got the Baja shrimp burrito. They brought me a chicken burrito first by mistake and it was really tasty, I almost just ate it and didnt say anything, but was in the mood for shrimp. A man who I assume is either the manager or owner kept going up to me to make sure I was ok. He really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. The burrito was great. I've had better, but absolutely no complaints. I'd normally give this 4 stars being that they gave me the wrong dish and it wasn't exactly mind blowing. But the manager was so cool that I can't help but give it 5 stars. Also the Molcajete looked and smelled amazing so I'm gonna assume that's the thing to get.“
“Food is great and the restaurant is run by the owners - always a good sign. Bar area is cool, they have jukebox that you can control from an app on your phone and plenty of TV's to catch a game. Excellent shredded beef in their quesadillas and enchiladas - the flavor is just fantastic! They have unbelievable lunch specials and is one of the last places in LA where you won't have to transfer money from your 401k to pay for a meal. The place is pretty big and has room for a nice birthday party. Oh... and the service is very fast. Ain't nobody lazy employed here!“
“Visited LA for the weekend and went here on a recommendation. Service was excellent. The snook is a must. We shared the Tostaditos as an appetizer, and it was fantastic. The salsa is amazing…but you gotta like hot. If you do, it’s addicting. We will be back any time we get back in the area.“
“Yes you have to pay for the garlic butter and tartar sauce I can understand if they give you one and you have to pay for extra but they are not even giving you tartar sauce with your fish so I personally will not be going back I spent $52 four of those dollars went to the garlic butter for me that's ridiculous.“
“The food is excellent and seasoned to perfection. But I'm writing this review about the outstanding customer service. After ordering online, I picked up my order and upon getting home I realized the order was incorrect. I called and talked to the lovely Tosha who admitted the restaurant's mistake (wrote down the order wrong), apologized, and offered me a free meal to make up for the mistake. Genuinely some of the best customer service in Los Angeles - I am so impressed. I can't thank you all enough. I was already a fan and loyal patron but this sealed the deal. Please support this business!“
“Landed at LAX, and headed straight to this gem of a spot! The tacos some of the best I’ve ever had, calamari is amazing, portions are large, margaritas are generous and authentic! We were greeted with home made tortilla chips and salsa right as we sat down service is prompt & friendly, and the restaurant is clean and well kept! Highly recommended to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food! Thank you for the amazing food and service! We will be back again!“
“My first time here food was not bad I got the mixto fajitas I didn't like their horchata kind of watery but the waitress was very nice and attentive. I didn't really like the cash only option as it's an inconvenience to have to pull out cash for your meal but over all not bad.“
“It is not just another seafood place, it is the place to go to eat seafood, the service is very friendly and the cleanliness is visible throughout the place, fresh food that you can feel in your mouth, super affordable prices and great portions It could pass for a Michelin star place...“
“?? JALISCO MÉXICO (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - If you read through the thoughts of commenters online about Taquería Millo and the carnicería it is connected to, you will get a much different experience than the usual rubbish. Instead, you get a feeling for the long history of this Lennox staple and the people that have been coming here since they were kids.“
“Yes, Have been a customer for years! I always get the Catfish Lunch.. It is just enough. The fish is cooked just right! How do they do that! A husband and wife team are the owners.. Nice folks.. You get a side and fresh slices of bread with your meal. Just like down South in the old days. Parking is Free. Limited! Parking on the street. Oh, you may eat there, but small area. Take to go and enjoy your meal with a nice glass of wine. ?No public bathroom and pay with $ Cash.. Bring cash! Smile.. Drop in and Note: You will Enjoy! Don“
“This place is so good! Hats off to the chef. It’s a small but VERY CLEAN hole in the wall that has big flavor! I got the paella and my hubby got the coctel de camaron y pulpo. Both were scrumptious and well worth the visit/ we will definitely be coming back often. I’m big on reviews and only visit/eat places with good reviews/ this restaurant has a 4.3 and deserves 5. Delicious!“
“My shuttle driver had this chicken and recommended I give it a try. When I arrived, there was only one person in line ahead of me so I placed my order thinking my food would be out in about five minutes. It took about 15 minutes for my food to be cooked. I ordered one chicken leg, fries, and also of can of soda. There was some seating, but only enough for about 2 to 3 people total. Food came out hot of course. Definitely tasty but I don’t think I will call it the best. ? I probably would eat here again.“
“FINALLY went to check this place out. Went right when they opened last Friday and there were already customers seated inside. The backyard area where they have their tables is bigger than I expected. Ordered their ceviche and tacos (gobernador and echilosos) which was pretty great, fresh and tasty. Parking can be hard because it's a neigborgood but we got lucky we found one couple houses down. I think you should defintiely come visit right when they open at 11am. They do zelle and cash as forms of payment.“
