“Love it we meet my daughter and grandson mostly on Friday after school. The malts shakes and banana splits couple scoops on a waffle cone and we're in heaven. Family owned and operated by really great people. I would recommend anybody that wants some sweet ice cream or a malt whatever go to The sweet spot in Ione IONE ”

“My family and I are new to Ione and have yet to explore all the great places. Church and Main was still underway when we first moved here over the summer and being a coffee lover, I was so excited to try it out. I've always loved small cozy coffee houses. The kind you see in movies and tv shows. Recently a friend of mine and her family also moved into town so her and I decided to finally try Church and Main for a girl date this morning. Let me tell ya! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a joyful "good morning". There were already a couple of people taking up a table or two and the ambience was just as I had imagined. Cozy, friendly and smelled delicious. I had their Brown sugar Latte-which was my first time trying and I am hooked- with their breakfast burrito. My daughter had what i believe was a fresh pressed lemonade and blackberry mini muffins and my friend had a Vanilla Latte with their egg bites. My friend said she was skeptical about the egg bites since she prefers homemade but said they were some pretty good egg bites and definitely better than she'd expected. The burrito was very delicious and filling and the mini muffins were nice and moist. The brown sugar latte, let's just say it's a new favorite for me. Ione is our new home, and Church and Main is definitely my new favorite coffee house.”

“Great food, so if you're ever in Ione go by and eat the great tasting food. If you order nachos get the salsa and cheese sauce on the side if you don't eat it right away because it makes the chips very soggy.Parking: The truck is at the Shell gas station and there is limited parking, but it is worth it.”

“Had lunch here yesterday. With the views out the windows of the beautiful California foothills, covered in green grass and poppies, it was a beautiful experience. We sat where we could see the lake and the fisherman coming and going. Missy was our server and she kept our drinks full and made sure we had everything we needed from the beginning. Missy is an excellent server and made us feel special. I ordered the lunker which is a 1/3 pound burger and I added mushrooms and blue cheese. Yum! Had a salad with mine, but the hubby The tater tots, which is one of their specialties with his patty melt, the tater tots are cooked to perfection, made us feel like kids again! Great experience, as usual!”

“The Burke Family Restaurant is in the historic Ione Hotel. Very antique looking and very clean. The hand made bread and food was fantastic. I had a chicken pizza backed on handmade sourdough bread...tasted great. The prices are very low for the quality of the food and service. We've eaten there many times and we'll be back.”

“In the small town of Ione, there isnt much of a wine experience. Sure, there's the hotel and the cafe but nothing close to a tasting room. Till now. Set in the back of a western store called Mane Street Tack, Wine a Little is a nice respite away from the outside world. With an excellent selection of whites and reds from Oak Ridge winery and designed to look in part like a covered wagon, the atmosphere sets itself apart from other tasting rooms in the area. Plus the bar stools are saddles! Say hi to Don when you come in.”

“For Valentines evening dinner listed shared 40oz steak. No where did it state a "Tomakawk" steak which had a huge rib boneover a foot long, nor was it mentioned by the waitress. I have had many offers to buy from butchers, and other restaurants, but would not pay steak price for such a large in bone steak.Steak was delicious however and enjoyed, but would not have ordered if Tomahawk steak been advertised or advised by staff would have ordered something else.Gary Fonda”

“The store is clean the employees are great the guy Collin really knows his stuff it’s not their fault the franchise suck’s definitely a place to stop if your hungry amazing customer service shoutout to the informative manager Collin! Always super helpful and respectful! I’ll definitely be back you gotta appreciate hard working fast food workers. They definitely don’t get paid enough for what they deal with!!!. I can deal with the bathroom being out of order since they explained some j*** broke the lock. That’s really on the owner to fix not the employees.. great local spot for some great conversation and customer service. The owner Jimmy is actually really nice if you ever meet him”

“High end eating in a small town of wine country. Would happily return if in the area. Full cocktail menu. Many local wines. Friendly staff. I got the pork chop which I normally wouldn't get out, but it was so delicious. Great mustard seasoning with baked apples on top with a plate of spaetzle. Great after a day of wine tasting to refuel.”

“This is my second time coming to this establishment and each time has been great! Grew up eating a lot of pho and going to a bunch of different pho locations so this place is legit. The owner used to own and manage a pho restaurant in the Sacramento area but retired and closed it down. He is now out of retirement and running this restaurant now. This time around, we ordered the rare steak and beef ball pho, fried egg rolls, and crispy squid. All items came out fast and were all hot and tasty. The pho here always hits the spot - the broth is flavorful and clean. The location is prime as it is in the Safeway plaza so tons of parking, gas station near by, and other restaurants in the vicinity. Inside is clean and the service was great! I will say, this place is a little pricy for pho compared to other pho restaurants but it is still worth the pay since this is the only pho joint in Amador County.”
