Wasted a trip to pick up a cake ordered online the day before. Show up and “sorry we’re sold out”. Why do you take online orders then and don’t communicate anything about not being able to have the cake at the time you gave???

We’ve been to an excellent 85'C Bakery in Salt Lake City so I was a little disappointed in the Irvine location. Small and cramped although the selection was good for bakery items. Staff was very helpful in reporting to us that certain foods contained gelatin and we should avoid those (cakes, glazed items). The boba was disappointing, soft but not sweet at all. Very different than what we expected from other 85'C Bakery’s.

The store interior was clean. Too many people in the line to place order but only one register opened. It’s really not efficient.Parking: There are both parking lot and parking garage. It’s crowded during the weekend or holiday shopping.
It is better than most, but can be better as I wouldn't rate it awesome. In the evening you may have to wait a long time. Their best vegetarian was potato pastry but nowadays they don't make it anymore ?
