We tried this restaurant for the first time on Friday night. The food and customer service were good. But, their cheesecake was very old and I couldn’t eat it. If you want to enjoy their live band make sure to make a reservation.

Food was good, the salmon plate was tasty, the food prep time was fine. I would have preferred the room temperature warmer. The doors were left open at 7:00 pm, no heaters, I had to go back to the car to get jackets to be able to eat our meals. Our only complaint.
I came here after a workout class. They have quite a menu option - mostly healthy but some not. I ordered the salmon plate that came with 2 sides. I chose the grilled zucchini and sweet potato fries. It was all very tasty.

I had fish and chips. Comes with 2 sides. I chose Brussel sprouts and zucchini. They give you 3 gigantic pieces of fish. Delicious! But the Brussel sprouts were burnt to a crisp! Had I known they fried them, I would chosen something else. But it's a very nice place. Very cozy. Nice beer & wine selection. Some cocktails even. I like this place. I just wish they didn't burn my vegetables. But I'll come back and try other stuff. They have a huge menu. Their sides are healthy. Sweet potatoes, asparagus, brown rice, zucchini, Brussel sprouts. Very healthy when you pair it with fish. They even have happy hour. I recommend you ask how the vegetables are prepared before you order. I would have given them 5 stars if they didn't burn my Brussels. That seems to be a trend now. Lots of restaurants prepare them this way. With that being said, this is a very nice place. Has good food. I do recommend them.

Ordered from here multiple times and food has always been solid. The fish and side portion sizes are all very good. I always enjoy the branzino. The brussel sprouts are cooked well but I wish it was less sweet. This is my go to fish grill.
One of the best fish restaurants I have been to. Price is very affordable and outstanding selection fresh fish selection. Wine and beer and desserts as well. Clean and neat with indoor and outdoor seating!

Well BLOW me down! I am blown away by how good the food was at the OC Fish Grill on Alton in Irvine. I love me some fried food, but I also appreciate some higher end fare. This place has it all. The fried zucchini was the crispiest and most flavorful I have had, ever. The fried calamari was not just crispy but tender and tasty. The brussel sprouts bursted with charred flavor and not a hint of bitterness. Their battered fish taco surprised with authentic Latin flavor and the softest corn tortilla in memory. The service was excellent and the decor and atmosphere is contemporary and cool. Even the bathrooms were clean. All in all, the best fish place in town.

Food kinda bland... tried the Mahi Mahi fish taco and frankly there was nothing to it... even added Tabasco sauce still couldn't get any flavor. Sorry guys.... I was planning to go and get some cod tonight. Not sure I'll be able to give this place another shot. Looking for the top freshest fish n chips in OC.
