We did not have a chance to try the actual burgers, but the fries and the mac & cheese were outstanding. The Black Garlic Truffle Parmesan Fries Tossed in House Fermented Black Garlic Herb Sauce with a Side of Truffle Aioli were perfectly seasoned. Likewise, the Bacon Mac & Cheese Artisanal Four Cheese Bechamel, Bacon Bits, Garlic Herb Breadcrumbs is among the best mac & cheese I have had anywhere. Definitely looking forward to trying the burgers soon!
OMG! OMG! OMG!! SmorBurgers is now in Irvine! Honestly, I don't know if this is good or bad! Having it this close to home is not going to help me lose this COVID-20lbs that I put on. Haha. Chef Joe Youkhan is all about depth of flavors and hearty portions. During the soft opening, we knew not to over order because the burgers will definitely fill you up. Absolutely delicious! You can tell a lot of thought went into topping these burgers, and it absolutely tastes like it. Fries were incredibly fresh and crispy. If you want a burger topped with fancy fixings, you won't regret this place.
