We have been going to this place for years. They are cheapening out with their ingredients. For example, instead of two cream layers inside a cake, now they are substituting cheap jam to replace that layer. In addition, there were hardly any strawberries inside the cake. You cannot blame everything on inflation but dont start cheapening out. Also, texture was off too.

We stopped in because I was craving an egg custard tarts. It wasn't crispy or flakey like I was hoping, but it was 5pm in the evening. The custard was good. Perfect amount of sweetness.

I like good Asian bakeries and I REALLY wanted to like this bakery. So much so I have visited this bakery several times and tried several things. But so far things I tried are all underwhelming. - The caramel pudding has texture, like it was frozen and thawed. The custard is separated. I know this because I have frozen custard pudding before, and it ends up just like what they have. - Nutella cream puffs are WAYYYY underfilled. The pastry shell is very dry due to lack of the filling. - I tried icebox cake-tiramisu and strawberry. They weren't good. The tiramisu doesn't taste like tiramisu. It taste like it was made with *fake* tiramisu filling mix, not real mascarpone. The cake part is fluffy but it's rubbery and dry. I wish I could have written nice things but sorry, they need to figure out how to do better!

Love their taro smoothie more than the taro milk tea! The customer service there is top tier!!b he offered to switch out my taro milk tea because I didn't like it as much as the slush. Would always come back

OMG! was totally surprised by the Boba Egg tart. I didn't think that combo would be good, but after having one, I was pleasa surprised. The custard and the boba mixed well together.

I came for the egg tarts can't say I'll get it again. It's HK style except the ones I had tasted pretty cooked eggy if that makes sense. The service was truly a hit and miss. The woman with long black hair at the register was packaging egg tarts into take home containers. So when she asked me what I needed I asked for one box of egg tarts. Instead of giving me one of the boxes she just finished packaging and ringing me up right at the register, she said "they're right over there" and nose pointed to the table in the middle of the store. I grabbed one from the table but then watched her walk over to the table and place the same boxes she was packaging on the table. I mean whatever lol. The taller guy with black hair then rang me up and he was a genuine nice guy with good customer service.

Super super solid bakery with selections that feel unique! Got a few cakes and they were all delicious. Cream was light and cake itself was fluffy. Super recommend the hokkaido cream cakes as well!
