Did not live up to the praise of other reviews at all. Got some chocolate cake in individual slices / rectangular pieces from here. It was dry and the ganache had wired texture too. We ended up not even finishing 1st piece and had to throw other slices away. May be it was not their best day of backing but I was super disappointed. Bit too expensive to start with and a complete waste of money.

The nicest people and adorable little French Cafe! I mistakenly thought it was vegan/vegetarian from a Google search but despite having meat they had many options for me and were so lovely and accommodating in making recommendations. A wonderful accidental find after a beautiful Glendale hike. Highly recommend!

How has this gem been in my area for so long and I never knew about it? My friend is vegan, and was coming to visit me, so I seached for vegan-friendly restaurants in my area. This one popped up, and the reviews convinced me I needed to try it!So glad I did! This place is small - only a few tables - but they've decorated it beautifully and have a lot of cool French items for sale. Service - very friendly and warm. And the food was outstanding! My friend got the ratatouille, and the waitress asked him if he was a vegan. When he said yes, she offered to bring him a basket of vegan bread and vegan butter. Not being a vegan myself, I was a bit skeptical but was instantly proved wrong - the butter was delicious, as was the bread. Who knew??I'm not much of a sandwich person, but I can't resist goat cheese, so I ordered the Montrachet and prosciutto sandwich and it was fantastic! It was huge, too - I had to take half of it home. Everything was fresh and delicious.I loved it so much that I'm going to take my husband there on Monday! Thanks for such a great dining experience.

I've eaten at France Cafe regularly over the last year and every single time I'm delighted with the entire experience! Gerard, his wife and crew are all so welcoming and friendly that it generates a thrilling vibe to each occasion. But the food - oh, the food is THE star! Each dish is a marvel, from chicken curry to lasagna to a simple croissant. Chef's kiss!Go, eat, and be happy in body and soul!

Hands down the best French place around. Super friendly staff and French owned. The croissants in the morning are epic and the crepes are straight out of a French bistro. Every sandwich I've tried was excellent and the 3 dinner specials that I've tried have been nothing short of perfection. A true gem here.
I had the pleasure of dining at this charming French breakfast place recently, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, Kathleen, the owner, greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. Her hospitality truly set the tone for the entire experience. The food here is simply exquisite. I indulged in a croissant that was so flaky and buttery, it transported me to the streets of Paris. The omelettes were a work of art, filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients, and the coffee was rich and aromatic. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant, with its quaint decor and soft French music playing in the background, made the meal even more enjoyable. It's the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast or brunch. What struck me most was the attention to detail in every dish. You can tell that the chef is passionate about creating authentic French cuisine. Each bite was a culinary journey that I can't wait to embark on again. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service. Kathleen made sure that every guest felt like a cherished friend, and her dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience was evident. In conclusion, this French breakfast place is a hidden gem. Kathleen's warm hospitality, coupled with the scrumptious food, makes it a must-visit. Whether you're a fan of French cuisine or simply looking for a delightful breakfast, this place will not disappoint. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delectable offerings.

It's not easy to make a good cappuccino, I'm often disappointed by Starbucks, but the one I got here was first rate. Good pastry too. A Charming low-key French
