Our family, including our kids, enjoyed a delicious dinner overlooking La Jolla cove. The menu is extensive with ramen, sushi, and many other asian inspired dishes. I enjoyed a sake flight and Miso Hot Ramen. My wife loved her Poke bowl and my kids loved the animal character bao buns with the favorite being the Bunny with Nutella filling. Food was great, but we got forgotten by our waiter. We only saw him when we ordered and when he paid. They forgot the side dish for dipping sushi and didn’t have the sweet & sour dipping sauce for the crab wontons. Our food came before our drinks, and we had to ask for them again. At that point we were already over halfway done. When we were done we waited over 15 minutes, at which point I approached another waiter and asked for a to go box and the check. Food was good, salmon nigiri was buttery! Chicken Teriyaki skillet portion seemed a bit smaller compared to other locations though. Atmosphere was great, some tables even get an ocean view! Server forgot to bring a couple of items we asked for (sauces) but not a big deal. Overall a great place to visit, especially for the character buns ?
