“Wow…this place is blowing up with awesome food and flavors. We tried many options and they were all fantastic. We order chicken and goat sukka, butter chicken, tikka Marsala, veg street noodles (so good we ordered the chicken ones also) butter naan, biryani, rice, white rice, and basmati rice. For appetizers, try the tandoori chicken and chicken 65. Everything including the service was awesome.“

“Have tried this place a few times so far (both dine in and delivery -- a la carte only), and the food has been consistently good. Our favorites have been idli (has gotten better over time), vada, pongal and bhel puri. The dosas are decent too. Kids like their set dosa. The chutneys are very good too. I notice that with most South Indian restaurants, the quality of chutneys deteriorates over time, but so far they've maintained the quality. I really hope they keep up the quality of food.“

Really young clientele when we went, which was just when they opened.The food was decent, but not astounding. The tomato creme based dishes were notably thin and watered down, and the rice could have been cooked a few minutes more. The Naan was great though, as were the appetizers (Samosas and some potato pancake sort of thing, I think?).Service was a bit scarce, but the pleasant demeanor of the server easily made up for it. Also, note to Management: please inform the wait staff that providing the customer with a bill to review BEFORE they pay isn't some extraneous old-timey "boomer" thing, but a standard transactional necessity for customers. People need to know exactly what their bill is comprised of before they pay (you don't just verbally tell them a total and ask for a credit card). That's the point of bringing the bill first. “THIS IS A GREAT PLACE! Without exaggeration, I've probably visited this place over 20 times. This is the BEST Indian food I've found in San Diego, yet it seems like I'm eating at a fancy restaurant because it's so reasonably priced. It's pretty amazing how pleasant, kind, and attentive the service is, and how nicely decorated and presented the plates and dishes are. I suggest all chicken dishes, but especially Chicken 65 and " Chicken dum Biryani." Any finicky eater, like me, will appreciate the meals here. I say this from experience.“

“My brother and I were staying in Mission Beach and wanted to find an Indian restaurant close by that had good reviews. The food here is amazing! I talked it about it for days haha. We shared the Chicken Korma, Chicken Saag, Garlic Naan. The restaurant looks like more of a “fast food/take out” place and is in a shopping area. It’s not fancy, but a nice, casual place with friendly staff and great service. We also liked the “sauce” bar. I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and this tops my list, You won’t be disappointed!“

“My coworker and I came here on a Friday night, I think he had some sort of Groupon. We ordered a ton of things: Masala Vada - Deep fried chana dal patties served with Chutney, Masala Dosa - Dosa stuffed with masala (potato, carrot, peas and onion), Vegetable Biryani - Dosa stuffed with masala (potato, carrot, peas and onion), Malai Kofta - Deep fried balls (koftas) made with potato and paneer are dunked in a creamy spiced velvety smooth curry, Gobi Manchurian - Cauliflower florets tossed in hot chilli and soy based manchurian sauce, Bisi Bele Bath - Rice, lentils, and vegetables cooked with special blend of spices, Onion Naan and Garlic Naan. Food was amazing and I would love to come here again!“

“If you love spice and flavor, this is the place. I had been wanting to try Haleem for a while now, something Pista House is well known for. It was delicious, and so were the Samosas and chutney that came with it. Masala chai after the meal really hit the spot. Extremely nice lady at the front made me feel right at home. The haleem is not always available though, so call in ahead to make sure they have it. Highly recommend, certified bussin.“

The Paneer Butter Masala is superb, and it is even better than the Chicken Tikka Masala, if that is even possible... These two dishes were the highlight of the evening with their fullness and rich taste. The Lamb Rogan Josh was very spicy, despite the fact that I requested mild spice, but it was savory and full of flavor. This dish was prepared in a homemade and authentic Southern Indian fashion. If you like spice, then this is your dish... The Cocktail Naan is a spicy version of the Garlic Naan. It had green chili peppers as a topping, and it would be perfect as an appetizer to accompany a glass of wine. The regular Garlic Naan was also good, but it was substantially burned on the bottom and edges. The Raita was an interesting take on this side dish, because it contained chopped onions. Although the yoghurt was at an acceptable consistency, the lack of herbs and abundance of onions in this version of Raita left it a bit bland and dry. The Customer Service here was great! Akni was very helpful... I would have given them 4.5 stars if I could, as they are definitely an up and coming restaurant.“

“Great place, great food, great service but very expensive for vegatarian Indian food. 3 dishes with 3 different Nan, $135 with tip. We didn't order any expensive meat dishes. Not sure I will go again but I have to admit, it was good. Most restaurants whimp out when you request spicy but they delivered.“

“I really enjoyed the Chettinadu Pizza with Chicken. It has a delicious green sauce! Not spicy, just flavorful. And it’s full of fresh onions, bell peppers, chicken. Even half the 10 inch was filling. I like the crust too.It’s very saucy and not too sturdy, so you might want to plan to eat it there. I think it might get pretty soggy otherwise. They have a few tables and more outside. No bathroom, good to know.They have more pizzas I want to try; but I didn’t realize that they have lots of other things like Gobi Manchurian, Korean Bowls…The Chettinadu pizza had such good flavors that I am excited to try more of their cooking.“

“Went to this place a couple weeks to catch the happy hour. We've been looking for good indian food since the pandemic and we have found it!! Garry was the best and was attentive to our needs. When the tables started to fill up, he got a bit busy but he would check in and see if we needed anything else. Food was delicious and the MANGOSSSSSS! So good! Try out the happy hour! Will go again. (Side note: The restaurant has a rental hall and it does get a bit loud when they play music but we didn't mind. )“

“Never dined in but ordered take out many many times. The first things we tried were so good we've never branched out to try new dishes. Chicken makhani, garlic and/or cheese naan, and the mixed momo are unbelievable. I'm a biryani fan and the fact that I still haven't tried theirs speaks to how good the makhani is. Tikka masala as well. The momo and dipping sauce that comes with it are the highlight, however, and were a new thing for us. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey unless you stretch things with naan or rice. Still, it's worth it now and then for some flavors you wouldn't find at your average Indian place.“

“I was not all that hungry so got the lunch special to go. I got the chicken curry, and the tandoori chicken. It came with fresh hot naan, and some rice. It was tasty and authentic. Next time I'm real hungry I'll try the buffet. My one and only critique would be the little bit of salad was served atop the hot food, so if you want a nice cool fresh crisp salad leave that want at the door. It does save on containers, and therefore waste, but perhaps they can put it on a foil wrap to keep it semi separated. Anyways it's still a great value and delicious so I'll accept that minor flaw.“

This is off the beaten path in an industrial complex that might get overlooked. It gets incredibly busy for lunch. There is limited seating and a cute outdoor patio area.
