“The dinner was good and service very good! But, one of their dishes hit a pet peeve of mine... a beet salad that was a small amount of beets buried in greens, rather than a fair portion of well plated beets garnished with some greens!”

“We really enjoyed our dinner here. Gina, our server, was the best we have had at any restaurant in a long time! It was later in the evening and she had lots of energy and made really good food and wine recommendations. The food was delicious - we had the Grilled Prime Bavette Steak Frites Au Poivre, the Slow Braised Prime Beef Short Rib Bourguignon and the Salmon dish. Gina had many wine suggestions in all different price categories. Their wine list was extensive. The bread was very good and warm. We sadly did not have room for dessert but will try next time we are in the desert. The only thing they could have improved on, is that they are not kidding when they said it was a "Baby Wedge" salad. The salad was small. I normally split a normal size wedge salad, but this one is not shareable. They could add a little more lettuce and make it bigger.”

Full of flavor but very light. Made for a great lunch 3 tacos: 5 stars, carnitas, al pastor, and asada. They gave me plenty of limes, but the meat was tender and flavorful without them Mini chimis: 5 stars, we got carnitas chimis, and they gave us plenty of sour cream and avocado and lime to go with them. Very filling - we ate this as a meal. Marianna was our server and was very friendly and enjoyable to joke with. Would come back!”

“The perfect birthday dinner for my husband. He enjoyed the calamari steak, cooked to perfection. I had the seafood combo over pasta and it was delicious. We loved the “vintage” ambience of the red leather booth decor. We will definitely go back to sample the entire menu. Piano bar music and singer started at 6pm and it was delightful.”

“Heard this spot was a must try from friends and they weren’t wrong! The ingredients were fresh and overall the ramen had a delicious flavor. Our waitress was really nice and offered great recommendations. I loved the side of roasted black garlic oil (one side was more than enough for two bowls of ramen) and soft boiled egg. We also enjoyed the vegetable spring rolls as an appetizer. If you’re a fan of ramen, Torakichi is well worth it! I’ll definitely be back.”

“Ok.... so we had such a great experience 2 weeks ago when we went for the first time that we bragged so much about it and decided to return last week with a friend. Well it was a completly different experience and it was so terrible that i said i would not return. I even gave them such a bad reviews because I was so angry. Anyways today my Husband talked me into going again because he said let's try it one more time. Give them a chance we might be surprised.When we walked in....I knew the young server from last week remembered us from last week and I told my Husband I know they saw the bad review I gave. I was uncomfortable but stayed. The young woman that came up and asked if we wanted something to drink she was very nice. We Hadn't seen her the last 2 visits. But it turned out that she's one of the managers. Her name was Yvette. I think the server from last week didn't want to help us but I can't say that I blamed her. When She brought our coffee and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered and my Husband mentioned we had a bad experience last week but we would like to try the fruit plate again. She told us right away that she had seen the review and so did the owner and she knew it was us from the server telling her it was. She apologized right away about what happened to us and explained the young server we had last week was new and that they appreciated our real input because it helps the restaurant learn. She said the owner even had a meeting about things to improve on. She Thanked us for giving them another try. She continued to be our server. Everything was awesome. She talked to us off and on a few times and even though it was awkward.... it was really nice. When she gave us our check.... she tried to comp the ticket which was nice. We said it was unessasary. She still gave us a few bucks off anyways which was nice. I attached a picture of the wonderful fruit plate too. Anyways....I guess the moral here is.... sometimes a bad review helps like in this case. But sometimes.... including myself.... we sould maybe stop think that maybe everyone has a bad day and sometimes it's better to remember that.Thanks Guys for a great visit this time!”

“Hadn't been here in years but came back with some friends last week and loved it. The tuna and seabass were out of this world and even the rigatoni was surprisingly awesome. I say surprisingly because they aren't known for pasta but it was perfectly al dente and the sauce was rich without being heavy. “This is a step up from a fast food restaurant. We enjoyed surprisingly good food. The pizza, stromboli, wedge salad, brussel sprouts and meatballs were very good. They had a good selection of micro brews. We caught the last 30 min. of happy hour. Most apps were about $8 and they were full size apps. Drink prices were reduced. This is a very casual, locals spot. Service was a little understaffed but we did not suffer for it. Our server was pleasant and worked hard.”

“We came in for dinner and man this place was popular. The wait wasn't too bad, and accurately estimated. The table we sat at was right behind the hostess stand and a little awkward, but it worked. We ordered wings, salad, and a large pizza. All were good. Next time I would order the pizza with thin crust because the regular crust was too thick. But overall, it was very good. The service was great. Our server was very nice and checked in appropriately. Overall good experience.”

“We had a 4 hour layover in SFO enroute for our flight to Auckland so we decided to grab a quick bite. I've tried this place once before and I just remembered it was once of the best lobster rolls I've had. Took an Uber and it was only a quick 8 minute drive so it's not far from the airport. We ordered 2 naked lobster rolls and a bowl of corn lobster chowder and my goodness both were so good! Very filling so get ready to take a nap (which worked out for us on the plane ). Fast and efficient service. They also have daily specials and they have a good outdoor seating area. Parking are all street parking and they have a small area beside. A must to try when you're in a hurry to grab a quick bite in between flights (if your schedule permits)”

“I have wanted to try their bundt cakes but have yet to visit this quaint little shop. I live close by and decided (as a disabled person) to drive my scooter to the shop instead of driving my car. It was a beautiful day and a perfect one to make my visit to the shop with a free coupon in my hand. As I approached the doors, I saw a disabled/wheelchair decal on the left side of the doors. I moved around a bit but the doors are not automatic. I waited by the door and shortly someone came to open them so I could drive in. That was really nice and the person who waited on me was very accommodating. I showed her the coupon and she pointed to the bottom row of mini bundts. I was pleasantly surprised because they were larger than I imagined. I thought they would be cupcake size but they were twice that size. She told me I could pick whatever flavor I wanted on that bottom row. I saw the Pumpkin Spice one and decided that would be perfect for October. She put it in a bag and placed it in my little basket on my scooter. As I was leaving she made sure to ask if she could open the doors for me and I happily said yes. I returned home and immediately ate the bunt cake. It was moist and flavorful, and the topping was creamy and dreamy! These little cakes are perfect for one person. Sometimes you just want a piece of cake and they are perfect! I will be visiting again now that I know how delicious they are! I give them a five-star review for cleanliness, courteousness, proportion size, flavor, and the quaint feel of the business. If I could change anything I would suggest they add automatic doors to accommodate disabled persons.”

“After two false starts dining at fake Chinese food establishments, I desperately need something authentic. Further Google search lead me to The Palm Tree Palace. The name alone passed the Chinese test. From the menu items, I knew I hit gold. Finally, a place that has the right variety of Chinese dishes. The lady who answered the phone was a bit abrupt (in a very Chinese way, but in person, she was very friendly and glad to see us). We were treated with smiles from all the staff when we arrived. We were so 'starved' for real Chinese food at this point that I could have ordered half a dozen dishes, but since we didn't really want to take anything home, we decided on half a Peking Duck, Chicken and Vegetables in White Source, and Fish Congee. Ahhh, can you imagine congee on the menu. And of course, we asked for no MSG and no garlic, not a problem! The cuisine here is Northern Chinese, the Peking Duck came with steamed buns instead of the Canton Style duck with duck skin served with pancakes, and duck meat served as lettuce wraps. The duck skin was very crispy and delicious and the meat was tender. The duck must have been a giant duck because there were more meat piece than I expected. The congee, again was Northern Chinese, not smooth congee like the Cantonese kind. But still delicious, with tender fish and slivers of ginger. The chicken dish was well stir fried, and I didn't even mind the bean sprouts in the vegetable mix. To pass the test as a really great Chinese food restaurant though, it has to score high marks on originality for second and third time visits where you'd try out other dishes. When we came again, we ordered Braised Tofu with Vegetables, and pot stickers and to our disappointment, the vegetables were of the same variety as the chicken vegetables dish, and sauces were the same except more constarch this time, and we didn't enjoy the tiny pieces of square-cut tofu as they were not freshly fried – not crunchy outside and tender inside. That means, if we had ordered both the chicken and tofu dishes for the same meal, we would be lacking a good variety of vegetables. Incidentally, we tend to choose Chinese food when we need lots of cooked vegetables, so, I would think one of the key advantages that all Chinese restaurants should make use of is use as many varieties of fresh vegetables as possible. At home, the famous Chinese restaurants would not get away with this – they have to use different vegetables for different dishes or they would lose all their Chinese customers!”

“We visited Beer Hunters twice and both times had excellent service. The food it typical bar food, but very large portions. The last time we were there our waitress named Jennifer was so kind. It’s amazing how a pleasant server can really make the dining out experience great. They obviously know how to hire staff as everyone is friendly including the young man clearing tables and such. “Everything was wonderful as usual including food and service. This place was the busiest In n Out I have ever visited and they did their very best. Just expect possibly a longer wait and difficult parking. Still a great experience !Parking: Very busy and beautiful, trendy shopping center makes parking very difficult.”

“After two false starts dining at fake Chinese food establishments, I desperately need something authentic. Further Google search lead me to The Palm Tree Palace. The name alone passed the Chinese test. From the menu items, I knew I hit gold. Finally, a place that has the right variety of Chinese dishes. The lady who answered the phone was a bit abrupt (in a very Chinese way, but in person, she was very friendly and glad to see us). We were treated with smiles from all the staff when we arrived. We were so 'starved' for real Chinese food at this point that I could have ordered half a dozen dishes, but since we didn't really want to take anything home, we decided on half a Peking Duck, Chicken and Vegetables in White Source, and Fish Congee. Ahhh, can you imagine congee on the menu. And of course, we asked for no MSG and no garlic, not a problem! The cuisine here is Northern Chinese, the Peking Duck came with steamed buns instead of the Canton Style duck with duck skin served with pancakes, and duck meat served as lettuce wraps. The duck skin was very crispy and delicious and the meat was tender. The duck must have been a giant duck because there were more meat piece than I expected. The congee, again was Northern Chinese, not smooth congee like the Cantonese kind. But still delicious, with tender fish and slivers of ginger. The chicken dish was well stir fried, and I didn't even mind the bean sprouts in the vegetable mix. To pass the test as a really great Chinese food restaurant though, it has to score high marks on originality for second and third time visits where you'd try out other dishes. When we came again, we ordered Braised Tofu with Vegetables, and pot stickers and to our disappointment, the vegetables were of the same variety as the chicken vegetables dish, and sauces were the same except more constarch this time, and we didn't enjoy the tiny pieces of square-cut tofu as they were not freshly fried – not crunchy outside and tender inside. That means, if we had ordered both the chicken and tofu dishes for the same meal, we would be lacking a good variety of vegetables. Incidentally, we tend to choose Chinese food when we need lots of cooked vegetables, so, I would think one of the key advantages that all Chinese restaurants should make use of is use as many varieties of fresh vegetables as possible. At home, the famous Chinese restaurants would not get away with this – they have to use different vegetables for different dishes or they would lose all their Chinese customers!”
