Food was ok nothing great music too loud drinks were on the watery side like it sat for a min.After 1yr.i decided to try this place again.what a BIG mistake if anything it has gone down hill even more ! I ordered the Carnitas plate there was no rice no beans on the plate just a scoop of what was smashed up green (not ripe) avocados mixed with some chopped up lettuce and crumbly cheese.the "Carnitas" were black in some kinda of sauce and they looked like it was leftover crumbs no chunk or shredded carnitas these were in some type of black sauce. I decided to take a taste.,after all looks can be deceiving. BOY!! Was I ever sorry it tasted like the meet was souring and someone tried to save it by adding spices like oregano and bay leaf. It was overwhelming,I explained to our waitress ,who assured me that that was what they usually served for carnitas,instead of this I ordered their taquitos chicken ,my friend was already finished eating by the time they brought these to me I got 3 deformed looking tacos with some of that special lettuce guacamole they make again that overwhelming oregano flavor ,they are adamant about their seasoning lol ! I asked for the check I was already sorry I had gone ahead and ate those tacos ! I asked for a mint at the cashier to try and take the taste of the spices away and was told they ran out but they had toothpicks should I want one! I'm not a cheap person but at 45.00 for 6 taquitos(my friend had ordered the same) and 1 ice tea and a juice.?? Had they been at least a little bit tasty it would not been an issue .I drove home with heartburn straight to medication. Hopefully they find new chef / or /management? They definitely need help!!!

They take advantage of people, my two 16 year Olds went for lunch and they charged them 6.00 for tap water and the food was sub par and wouldn't give them a receipt. It's against the law to charge for water. Despicable!

Cool place for my first time visiting in Lancaster.
Nice atmosphere, good food, great wait staff. It's obviously ageing, but clean and fresh smelling. Bathroom toilet seats are loose, floor has that old build up of gunk from being mopped 1000s of times. If you drink enough margaritas you don't care.

I feel welcomed and attended to. The male waiter was at our table frequently refilling our drinks and asking us how we are doing. He was funny as well. I never been here before so good experience. Food was good and service was quick. I think cause we came in after it just opened. Good job you guys. You work very hard.

This was my first time at Don Cucos. My waiter for the whole night was Devin, he was on his toes for HOURS straight without stopping! He had the best customer service I ever experienced! He made me want to stay for even longer, and I definitely will be coming back because of him specifically!Devin deserves to be manager of this place!
