The meatloaf was turkey meatloaf which should have been Stated on the menu, secondly the Mac and cheese was old it was stuck together and gummy And coldTo the touch, Thirdly the greens were as if they came out of the can. I Ordered the Turkey chops meal with collards and Mac n cheese. When I first arrived to pick up my order, there was another female who walked in and walked right past me and went behind the counter and didn't say hello or asked if I needed assistance. Her attitude wasn't very friendly. But another lady came From back and helped. She was very nice.The chops were very good and well seasoned. The greens could have been a little tender but it was tasty. The Mac n cheese was not good. It was dry and needed more cheese.

Happened upon this place while driving to go to a different restaurant and have some drinks. We decided to pop in and see what it was hitting for. The girls at the register were very nice and helpful and the prices were fair. The restaurant is very clean which is also important. Now, to the food. We ordered the 8 jumbo shrimp dinner and the 10 piece wings. The only critique I have is that the shrimp were not jumbo but they sure were good! The food was very very fresh which is always a plus. As you can see in the picture we threw down right away, wasting no time; we had to be patient with the wings because of how hot and fresh they were. The wings were amazing, very saucy and flavorful. The shrimp also had great flavor. We really enjoyed the sides too. They also have a red slushy drink that was FIRE

I really wanted to like this place it's clean, staff is friendly and black owned! I just tried it for the frist time the fried pork chops were really tastey but too salty! Tried it again food to salty! I really don't understand why cooks thinks that soul food is supposed to be salty. The side protions doesn't match up with the price as an another viewer stated it's less than a 1/3 of a cup. I wii noot return.

The mac n cheese had too much black pepper. And let's not talk about the peach cobbler....too much cinnamon/nutmeg. The red beans and rice? I threw them away. The only good thing was the collard greens. The young lady was rude and not very helpful on the phone or in person. The search for great bbq in the AV continues.

I went to the T Marie's Soul Food today (4.7.23). I had a fried chicken dinner, which came with 2 wings, a thigh, Mac n Cheese, and Candy Yams! This was my 2nd time coming to this place. My first time coming to this place the food was nasty as f**** Today, 4.07.23, I came back for a 2nd time, and the food was very good! I really hope they keep up the good work! The pics speaks for themselves!!!!

This by far is a disrespect to our ancestors who took unwanted food and translated the food into a soul meal. Respectfully, remove the Soul out of the title and call this restaurant T. Marie's Food. I order two XL sides greens, macaroni and cheese, two peach cobblers and two corn bread. Total came up to $42.00. The greens taste like pure vinegar, macaroni and cheese had no taste just soggy. Peach cobbler was old and horrible. Normally I would do my people like this, but I can see if the owner doesn't fix these issues fast I can guarantee they go out of business. My advice to anyone reading this post ask for a sample before ordering this food. Food had me throwing up all night.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FOOD in this restaurant. The customer service was also top shelf, but the FOOD, OMG....my taste buds were in overdrive with every meal I have eaten at this Resturant. The ambiance was very pleasant while waiting on and enjoying the food! Please verify operating hours prior to good to the location. Highly recommend for delicious soul food!

The food was just not good.The BBQ chicken was disappoinating. The meat itself was extremely mushy, tasted like it was old and had been reheated in steam a couple of times. Even the gristle of the chicken was falling off because it was so overcooked. And baked chicken topped with barbecue sauce is NOT "bbq chicken." They did not even try to pretend that they make their own sauce or try to hide that they just pour Sweet Baby Rays on top. Literally. I watched them pour it from the bottle.The collard greens were too sweet, and the meat with them was old and chewy. (btw their menu in the restaurant spelled them as "callord". I should have walked out right then. The potato salad was watery, and resembled mashed potatoes more so than anything. The best part of the meal? The corn muffin that I am pretty sure was just Jiffy mix. Soul food... seriously?

My chicken leg came with a broken leg and looked disgusting, I just threw it away. The macaroni and cheese was made with Velveeta, which isn't a problem but why did it taste like nothing but Velveeta and season salt? It was so much salt, I could have passed out. The yams are from the purple can and jazzed up. The potato salad had everything in it but a potato.On top of the customer service being trash.I'm so disappointed. I love supporting Black business but that'll be the last $25 they'll get from me.

GROSS, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! McDonald's is better than this. When I tell you this was a complete waste of $15. The Mac is not homemade it tastes like box Kraft Mac and cheese. The chicken was so burnt and disgusting I could not get past the look of it to even eat it. This is EXTREMELY disappointing because I love supporting black owned businesses, but y'all got to do better!!!! Just go home and cook cause this was not it!!!
