This is a laid-back spot with really great food and pastries! The chicken and waffles were very tasty and the complimentary chips and salsa make you feel right at home. Coupled with pleasant customer service, you will not be disappointed with making a stop here.
Had the UBE pancakes (shared). Too heavy for one person. It was delicious!I am annoyed that their tipping on an after tax basis. They should have that on the machine when you are paying because you only find out after they print the receipt(see bottom). I find this misleading and it ruins my experience. For all if you who keep skipping your receipts, see this how you find out these things.

The food is always great, and the service is usually very prompt. The manager is very hands on, and I've seen her walking the dining room on multiple occasions. There's definitely some cleanliness stuff that should be looked at, specifically the stuff that's left on the table condiment wise. The pepper shakers look like they've never been cleaned, and the bottles of hot sauce have clearly just been refilled over time instead of eventually replacing them.
