“Quick easy yummy food. Great lunch spot never been there for dinner but they also have a bar making margaritas. Very nice inside. Cute simple. The tacos are my favorite taco salad is OK and I haven't tried anything else other than that but I'll be back.“
“The staff are really friendly. The menu has plenty of choices, but it does state "please no changes" - which really means no substitutions, removing something because you don't eat it is fine.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: On the ground level, easy access“
“Such a great vibe. Our first time trying it out. It's a lil spot that is ran by a husband and wife which is a beautiful thing. The food is so good and the wife really gets to know you and makes you comfortable. She's so sweet and funny and the husband gets down with his food. We had the lengua tacos, carne asada tacos, lengua torta and a carne asada burrito. The sauces were a perfect spice to our meal. We will definitely be back again.“
“Food is great - I love that you can get pozole here every day of the week and not just on weekends. Their birria is great, but my husband loves their camarones diablo. The staff is so friendly and have great attitudes. Our go to spot for Mexican food. Love their beans and rice.“
“It's been 14 years since the last time I stepped foot inside this restaurant, and it's just as good as I remember. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and the best way possible. I got myself a Super burrito and the meat was so juicy and tender that my taste buds were dancing. What thing I would recommend though is spreading out the sour cream and guacamole, because I was only able to get to that at the end of my burrito. Give it a chance, you may very well find your next spot.“
“100% recommended ? excellent place, the food is very good, the micheladas are not to mention and the service of the people is sensational, my respects to the owner, a very good person and that same plus is transmitted to his staff, thank you Fatima, thank you Aracely, every time we go They allow us to make me feel at home.“
“Came here for no meat/veggie burrito. The service was quick and friendly. I got free chips and salsa here; I really liked the fact that there is a free salsa bar here. The burrito itself was large and was great. There's a good sauce in the burrito which makes it better than other burritos in the area. The only complaint I have here is that the burrito is quite expensive. The total price after tax for a single veggie burrito was $12.60, which is not in line with the prices in the area (there are two other Mexican spots right next to this establishment, however I can't recommend one of them). All in all, I'd probably come back here because the burrito was great, but only occasionally because of the price. note: the burrito on the left side of the comparison photo is from here, the other is from a nearby establishment.“
“Their breakfast burritos are amazing!I've just moved to Livermore and I've been slowly trying more things of the menu. The chorizo and egg burrito is super good and if you want something a bit lighter get the ham and egg but don't forget to add the potatoes that makes it even better! Probably my favorite breakfast burritos near here. They have fresh OJ and I'm a sucker for that.Their chilaquiles are pretty good too.Tasty huevos rancheros.Tacos of any meat are great too, their super burritos are bomb too lately my fav has been the buche, their super quesadilla is pretty big but make sure you ask for some crema and guac though. Will be coming back to try more items. If anything this place would be my top favorite but the only thing that lacks are their chips... other than that I love this place!“
“If you're craving authentic pozole this is your spot! I love that they had the meat on the bone. The soup is a bit spicy which I loved but my kids couldn't handle it unfortunately. I like that the soup is more on the thicker side and not watery. It was door dashed and arrived hot! Perfect Sunday morning pick me up!“
“Great chips and salsa...and let's not forget the guacamole . Delicious!!! Made with fresh ingredients. I can't rave about these products enough....I'll be picking some up to bring with me to the Thanksgiving dinner I annually attend. My friends expect it now...“
“Once you know this place is the best Mexican food in Livermore, you know. There's nowhere else I'd rather go when I'm craving it. The staff are all great, salsas are amazing, and the chips are delicious too. Do yourself a favor and try this place if you haven't already!! It will be your new favorite.“
“This is our go to place for a quick dinner. Our mom loves the Chile relleno with whole beams and guacamole. I love their picadillo burrito. Friendly staff, stiff drinks, and a peaceful atmosphere. Thru the pandemic we still gave them business because they were safe and had outdoor seating as well.“
“Totally surprising from start to finish. Lovely decor, varied menu, terrific people and completely off-the-chart food. The Mac 'n' Cheese was literally from outer space. This place rocks, quite a refreshing change from the total crap tequila and hot dog disaster. You need to go here.“
“We had a group of 45 of us converge in them at the last minute. They were so accommodating. The service was excellent, and the food tasted amazing. It was way less crowded than I would expect for the quality of food and service, which worked out great for us. It was so good that several of us went back the next day before leaving town. The refried beans could be a little thicker, but they taste amazing.“
“Food was great, great portions, great taste and fast service. Atmosphere was really nice, the tables and chairs are really authentic. The bar area is very professional, and they have a happy hour. I would recommend 10/10. The Horchata has a very good taste. Salsa and chips were really good. Tge Salsa that came with the burrito had amazing taste and wasn't spicy.“
“Food was great. Haven't been to El Charro in years. Great new (well for us) location, easy in easy out, food was hot and fast. It was nice not to be rushed out after we finished our meal.Parking: Only one handicapped space and two handicapped persons needed to walk the entire lot. But food was great.“
“Great Mexican food! This place is excellent yet another good meal. Love breakfast here, my go to is the carne asada breakfast burrito.Several visits later... great staff always friendly and the food is consistent. The burritos are giant our fav is the carne asada wet super burrito.“

“Gorgeous restaurant with amazing food. Had no idea when we walked in how far back it goes! The patio area is so nice with a full bar. Food was so delicious not one thing we didn’t like. Handmade tortillas!! Even the chips are exceptional.“
“This is my new favorite Mexican food spot. The food is ALWAYS made fresh and delicious. The staff is amazing. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was amazing.
