Restaurants in Long Beach
Best Restaurants
“First time we try this place and it has become our new fav brunch/lunch spot in Long Beach right away! The food is super tasty and healthy, definitely one of the best vegan food I ever had in LA. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. To top it off, the patio tables and indoor/outdoor space make it very dog friendly which was perfect for our dog (it’s also 5min from Rosie’s beach, so very convenient!)”
“Wow!! Everything about this place was amazing. The decor, the staff, the food. Can't wait to come back. Galata Turkish Halal Grill is on the corner of Belmont and Nieto. Depending on what time you come free parking can be difficult to find. They provide indoor seating and a few tables outside as well. I came with a friend and were seated within seconds. We ordered the Galata salad, a chicken donor wrap, and a beef donor wrap. To our surprise they brought out a plate of sun-dried tomatoes in herbs and oil with some fresh warm bread to start, so good! The food we ordered was delicious. We both agreed that the beef donor wrap was our favorite of the two. As for the salad, I thought corn was an interesting topping to add but I felt that the flavors went well together. The dates and the caramelized walnuts were a nice touch. However, my friend was on the fence about it. She mentioned it was too lemony for her taste. So keep that in mind if your preference is similar to hers when ordering the Galata salad. The staff had to have been the best part of the whole experience they were all so kind and very helpful when we were not sure what to order. They even gave us complimentary pomegranate tea when we finished our food. This place is a must try in my opinion.”
“I had a lovely experience havingAfternoon Tea at Chez Bacchus. The whole presentation was wonderful and the food that isserved with the tea was exceptional. I recommend it highly.”
“Certainly, here's a draft for your review:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"Sushi Nikkei in Bixby Knolls truly stands out as a top-tier dining experience. While the food is undeniably fantastic, what truly sets this restaurant apart is the impeccable service. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of your meal is nothing short of exceptional. The sushi selection is diverse and delicious, showcasing a perfect blend of traditional Japanese flavors with innovative twists. Each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with freshness. Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or new to Nikkei cuisine, this restaurant offers an unforgettable culinary journey. I highly recommend Sushi Nikkei for an unparalleled dining experience that exceeds expectations in both food quality and service."”

“Viaje on 2nd Street in Long Beach is a delightful addition to the Mexican dining scene. From the flavorful dishes to the attentive service and inviting atmosphere, my visit was truly enjoyable. I highly recommend trying this new gem.”
“Exquisite ambience, innovative food and nice service! Went there for the dinner on Valentine’s and it was worth every penny. The dishes are really innovative and still have that touch of Indian food. Apt and balanced spices. Loved the way they have put in so much efforts in improvising the dishes.I ordered butter chicken pot pie, garlic naan, dum biryani, death by chocolate.Dessert was a 3/5 though, it wasn’t really that tasty.”

Selva
“Excellent Colombian brunch. The pork belly was crispy and well seasoned with just the right amount of fat. The selva steak and eggs plate was a great sampler of many of their dishes. The service is great and friendly. I had the carajillo coffee cocktail with brandy, which was good, but not my favorite. My other friends loved it though. Definitely recommend this place and will come again!”
Restaurants with Delivery
“This is my favorite restaurant of the year! Exceptional food and service, and I love the ambiance of being in a converted home. The menu is almost constantly changing (so plenty of temptation to go back). The first time I visited Heritage I booked a return trip as soon as I left the restaurant. Fortunately (for my bank account, if not my taste buds) I live a couple of hours away, otherwise who knows how often I'd be there.A must try!”
“Magnificent, fabulous, the most delicious sexiest pizza I’ve ever had.The service is beyond! Their soft serve is to die for. And the vibes are so cute! Will be breaking up with little coyote! Also forgot to take a photo because it was sooo good!”
“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and I've had no issues.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, flavorful too!Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and shared with a pharmacy, laundromat and discount store.”
“First time trying and definitely will be back, the food was good , customer service was great, chef came out help me out real good experience and the food again AOoonnnneeee!!! Definitely will be ”
“I highly recommend this spot for authentic Cambodian cuisine. Our group of four didn't have to wait long and there was an iPad outside for joining the waitlist for a table. There's a variety of noodle options available. We tried the Phnom Penh Noodle Special dry and soup, Beef and Meatball Noodle, Pork Rice Porridge with fried breadstick, and ordered round bread on the side. While the round bread was too dense and hard, the meat bread had too many onions. Despite the rushed service causing a couple of mistakes, the overall experience was quite good, with fast and efficient customer service. It was very hard to find parking there so we had to park in the neighborhood.”

“My favorite shop in Long Beach, and the best frittata I've ever had anywhere, ever. Seriously. The patio is cute AF.I get a cold brew growler every week, and the ricotta jam toast is so good. All of the jams are made in house or locally. The service is always flawless and kind, and they know many of their customers by name ?️⚧️?️?”

“This hole in the wall in an old smallish strip mall is a true gem. Wonderful food, presentation and service. Their prices bring me back to the year 2010’s. Definitely a place I will visit again and recommend to family and friends. And good coffee – it tasted well without sugar or cream!”
“2024 is the bar's 100th anniversary. Go in if you have never been or have not been in awhile. Classic Long Beach bar that is world famous. Great atmosphere. Cash only though.”

The Attic
“Had brunch here with some friends and had such a great time! The servers were all super kind, the prices were pretty decent, and there was indoor and outdoor seating with heaters. I know buying avocado toast out is basic, but the avocado was packed on thick and seasoned so well! It was $13 and adding eggs was only $2. With my double cappuccino, tax and tip, I spent $30. The atmosphere was cute, it wasn’t too loud to hear each other, and there wasn’t much of a wait since they have a lot of seating. It’s located on a street that seemed to have some other stores and whatnot. The food was rich and has southern influences. Next time I go I’m trying either the ricotta French toast or eggs Benedict which comes with shrimp. My friend got the BEC which was a beautiful LARGE hash brown topped with eggs and herbs. Definitely recommend this spot!”
“We went here for dinner tonight with 4 adults and two small children and I can’t recommend it enough. The space is very cool, the service was extremely nice and the food was incredible. I would especially recommend the ceviche mercado and the flan.”

Osaka story
“The sushi here is to die for!!!! We moved about 45 minutes away and when ever we crave sushi we will make the drive. I have yet to find a sushi restaurant near me that comes even close to Osaka Story! My husband and I make sure we come once a month. My husband love the quality, atmosphere, customer service, and the amazing people that work here. Thank you Reyna and the rest of Osaka story crew!”
Outdoor Dining
“Hella Great smash burgers! Orange Cream soda was perfection. Nice day sitting on the patio watching guys shank their tees off the first tee box Owner wants to make sure everything is perfect. We will be back.”
“A must for your "to-do" list. Conveniently located on Long Beach's Promenade the Ordinarie Tavern boasts some of the best artisan Cocktails and a finely curated menu that will make it a staple in your wheelhouse.”

“Very good place to get breakfast and josue is the best waiter. Josue Betancourt has always been a very kind, courteous, and gracious worker. Serves gus customers with the utmost respect. Love gis service. Giving him a rise would be a great reward if it was in my power to so.”
“Mireya our server was amazing, she made sure everything was right, she was busy with many tables but I seen that all her tables left happy and she always came back to make sure we didn’t need anything else”

“Extremely cool spot in Long Beach. Ciders I tried were remarkably good, especially the "figgy" one!Parking: Parking on the street is difficult, but I parked in the Roscoe's lot without a problem.”

“We adored the brunch selections they had to offer. The service was swift, and our server was exceptionally pleasant and knowledgeable. He patiently answered all of our questions. The cucumber kale lemonade was simply delightful! I appreciated that they offered to bring out a different lemonade if it didn't suit my taste.Furthermore, they have a charming outdoor area where you can bring your furry companion along!”
“It was busy at the store today. Donna wasn't there today to help me at the self check out register. She is patient with me, and helps when ever she is able. Thankfully, i only had 3 items. Whew! No matter how busy, she always welcomes me with a smile.”
“One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Long Beach.Every bite takes me back to Italy. ?Carbonara and Romana Pizza it’s my favorite.Great service and Great staff. Expect to wait if you’re having dining in on a weekend.Worth the wait!”
“I've heard about Little Coyote for a while, and I wanted to give them a try. I ordered their Italian sub sandwich. It was the best I've ever had. The meat portions were very generous, and with their seasoning, put it over the top. $15 plus tax, it was worth it (made two meals out of it). I'll be returning to explore more of their menu.”
“I keep coming back to V-Burger because there's so much to love: delicious burgers, wonderful sides, crunchy salt on the fries, a great selection of drinks, friendly service, and a kickass punk rock atmosphere. V-Burger is all killer, no filler.”
“One of my favorite sushi restaurants in LBC. A novel spin on traditional sushi, the Peruvian flavors add another dimension without overdoing it. Recommend you try the dusty roll! Amazing service too.”
“St Patty's Day such a blast! Listening to great live music Totally packed, standing room only. $10 to get in, still after a few pints of Guinness so much fun It was worth it!! ??”

“Elevated food and ambience but keeps it very grounded with authentic styles and dishes. Amazing cocktails and easy to spend several hours here getting food and drinks.”
“Best place to have German food. The food is authentic and delicious. Great selection of beers and great food. Big, hearty portions, friendly service. The pork shank was tender and had a rich gravy. The schnitzel’s wild mushroom sauce is great and has great flavor. The pork is not dry and the light breading makes a good texture. I wished that the mashed potatoes and wild mushroom sauce were served hot, but it was still delicious.”
“I love this place. The staff, the food, and the PIES- OMG. No one makes a cherry pie like Jongewaard's so, I travel from the San Francisco area for cherry pie.”
“We came for lunch to avoid the dinner rush. It was perfect timing. We're also vegetarian so we tried several of their vegan/vegetarian options. They have an extensive menu and tons of options. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. Our waiter was helpful and friendly. Our favorite were the scallion pancakes and the ramen. It was a bit spicy for us, even though we asked for mild, but it was so delicious. Portions are huge. We took half home, but we're excited to have leftovers.”

“We had two types of oysters, which were quite good. The lobster roll was good, but expensive for the size. The wine pours (for $14 each) seemed light, but maybe it was just the short ridiculous water glass they serve in. My biggest issue was the service. The server was inattentive, and the entrees were very slow to come out. $200 for two people. Not sure it measures up to that.”
“As their place is on the smaller size, we opted to do carry out since we were going for a saturday dinner. It wasn't a long wait and we reheated in the oven as soon as we got home. We got both Thai Curry and Tom Yum and both were SO good. Would totally come back for this again!”
“Make sure you make reservations in advanced or be ready to wait an hour at least during dinner times. Great area to walk around and plenty of bars to grab a drink while you wait. Parking will be tough so make sure you give yourself extra time and may the odds be ever in your favor...If it's your first time get the bacon deviled eggs, prime rib dip with mac & cheese and finish it off with their butter cake. Trust.Dinner here comes to around $40-$50/person but well worth for any special occasion.Shoutout to Christian who provided awesome service during our dinner.”
“I absolutely love this restaurant. They have live music (eg. Pianist, jazz band) The service is always exceptional. The food is extraordinary. Has a very romantic scenic view of the ocean and the Queen Mary.”
“Went to Taboon for dinner as we live in the area and have been meaning to go. The food is amazing and the portions are amazing. We got the lamb kebab plate and the chicken shwarma plate. Also don't forget the Baklava!”
“I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.”
“Very impressed with this spot, server was great, food was amazing, you're greeted by the kitchen when you walk in. Food came out at a nice speed and hot sake was nice on a rainy day.Vegetarian options: Most items can be made without meatParking: Roughly 30 parking a spots. Also street parking availableWheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and ramp”
“This was a most delightful late lunch here today in great part due to the exceptionally hospitable and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant's interior is traditionally regal and cozy however we opted to eat in their spacious outside eating area on this beautiful afternoon. No regality was lost by being outside for we were in the care of Gilberto, our wonderful principle waiter. He understood our every need and pampered us like one seldom encounters in Long Beach. We began with an Old Sicilian cocktail. It's probably fortunate the photo didn't come out else I'd be shamelessly punning the caption, but most importantly it was delicious with quite a punch. The crab cake appetizer, also delicious, was followed by the best hamburger that I've ever had and that includes any produced from my kitchen (I consider that to be the highest praise). Bf gave me a taste and there is no question that I will be ordering this next time. For a special treat, Gilberto presented us with a beautiful crème brûlée. When requiring a flawless dining experience, this is perfection, They are Masters of their craft.”
“Very good but certainly not exceptional. Ambiance is beautiful. Service is okay, and impersonal granted it was busy but still. Food certainly good but pricey and can't justify main plates being served without sides and bread.”
“Cute little wine bar in downtown Long Beach. We made reservations and a table was set aside for us, which was a plus! We tried several wines that were not very good. We asked for some suggestions, and the waitress recommended some pretty good wine tastings. We did not eat any food, as the menu was very limited. Parking is difficult.... Due to being on the street and metered.”

“Came here with my friends after Sake2Me had closed down their waitlist, but honestly I don't regret it one bit. We had a great time here with their service and quality of fish! The AYCE Sushi price here is $42.99 for the regular menu options. I honestly think that's enough choices for that price. Food takes a bit to come out and comes out sporadically. The quality of the fish was enough to make it worth it. We gobbled up every round so quick! I have to come back here whenever I'm craving good sushi in LB.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“I really like this joint. Such great hours and impressive variety. People are nice here and it's got a cheery atmosphere. You can totally get down and show off here. When I go here, I like to show off. I like to be myself. I like to be different. I like when other people are different too. I like when people enjoy laughing. I like when we smile at ourselves and others.”
“When I drove up to the parking lot, there was an employee out front sweeping and cleaning as I walked into the restaurant. It was absolutely spotless. The men’s room was cleaned. The dining area was clean. The kitchen workers were working hard, and it was clean very impressed with detail.”
“Our waiter was very helpful and very professional. FriendlyExcept for the cook, he was complaining to the waiter and didn't care if the customers hear his nasty talkOverall, food was great and will definitely come back”
“Love this subway. The main reason I like this store are the people. You can tell the owner cares and wants create a good experience. I go out of my way to buy at this store. The prices are better at this store as well.”
“The build your tacos of Birria is our go to from this place. My grandmother who is 92 and a harsh critic is in love with the recipe. She says it's just like her abuelita made. We feed a family of 4 easily and the hearty rice and beans and salsas are so tasty. We love how you take the time to individually packaged everything. We try to order 2 times a month. Thank you for being our go to place for the best Birria in town..”
“Thank you to the Amazing Woman who took my order around 330p in the drivethru. You are amazing. Thank you! You made my evening with your professionalism. After my experience at Von's at the traffic circle your kindness changed my disappointment.Thank you. And my food was perrrrfect .”
“Their French Fries ? are a classic for me! ? They're always Fresh & Hot! ? That's usually all I go for but today, I tried the Birria Ramen and it was just okay... ?? Nothing to write home about. ✍️ Tried it, wasn't impressed, won't be ordering that again.”
“I always order using the app, I think this is the only McDonald that I don’t have to wait when I get in it doesn’t matter how busy they are. My order will be ready. Love it.”
“Alicia and staff the crew on 11/16/23 ? Customer service was perfect. I had multiple orders for me and my Coworkers. Even with 3 cars in the drive-thru...she was respectful didn't rush me and put the receipts in the bags of all the orders. All 4 of my orders were correct. Food was good also thanks to the cook.”

“Tonia is a very well spoken and hard worker. For being a fast paced environment she is dedicated and keeps the restaurant clean. She wears multiple hats and is very energetic.”

Takeout Restaurants
“Before traveling to L.A. I googled best places to eat. Tacos LA Carreta was one of the suggestions. So after a full day of activities we decided to give it a try. Thank goodness we did! Best Tortas and tacos I ever had!! We will definitely make this a go-to for sure.”
“The cookies: We tried Ube, Churrodoodle, Sprinkles and Cookie & Cream. Perfect texture and the perfect balance between crispiness and chewiness. Satisfying crunch giving way to a soft, melt-in-your-mouth center. These are definitely gourmet cookies! The Brownie bites: Although we love the bite size idea I hope they add on regular size brownies. Our favorite and one of the reasons we keep coming for more Foodologie is the Ube & Cream brownie. The shop is super cute and the staff extremely friendly!”
“The food and service at the new location are just as wonderful as the original location. I look forward to more of my favorite dishes coming over. For now, I am enjoying trying new dishes and the lunch specials are a great deal. The team members are extremely friendly/inviting, and I always enjoy their recommendations.”
“The food is always good at this location. I felt the staff was friendly and helpful. This is one of my top restaurants to go to as the price is fair. For what you get and quality is great. The turkey and chicken sandwiches are great. The steak is very good. Mashed potatoes are great.”
“I went to dinner at Azucar last Friday, and the place was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, the server was attentive and kind, and the place had an overall charm that made it perfect for a night out. I would highly recommend checking out this hidden gem before it becomes crazy popular.”
“The food here was good. Could be a bit expensive though. The Tai tea is good here, better than other places. It looks like there is only a couple tables outside to eat.”
“Egg Heaven is reopened and good as ever! My partner and I had breakfast at Egg Heaven Cafe the other day and it was worth the wait for them to re-open. The place was pretty busy and we had to wait a little bit to be seated but, it was worth the wait. The waitresses were ALL very friendly, there were lots of food selections, including vegetarian and, the food was very good! If you're looking for a hidden neighborhood 'go to' restaurant, this is your place.”
“A lovely place with delicious food. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. We ordered a large serving of their Believe Stew to go, it was that good (and it comes on most of the dishes on this menu).Generally Caribbean, they have a wide variety of salads, bowls, and tacos. Definitely worth trying their menu here. This faces a parking lot that is extremely busy. Looking for parking at some times of day might be difficult.”
“I've been a bit under the weather and I needed some spicy soup to help me get better. Sophy's is one of my favorites and it hit the spot. Ordered more food so hubby could be fed. He was very happy with his choices. The food was so delicious, timing was great, and service was wonderful as always. I've been going to Sophy's since they were originally located on Anaheim. Also, potions are generous, we have enough for at least 4 more meals.”
“Loved everything about this place. Great service, most amazing sushi, lovely music, large portions, and super well priced. Can’t highly recommend this place enough.”
“Tables were filled, but I managed to find a seat. Got a matcha latte, a grey earl tea tart (Heart shaped, very cute), and a strawberry tart (Very good), the barista made my drink very quickly. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, I could see doing my homework here or reading here in the future.”
“A perfect place to enjoy a romantic sunset on the beach! They have an open air patio as well as a covered patio. The drinks are awesome -- I recommend the Hef Leppard Hefeweizen lol! We got their incredible ceviche, the garlic butter clams, and buffalo wings. All were amazing and the atmosphere was chill and relaxed. Very kind wait staff!”
“Just the best folks serving perfectly prepared coffee and food at high level and very fairly priced. Something for everyone and space to sit down. I’m grateful for this spot.”
“Hiden gem that has a good following. Do not be fooled by the simple informal prémisses this place has amazing food. The reviews that this is authentic food are not overdone, this is a rare find not only in LA but on the west coast as one needs to look for fine dining choices to get this close. The diversity of dishes will be a surprise if you are expecting a pita shop, this is not your run of the mill Gyro store.”
“Came on a Friday afternoon. Found 30 min parking out front. Greeted by friendly staff who allowed me time to look over their pretty simple menu. ORDERED: + pollo burrito ($10.50) -- 9/10 some pieces of pollo meat in the burrito gave beefy jerky texture vibes, but other than that it had really good flavor. + bean and cheese burrito ($9.25) -- 10/10 "it was delicious" is what I was told. + iced tea Ran $22 dollars with tip! OVERALL: Prices are reasonable for the portion size. I would like to see consistency in the cooking of their meat. Lastly, I would return again if I were in the area and try other menu items.”
“Great location: Cafe + pizza all in one. The pizza is really delicious and it happens to be vegan). It's thick crust pizza, so it's more filling. Extremely satisfying. Street parking is limited and can be tricky.”
“I went to dinner at Azucar last Friday, and the place was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, the server was attentive and kind, and the place had an overall charm that made it perfect for a night out. I would highly recommend checking out this hidden gem before it becomes crazy popular.”
“Food - 10/10 the pizza was delicious! Unfortunately when we came he didn't have much of the sandwiches because he sold out fast. I will definitely be back to try the other stuff. The drinks were good as well! PB&JAY protein shake was filing! And the Romeo and Juliet mimosa was sweet and savory! Service - fast, friendly, and efficient Ambiance - I love the ambiance! Indoor and outdoor seating. Love the decor inside and outside as well!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“So first of all the pork chops are a must soft tender but well crusted and well seasoned outside with jalapeño and garlic just yummy. Another favorite is the mangolian beef cooked to perfection the goes perfect with white rice . I've dined in and the service is ok what i really liked is that all food comes out together and the restaurant feels warm inviting and very family like.”
“Food was great like every other location. Unfortunately when I ordered 11 meals w/drinks in the dining room, I was told they couldn't assist me with filling? I guess that's just policy.”
“Every Theon was great Food was hot and fresh the price was great! 10 bucks for double cheeseburger fries and drinks. The customer service was out of this world great! Greetings with a smile making the guest feel welcome. Kudos to all the employees! Worked like. Well oiled Ship ?❣️”
“Visiting from out of town and found this place. Needed vegetarian options and they definitely have some. Had egg and soy chorizo burrito and fruit cup. It was delicious. Great service, busy but still attentive. Bought a tofu and soy chorizo wrap with homemade chips to have later on and it was great too. Definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch.”
“Wow that was way better than I hoped for.Chips and salsa, dark red sauce is a spicy bitter affair and the green sauce is a green aioli IE. egg yolks, olive oil, garlic and a bunch of secret things. It's crack in a ramikin. The rest was more than note worthy. Highly ”
“Pulled up in the drive through really quick for some breakfast for the road I ordered the bacon and eggs with avocado sandwich and it was good and they didn't take long at all I also got a large coffee food was good”
“Trademark Brewery earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars in my book. What sets this place apart is its strong community focus and the plethora of themed events they host, including watch parties, paint nights, and more. It's evident that they're deeply rooted in their local community, which adds to the charm of the brewery. One thing to note is that while they don't have a food menu, they make up for it by inviting guest food vendors to set up in their parking lot. It's a great concept, but be prepared for potential wait times as most vendors take a while to prepare your food. My advice? Order as soon as you arrive or consider bringing your own snacks to tide you over.Speaking of amenities, the brewery allows outside food, making it convenient for patrons. However, outside drinks are a no-go, so keep that in mind. Additionally, parking is relatively hassle-free, with both street parking and a dedicated parking lot just a block away.Inside, the brewery is spacious and dog-friendly, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends, including the furry ones. The clean restrooms and ample TVs add to the overall comfort and convenience of the space.Overall, Trademark Brewery offers a fantastic community-driven experience with a variety of themed events, ample space, and inviting ambiance. While the lack of a food menu may be a minor inconvenience, the brewery more than makes up for it with its vibrant atmosphere and welcoming vibe. It's definitely worth checking out for a laid-back evening with friends and good drinks.”
“The most delicious, freshly prepared, juicy, well seasoned chicken breast sandwich I've ever had! It was great. At first, I thought it was burned because it was a really dark brown. But that's because it was saturated in seasoning. I chose the hot one and it was hot! Took a few minutes to sink in. The sauce that came with it looks like thousand island dressing but doesn't taste like it. Kinda hard to describe the taste except it Kinda cools down the intense heat and pairs well with the chicken. I really enjoyed my sandwich and I'll be back.Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower wings substitute for chicken”
“For great burgers and fries at cheaper prices than ANY OTHER fast food joint, you gotta go there.Kid-friendliness: They give the kiddos a sheet of stickers and a cardboard cutout to stick the stickers on. My daughter is 6 and LOVES it.”
“This place is usually always crowded! I feel this is one of the locations that's on the smaller side inside. It was a particularly windy day, so no one was really sitting outside making it extra crowded inside. As always, I love the consistency of getting an In n Out burger. This time around I ordered combo #1 with extra lettuce. It was a great-looking and even more so delicious-tasting burger!”
“Their burgers, sodas, and fries are so good! The "chicken" nuggets taste more like beer battered fish. I brought one of my meat eating friends here, and she genuinely thought it was real meat.Vegetarian options: The fake meat is so good!”
“Idk if they have new management because I went about a year ago and it was trash. But now, damn, it's been hitting the spot every time!! Double cheeseburger and fries were fresh and hot and they give you a sauce, off top!! Cashier was super nice as well. Yeah, they're definitely back on my " go to"burger list!”
“I love there box combo options my go too is the taco box there super goodParking: They have a small lot so fills fast and there's street parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Flat sidewalk access”
“I ordered a pozole and I didn't like it. It didn't have a backbone or pork trotters, they just added very dry meat. Not like that ?. And the girl who arrives the earliest is the one who makes the little cubes of beans that they give you as soon as your food arrives.Be careful ? get your batteries.”
“Love the Service that Odalis gave me especially the food was delicious I recommend everyone to come and enjoy the double western burgerParking: Lots of space in the parking lotKid-friendliness: Love that I could bring my kids to have lunch and breakfast”

@Sushi
“We recently moved to Lakewood. Normally we have sushi in J-Town or Torrance, but we don't really want to drive too far. We had sushi at a spot in Lakewood a month ago, but it was terrible. A relative recommended this place, and I have to say, I was skeptical. Anyway, we came at around 7:30pm on a Saturday. Parking was not too easy, but luckily we found street parking nearby. The interior is really well done. We could immediately tell that there is major customer loyalty, since I believe it is the owner that greets everyone and there were a lot of regulars. The servers are very friendly and attentive. I was very surprised that they had a great selection of fish (great fish) and even had ankimo (monkfish liver) and natto (fermented soybeans) too. The salmon skin salad also is the best salad I have ever had! We loved everything about this really great place and definitely will be back soon!”
“Went to Taboon for dinner as we live in the area and have been meaning to go. The food is amazing and the portions are amazing. We got the lamb kebab plate and the chicken shwarma plate. Also don't forget the Baklava!”

“Fantastic banh mi, I've tried their classic number 1, Dac Biet, and also the pork belly bath mi. Both good, but the Dac Biet is always my favorite. Lee's Sandwhich was my go-to but this is the first banh mi place I've had that tops Lee's I'm quality at the arpund the same price.”
“Love this very fun themed long beach bar! The special drinks are all very tasty and not simply variations on the standards. The bartenders know their stuff. And a great list of mocktails to include everyone in the fun! Live music is a plus!”
“Just Tried their Funnel Cake Best funnel cakes they are huge and delicious I got the Regulr Funnel Cake with strawberries ,vanilla ICream psugar the 2nd one is the Cookies & Cream with Vanilla ICream they are amazing as always we love coming here. Great Customer Service always”
“Favorite place local to me!! Good quality of food and service AND really GOOD PRICES for amount plus quality of food!! I love this place. Zucchini fries are a must too”
“Food is great! My first experience here was 4th of july 2023. I knew they would be busy, so i called hours ahead for my pick up order and when i got there it wasn't ready because my ticket was buried under other orders and was missed. So i had to wait additional time for my food, per why i ordered ahead. Smdh. And my portions was small!!Second time around, i wanted to try chicken but they were out. The guy that took my order seemed like he didnt want to be there, no smile, no greeting, just no customer service skills what so ever. Food came out fast, bigger portions this time. Just dont know why both times bbq sauce was in my greens, i dont like that.”
“People that give low star reviews to places because “the line is too long” or “I couldn’t find parking” are annoying. Are you expecting a coffee shop to be empty in the morning??The drinks and food are great, the staff is friendly. 5 stars.”
“Ordered the Katsu Butter Chicken and Spam Brûlée Musubi through UberEATS for delivery around 2 P.M on a Weekday. Food was delivered quickly and hot. They packaged it neatly and provided some napkins and utensils as well! Great service although I can’t speak for the atmosphere.Would definitely recommend the musubi for anyone who likes sweet and salty combinations! The katsu is okay but was a little too oily for me.”
“Some of the best coffee I’ve had in SoCal (and in general). Love supporting local coffee shops, especially ones with great service.Dietary restrictions: Non Dairy options available.”
“this place was AMAZING little small but it's a nice little spot. BUT! the food was absolutely delicious probably the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had and the pesto raviolis holy crap to freaking die for the lady at the counter was super nice and helpful and The food came out quick would Recommend all my friends and family and all food love to try immediately thankyou so much to all the staff for and amazing experience and amazing food”
“Nice quaint family restaurant, great service, awesome menu and food, generous drinks, and warm, friendly atmosphere. It's always a pleasure to dine or take out.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor, no steps.”
“SO GOOD!!! My families FAV! The variety of sushi is just what I always want on a Friday night. We beg our mom and dad to get it. Great pick-up too. Recommend spicy tuna or edamame. Every time we get super exited to eat this Yummy sushi”
“One of my favorite places to stop for dessert. The soft serve is great, and who doesn't love Nutella filled waffle? Everyone has been super friendly and quick when we've stopped through.”
“After living in Europe for 5 years I’ve been missing the bakery with in house made things, but I’m so glad I found this cafe because they have the best muffins I’ve ever had. Not dry at all. Everything else in their bakery I’ve been eyeballing because it looks just as good as the muffins, so I can’t wait to order other things too. Their pastries are a good size, too. And I’m also reliant on good coffee, and find myself craving the chocolate mocha I got from there both times. It’s not too sweet or bitter, it’s just perfect with a great texture. Will be returning frequently. It seems like a good spot to work on the laptop in too.”
“High five to Linda's for another great dish! This morning was the menudo and it was pretty much perfect! Only thing missing was a piece of of pata but not sure if they offer here and I forgot to ask. Can't wait to come back and try a different dish. So far all their caldos/soups have been amazing!!! Cute little family run restaurant! #eatlocal”
“Absolutely humongous sizes! I always get the strawberry milk tea with no tea, so it's kind of like strawberry milk. It's very sweet, so I recommend asking for it less sweet. Their boba also always comes out super fresh,s o it is very warm at the bottom of your boba cup.”
“The Vintage is a total hidden gem! I can't believe I lived in LB for so long and hadn't discovered it. This is the perfect 1-2x weekly (or more!) drop in spot. Vanessa the owner is just incredible as is her staff. Her quality selections of meat, cheese, wine and speciality products are incredible to go. One of my favorite parts of the shop was the experience of dining in. They have an incredible menu perfect for a weeknight refresh or weekend out with friends. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back asap!”
“What a hidden gem! Ample parking and a beautiful space. Who would've known there's a great spot in this business area? Service was awesome! And everyone was very friendlThe drink menu was so diverse and they even have large batch cocktails to go. The food menu has something for everyone. I liked that there was breakfast and pastries along with lunch items. We got two bloody Mary's, a cold brew, salad, soup, burger and sandwich. Which came out to about $80ish before tips. Everything was so good! I want to go back to try more.”
“Our server, Vanessa L, was exceptional. She was really customer-oriented, attentive, charismatic and had a radiant smile. The whole wheat pancakes topped with berries were decent. I never had whole wheat pancakes but I figured I give it a try. Overall, my dining experience left me completely satisfied due to the outstanding service provided.”

Liv's
“We had two types of oysters, which were quite good. The lobster roll was good, but expensive for the size. The wine pours (for $14 each) seemed light, but maybe it was just the short ridiculous water glass they serve in. My biggest issue was the service. The server was inattentive, and the entrees were very slow to come out. $200 for two people. Not sure it measures up to that.”
“Hadn’t been here in years. Have no idea why I’ve deprived myself of such great food!! Can’t beat the sunrise roll. Albacore sashimi was fresh and buttery. Staff was friendly and quick to seat and serve us. Love the art on the wall. Even background music was enjoyable. Great place for date night. Def adding back to our date night list!”
“THE BEST SUSHI IN LBC. Hands down, this place is an absolute gem! The Aburj & Miso Salmon melts in your mouth & the Yellowtail is next level. Service is excellent & I really can't recc this place enough. DELICIOUS!”
“The food is still spectacular I have been coming here since my friend brought me back in 2013. I obviously have my favorites, but I've tried a good majority of the plates and I'm never disappointed. A total of 4 of us came with my 2yr old that fell asleep. Without even asking the staff accommodated us by seating us in the enclosed outdoor area (it's quieter there than inside) and turned on the heater without being asked. Extremely attentive staff checking in on us (we never felt forgotten outside). If you need sushi recommendations we had the Call Me Babe, Earthquake, Dragon Tear, and non spicy garlic edamame all options are delicious.”
“Everything here was chef’s kiss! My visit was in person and I ordered the Beets Me Burger! The Beets Me burger was so delicious and I loved the fact that it was made from mushrooms and beets. The flavor was amazing and the brioche bun was nicely toasted. I ordered the Biscuit Bomb and through UberEats and it is The Bomb! The biscuit was nice and soft and all of the flavors paired well together. The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup did not disappoint! I will definitely be back for another visit whenever I’m in this area!”
“Came to visit last night. The pizza was delicious, perfect! My companion enjoyed the beer. It was karaoke night and the place had a very welcome, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is a great neighborhood spot where you feel comfortable, have good food, good beer, a good time and leave satisfied. The man who runs this place is a good support to his community. Thank You!”

Cafe Gazelle
“Best Italian food in area. Very homemade atmosphere. Rapid service due to small size and need for quick table turnovers. Not a great place if you plan on spending 3 hours to chat.”

“My first time in Thai District and I felt in love with that place. Walking distance from DTLB. Great food! The whole experience was perfect. Highly recommended!”
“Came here from L. A. JUST for the Kabocha squash bisque, which I literally CRAVE! Heart skipped a beat when I learned it's not usually served until dinner- but It WAS READY! Yeeeaah me! Eating one serving here, and taking a few home for a few days during the week! It's worth the long drive!!!”
“I love their food! They have the BEST flavors and the soups, salads, and all of the dishes are my favorites! The service is friendly and there are long-time employees because it is family owned. They also own K Pasta in the same center and also delicious!”

Sushi Mafia
“AMAZING EXPERIENCE!We came from Utah and don’t get super fresh sushi often; and it was INCREDIBLE. Service was so good, we didn’t catch his name but the man who sat our group down was so kind!”
“The food here is fantastic! This is fine dining. Sophisticated dishes. Full bar. This is not a place to if you want a quick bite. This is a dining experience.Great place for birthdays.Perfect for entertaining out of town guests. Every dish is exceptional. The waiters are professional and attentive.I recommend this restaurant.”
“Delicious food and great atmosphere. The chef often spoke with the tables. He was also very engaged with his staff. You can tell they like and respect him. We highly recommend.”
“We discovered this place about a year ago when shopping at Lazy Acres. It was busy on our first visit but no surprise for a Sunday around noon. We don't eat burgers often, but my wife and I were both in the beef mood. Had their basic burger and it was nothing short of AMAZING. Went back there this past Wednesday and we both ordered their double burger Fuego style. Even more AMAZING! Excellent beef flavor, hot and spicy ghost pepper cheese and the "Familiar Sauce" has a great bite as well. The place was just as busy on a Wednesday night as it was at Sunday lunch. Obviously, a neighborhood favorite.Check it out next time you're in the area. You'll not be disappointed.”
“We were celebrating my friend birthday and it was raining that morning even we had reservation for outdoor brunch. They sat us upstairs at the Library room. It was amazing, very private and intimate atmosphere. The food is great and the amount of choices for Bloody Mary is very good.We love this place! The view outside is amazing!”
“What a great random surprise, was on a bike ride on the trail and needed a bite to eat to make it back to Shoreline Village, Devin in the little market next door made this a great choice to stop and eat.”
“Always a great experience when we return here.Great Service & quality of food is on point.Must haves "chicken Apple walnut & goat cheese" , wow you won't be disappointed. After eating Salad & feeling healthy then go for the "We are open Sundays Fried Chicken Sandwich"Enjoy”
“All the staff were so professional. Steak and veggies were perfection. Wide range of adult beverages to enjoy with meal.Parking: City parking lot. Restaurant will validate parking ticket for reduced rate.Wheelchair accessibility: Great access to both inside and outside dining.”
“As a seafood restaurant, the seafood is indeed very fresh! And the waiters are very friendly and helpful, making the whole dining experience very enjoyable…This time I ordered...❤️Shrimp cream pastaThe shrimps are very solid and delicious, and they are not stingy. The shells are completely removed and they are very convenient to eat! The sauce is well prepared. It’s not greasy and you can easily finish a whole portion!❤️Clam Qiaoda SoupIn fact, I think Asians might be less accustomed to the Qiaoda soup here... because it's a bit too salty! If you don’t eat it with bread or other things, it feels a bit too strong! When you come to the store, you can also choose to order fish steak or lobster directly! The lobster sandwich ordered by a friend was great~”
“First Timer to a Ramen restaurant and as one should asked about the menu and customer favorites. Service was very helpful, very busy and staff were pleasant. I chose customer favorite and enjoyed it with warm sake. Entree was sufficient but many other tables had starters. I believe I would return to try another dish. 5pm is before the rush, we sat at 6pm and inside sitting was packed.”

The 908
“Came here on a recommendation. We wanted a place to eat and have a few cocktails. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outside patio has heaters. There were also several large groups. Our waitress was incredibly helpful. We had Brussel sprouts to start. Ordered the halibut and the seabass. The pistachio tiramisu wasn’t quite what we expected and didn’t finish it.”
“We have frequented Louies on 2nd in the Belmont Shore community of Long Beach CA several times. We have enjoyed the food, service and location. The patio is great to sit, eat, drink and enjoy the people watching. What a great place to soak in the sun and fill your tummy with delicious food. See you there soon.”
“Great dining experience! The restaurant is so well designed and trendy. The food was fresh, delicious, and truly memorable! Service was very quick and our waitress was so kind and accommodating. We had a delicious dinner and even our doggy enjoyed his time here. Will surely be back!”

Yard House
“I had an amazing experience at Yard House! The food was delicious, and the portions were huge - great value for money. The service was exceptional, and our blonde waitress was the absolute 'bizz' - attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. I was impressed by the variety on the menu and the quality of the dishes. If you're looking for a fantastic meal with excellent service, Yard House is the place to go. Highly recommended!”
“I am really new to the vegan world! But my daughter has made the change and committed. I took her to The Grain for her birthday. The place is very welcoming, the service is excellent. The food is wonderful to say the least! Can't wait to get back for more of the the exciting fare. The menu being quite extensive, cpmpleted with a very tasty dessert selection. And, they also have a Seperate offering of Authentic Oaxacan food, very quaint. Long time in the community. Look them up”
“The wine selection is great. They also have a wine club with monthly selections. They also have a menu with some snacks to enjoy with your wine. Occasionally they have live music as well. Love this cozy neighborhood place.”
“Loved!! Came with my husband for the first time and left satisfied. I had the baby gem, and the lamb chops, and both were yummy. Ordered both a pineapple, and espresso martini and both were yummy as well. Service and ambiance were both top notch, and for as many tables as there are, the whole experience felt super intimate. I will be visiting again!”
“The meat selection could’ve been more expanded but overall the quality was there. Cooked to perfection and the buffet bar needs more hot dishes than just pasta and salad. Great place for a first date if you’re not cheap, a family reunion or a dinner to splurge on at least twice a month if you’re on a budget. Again it isn’t inexpensive and I’d definitely go back ❤️ The price of the meal, drinks, dessert and tip the total for 3 adults was a total of $300. Highly recommend this place ?”
“I have been *quite* delinquent at keeping up with converting review drafts to actual reviews - but I feel especially bad seeing this one un-posted still, given it was just in the local news last week, they're putting their popup on temporary-but-indefinite pause because it wasn't getting enough business... hopefully they do reopen, ideally in a proper space, because their bbq is *great*. I hadn't ever been to their now-closed official popup location, but after having heard how great they were for the previous year, I finally had a chance to try them over the summer, at the Beachwood anniversary event. I loved that I was able to buy meat in quarter-pound increments, so I could try two of my favorite bbq meats, brisket and pulled pork. The pulled pork was great; the brisket was probably the best brisket I've had from a bbq place in Long Beach (it's still not Franklin, but *nothing* is Franklin). I also tried their mac & cheese - they only had one size, for $8, but that size was *large*. The mac & cheese was also great. Seriously friendly people, too, so I really hope they succeed in their quest for a brick-and-mortar spot. (And that the quality is as good once they do, both so I don't have to give them a worse review later, and because I would like to have that brisket again! And because they're great people and they deserve to succeed, of course.)”
“It's been a couple of years since I last visited. Kudos on the much larger space! The staff are very nice, the beers are outstanding. Everything is on point. Comfortable seating, nice long bar, TVs all around. It's family and kid-friendly, too. Looking forward to my next visit - hopefully sooner than this time around.”
“I love this place, they have a good happy hour and their drinks are stiff! Super friendly staff and nice patio vibes. My only issue is that sometimes they run out of food. They have different events throughout the week, so check their website before you stop on by.”
“Great food and dining experience. This ain't your old Papalucci's. We started with the Margarita pizza (perfection), Caesar salad, main course and finished with the crème brûlée (delicious). My wife and I will definitely be back. We splurged tonight since it was our first experience there but looking forward to trying other items.”
“I love their pizza here when they get it right, being consistent when people are spending their hard earned money is critical. Nice looking place with beautiful hanging lights. However, when the cats away, the mice will play. ? Staff can be a HUGE flip flop. Some are sweet, others if owners not around can be not so nice. And the thing is people actually care how they are treated or others around them. So room for improvement. Hope the info. Helps.”
“While you're there, eat shrimp and nothing else. We had a mixed platter of different things. Among other things, a spinach cheese sauce that probably turned over in the heat and caused us margin problems. The shrimp themselves were amazing. The mashed potatoes were also very good. The broccoli was still raw and almost impossible to enjoy. The service was great and very quick.Overall more expensive.Despite our personal mixed experience, a recommendation.Vegetarian options: Hardly possible. Side dishes only.”

Wine on 2nd
“I've been reading a lot lately about finding a "third place". A place outside of work and home where you can relax, socialize, build your community. Wine on 2nd fits the bill. The owners and the staff are so welcoming, as are the other guests. The vibe is perfect. Chill, calm. I got the baked brie and it was absolutely delicious! Is one of my favorite dishes anyway and when it's done right, chef's kiss. I paired it with a sparkling wine and it was exactly what I needed.I'm already in love with this place, parking is easy, the location is great. Come and go grab a glass of wine and then go enjoy the Christmas lights or come here after. It's easy to get to, incredible ambiance. I can see why it won best wine bar last year. I expect it will do it again this year.Vegetarian options: I'm a vegetarian and a lot of the dishes are vegetarian. As in made to have a full set of flavors, not just a garden salad.”
“This place is hidden on 4th street. There is plenty of street parking in front of the restaurant. It's not that busy later in the evening. The service was quick. The ambiance is super cute with the cherry blossom tree and the art on the wall with the chicken. This is a cashless place since they recently got robbed. So make sure to help out this small business!I got the original hainan chicken rice. Everything was flavorful and spiced right. The sauces that came with it was perfect. I love how chicken is cooked steamed as it was juicy and not try. I would get this again. If you're sick, get their herbal chicken soup. It has 5 spices and Gojo berry, which is beneficial when you're sick. I definitely will be back here to try their bubble teas too!”

Sushi Kinoya
“Today I went to sushi Kinoya because of a recommendation from my math teacher.I tried the Baked Eel Roll, and everything was very fresh, and they put a very good amount of Eel. I give it a 9/10 excellent. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed, and the servers were very good. I will be taking friends here and I recommend coming and trying this joint out.”
“great food, great vibea! we got the family style and it was so good, highly recommend the lamb chops! someone in our group cried because the food was so good. the waitstaff was so nice and helpful (especially Fabio) and it was a great night, highly recommend!”
“We went to the Jay Bird's location in the Long Beach industrial park food hall. It was a weekday around lunch, so the place was packed with employees of the surrounding business. With the many options, it's easy to be distracted, but Jay Bird's should be your go to spot. They started to really grow a couple years ago and their food and service is why. Each time we've gone, we experience impeccable service. This time around, we ordered the Mac Daddy, which is a friend chicken sandwich loaded with mac n cheese. While it might seem heavy, the cheese sauce is surprisingly light and doesn't overpower the sandwich. It adds a delicate creaminess and great flavor to the sandwich. The chicken is juicy and cooked to a nice level of crispiness. The crinkle cut fries are not a home run, but they're seasoned well and I don't have any complaints. They have a small counter area for dining, but there are tables around the warehouse that are shared amongst the other restaurants. The staff was friendly and they were quickly making the food. Jay Bird's is always consistent at their various locations and my go to "chain" for a fried chicken sandwich.”
“I was there right when it opened and had the best experience, everything was perfect and definitely will be going again. For the first time everything about a place complimented everything the staff were super helpful, the food was amazing, the drinks were nice and cheap, and the atmosphere was phenomenal.”
“Food was ok for the price. I got the salmon. It was just not flavorful, unfortunately. Truffle fries were delicious. My friends got the chicken, they seemed to like it. Service was great. Very friendly and attentive. Drinks were yummy. Just don't know that I choose this spot for dinner again. Perhaps better for appetizers and drinks.”
“I come here frequently for date night with my boyfriend, hostess is always friendly. Wait time is usually short! Service is normally very good, friendly and personable. Food always comes out with big portions and is always delicious”
“This place was reservations out that night but they made room for me at the bar. Service was really good and friendly. You must get the tots. I ate it even before taking a pic. ?. The red sauce for enchilada was really excellent. Ohh. And the fluffy Mexican rice is bomb. And they make the tortillas fresh. I have ”

“My friend and I stopped here before the movie right next-door. We tried their orange and rosé wines. I liked the orange, my friend didn't care for it. The manager who is working was really nice and it's a perfect spot if you get to the movie a little bit early. They have new Parklet so there's plenty of seating and people watching.”
“I just came back from Chicago a week ago, and this pizza is exactly like Chicago style pizza! Their pizza crust is crispy and has such a good flavor, their marinara sauce is very thick and rich as well. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THEIR WINGSSS, THE BEST IVE EVER HAD If your craving authentic Chicago style pizza, this is the place to go!! (Service was amazing as well!)”
“This is the kind of bar that you can really settle into. It's the type of bar where you might see two grown men, deep into the night, crying at the end of the bar top as their friends point at them and shake their heads; NOT because what they are doing is wrong but because it's so very right, and they're strong enough to do it.It is a little too light inside, for my taste.”

“The place was very nice a loved all the flowers and food was very good, but my waiter there was very rude so that was a problem for me and it was my birthday . But I still will go there but she will never be my waiter.”

“Family brunch at Ellies was enjoyable. We sat outside and were able to have great conversation. Service was a little slow but wait was rewarded with great food. There r many options to choose. High praise for the breakfast lasagna and short ribs.”
“Definitely recommend the best hibachi ever .. I literally have to stop here every time I’m in town it’s so addicting.. can’t find a hibachi as good as this place down to every single ”
“Finally tried this new dumpling spot on second street. I had to call and check if they were safe for me due to my peanut allergy and luckily they were very accommodating and able to remove peanuts from any items that had the warning. I really appreciate them accommodating to the allergy since I have noticed a lot of places now don't want to take responsibility and just suggest you not eat there. I am so happy I got to try the food, as we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and had leftovers since they were generous portions. Happy to have this new addition in Belmont shore!”
“You can never go wrong with this place. Service by Steve, Lee, and Angel are spectacular, and ambiance is super nice. I have been a regular customer for many years and will keep visiting as the years come by!”

“Every time I walk inside epic wings there is a good sense of energy and that is what I like walking into any establishment. My food is always on time and the order is always right. Especially thanks to Denise she has the one of the best customer service skills I have encountered and she always has a smile. I definitely recommend this place for anyone if your in long Beach”
“The lady there is very friendly. Some will say it's expensive, but look what location it is at. Prices are higher anywhere near the beach. Loved the taste of the pizza. I especially loved the cheese and crust.”
“I ordered takeout at Blue Bird Haus on a Friday evening. I ordered online and received quick confirmation and my order was ready fairly quickly as well. It's surprisingly difficult to find sushi places that serve vegan rolls other than avocado/cucumber rolls. Blue Bird Haus has a wonderful selection of vegan rolls, ramen, and appetizers, and more. I ordered the V-Alaskan roll and veggie egg rolls. It was so delicious and filling. FYI it does come with pickled ginger and wasabi and the V-Alaskan is 8 rolls. While delicious, it is pretty expensive but that's to be expected as plant-based alternatives are usually pricey. Either way, this place is delicious and I definitely recommend it.Vegetarian options: There is a vegan section of the menu available online and in the restaurant.”
“fun casual place for wine and a little food. sometimes they have live music too. there's a grand piano in the middle of the small space that people can entertain themselves on too. very reasonable pricing!”

“Went in with a party of four. The infused water and free miso soup were a nice touch. We had the spicy rainbow rolls which were good quality and surprisingly filling for sushi. The sushi nachos were presented beautifully and a solid appetizer all around. When running out of wonton chips I was offered more which wasn't expected. Service was great, will return ??”
“Nice neighborhood wine shop/bar with occasional pop up food vendors. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Visited before to pick-up bottles of wine. came last week for a Korean food pop-up. Had a nice glass of vermouth to go with the Korean food. Will definitely be coming back for snacks off their menu soon.”

“I get the tofu and veggies. The first time I came there was at least 2 cups of sauce so it was not edible but now I know how to order - no oil and firm vegetables! Yum. I come here because the vegetables are fresh, everything is made to order and the sizes are perfect and large! The staff is wonderful - everyone I have encountered is nice and accommodating.”

“Long lines but worth the wait. Try to go early so things don't sell out. Their menu has a lot of Mexican and Hispanic influence! We tried everything available and honestly loved it all.”
“You must make reservations to eat here and only on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Very pretty atmosphere. There are TV's showing them preparing your food. Really cool to see hands on learning taking place. They give you a few options from a set menu for the week and you can pay extra if you want to try more than one. It is a 3-course meal. Appetizer, main course and dessert. Very cool experience. I would go again.”

We already plan on coming back tomorrow!”

“Great little pizza spot. We had a full pizza that was half pepperoni and half cheese, a slice of white, the classic Italian sub and the antipasto salad.I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get the pizza again, but if it were in my own neighborhood I would probably eat there all the time. The sandwich and salad were both huge.Great little patio space.”
“Visiting from Texas and ate here because my friend works here. I just finished eating some of the best fried appetizers i have ever had. The cheese curds and onion rings are next level. The breakfast burrito is totally off the chain. My kids food all looks delicious and theyre eating their little butts off. Do not miss out on the stache or the sideburns.”
“This spot was on point. I'm a difficult customer. I didn't know what I wanted. Yammel was so awesome. She answered my dozen of questions and put together a dinner for my husband and I that was healthy, filling, and delicious. I did take out. I ordered the family style dinner but I got beef kebab and steak instead of chicken for a bit of a charge. We also ordered the appetizer platter and tiramisu for desert. The sides of salad and pita, and everything that came with these meals will give us about three nights of Dinner. Ordering DoorDash or Uber Eats is becoming ridiculous. You pay $15-$20 in fees. So that's why I came in to order take out. So about 80 bucks we'll eat 3 nights. We would easily drop that on one dinner if we went out. Prices are just insane lately. Thank you Yammel for being so patient with me and for being friendly and kind.”

“You might have a doubt when you see where this place is, but go!! You're in this restaurant that is nice, clean, and cool and the decor feels so at home. It's beautiful! Being Mexican-American, I know these dishes and how delicious they are but let's be honest, HEAVY!! But these dishes hit the taste spot for some good Mexican Food! The Mole, the Tacos, the Suace, it all brings back memories, and when you think these are all Vegan ingredients you are just more enamored. The waitress, Alejandra, was so nice and so passionate about the restaurants and the dishes, it makes you smile. And always giving a shout-out to the cook for making delicious food but also very aesthetically cool dishes!”
“The sushi here is to die for!!!! We moved about 45 minutes away and when ever we crave sushi we will make the drive. “Came here on a Sunday around 8pm no wait we ordered at the kiosk. Parking right in front. Phone number to text when order is ready however it wasn't accurate we still waited like 10 minutes after it said our order was ready. Service was ok no greeting and when we checked up on our order they didn't acknowledge us really. Ordered the and marble mango it was alright taste was artificial flavoring. The strawberry milk tea and plain milk teas was ok. The best was probably the mango smoothie. Boba was good. Overall, good for a one time try.”

Every single dish was delicious and so beautifully plated. We had a great time! Totally recommend this breakfast spot!!”
