“Our kids’ band was playing at the Paramount upstairs and we had time before the show to eat - O M G ? the Cherry Bomb pizza, lemon pepper wings, DILL ranch, hibiscus margarita- were all incredible! It was so good that we came back the next day and ordered the same items to go. Great atmosphere and delicious food - thank you!“
“Finally got to try this place!!! It’s usually open from 5pm to midnight and for some reason the timing just never worked out. We tried the Gordo pizza and mozzarella sticks. It was soooooooo good!! They really take their time into making your pie perfect. The place had four small round tables for seating but it’s mostly takeout. I will definitely be back to try other pizzas and this place is getting added to my top pizza places list ?“
“Without a doubt one of the best pizzas in town. I have tried the variety of Diego's pizza recipes and he nails it every time. Support this local small business, you won't regret it. And by the way, his Chicago deep dish is going to blow your mind.“
“Absolutely delightful service & chicken! Make sure to check the counter for info on their combos and bentos since those are good deals for lunch. The portions are great, so an 8 piece is enough for 2 lunches, especially if you’re pairing it with rice or a salad. Will definitely be back.“
“Incredible fried chicken spot that also served Korean popcorn chicken which is one of my favorite dishes for Korean fast food. Their chicken sandwiches are loaded and the seasoning is spot on. It is a no nonsense location and has free parking in the heart of ktown!“
“My brother, dad, and myself needed a place to hangout for a while so we could talk; and we’re so happy we chose this place. The pizza was amazing, the service was top tier (the two people there working were super personable), and the prices were reasonable. If you ever need pizza, go here.“
“this is one of the better hot chicken combos i've ever had even after getting it delivered. the mild sandwich is a true mild and the fry on the chicken is perfect, not greasy. slaw is perfectly vinegary and the sauce that comes on the sandwich and with the fries is perfect. the sandwich was so neatly constructed which i always appreciate and fries were crispy, so good with the sauce.“
“First time getting a burger from here and will definitely come again. The burger was delicious, well cooked and just enough seasoning on the fries. Definitely recommend to stop by. Almost forget to mention the strawberry lemonade was amazing .“
“Found this place by accident because it was the only convenient parking. The lady was so incredibly nice and welcoming. Food came out super fast, and was very fresh. I was also impressed by the incredibly competitive prices. My meal was about $13 for 5 wings and fries. Many places would charge me closer to $20. Honey garlic wings: 10/10 (slight kick, I don't normally like any spice, however I really didn't mind on these, they were very good) Side note: The sauce was just drizzled on, not covering the whole thing. I thought it was perfect, the chicken was great on its own, and it wasn't drowning in sauce. Sometimes places go overkill on the sauce to compensate for mid chicken, not the case here. I don't know how it can get better than this in LA.“
“Our favorite pizza place in L.A. out of more than a dozen we've been to. We always get their XL Flyin' Hawaiian which has pineapple, Canadian bacon, and (real) bacon bits. Also, their music is so awesome- usually reggae or something similarly upbeat and laid back. I'm always Shazaming songs while waiting for the pizzaParmesan and pepper flake shakers are usually on the tables but if they forgot just ask, they're really good. It's worth it to ask“
“The chicken burger was very tender and juicy. loved the pineapple set it apart from the other chicken burgers. Restaurant is super clean and organized and great service. wings and fries were a bit to crispy/dry to my liking. The Jojo fries were perfect and onion rings. Also got a complimentary drink for being there anniversary. Definitely coming back.“
“In the year 2000 I lived in front of Alibi Room, I met friends in the afternoon and we played pool, we ate and had a few drinks, we really had a great time, I have very good memories of that Bar. After a few years I returned to live in Argentina“
“Fried Chicken wings to Die for!Atmosphere: Small restaurant hole in the wall very no frills, tv playing korean tv shows counter to order, Clean restroom and maybe 6 tables to sit. Overall pleasant interior.Everything is fried to order, be patient and you will be rewarded. It took 20 minutes but I would wait hours for this its that good. They use a Rice flour which I think is key to their amazing chicken. This also makes the breading naturally gluten free I believe.Food:Soy Sauce Honey Wings - This is the most amazing combination of sauces, sweet and salty perfection. The wings were PERFECTLY fried and insanely addicting. i could drink this sauce daily.Original Wings - The literal crispiest chicken I have ever had. You could hear the crunch from our house 30 minutes away. The flavor and quality is unmatched. The only wings i could easily say needs NO sauce whatsoever, the chicken speaks for itself.. salt, pepper and crunchy heaven.Pickled Radish - So sweet and delicious a great palette cleanser, also a must get!Drinks:Canned Sodas and teasPrice:This is a case where I gladly say YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, the quality of the chicken and the amazing fry they get along with the unbelievable sauces. Around $17.00 for a small order which is 9 wings both flats and drums.Parking:They have a free 2 hour parking lot which we were lucky enough to find a spot at. I could see parking being an issue if you dont get a spot in this lot for sure.Service:The absolute nicest staff. The owners were so gracious and warm and welcoming. This is how a meal out should be, they appreciate that you are there and we had NOTHING but praise for the entire experience. The fact this place isn't on EVERYONE'S MUST EAT list is shocking to me. This is the BEST chicken wings in LA hands down.“
“Calling in and speaking to Sal is like when I would talk to the radio DJ as a kid. He made me feel special and answered all my questions and I hung up thrilled full of pure adrenaline. When my food arrived, it had two FREE DESSERTS and I knew why. It was because EVERYBODY TALKS ABOUT SAL ON GOOGLE. His pizza and wings and food and personality are why. The name Pizza Pie Eatery is hilarious for some reason. They don’t even need any more 5star reviews cause they already have a perfect record. I’m just paying homage to this place which is Pizza-rifficDietary restrictions: Cauliflower gluten Free pizza“
“10/10 I will be recommending this to anyone who comes thru the NoHo area!! This is the best wing spot I have ever had!! I can say even better than wingstop, the staff is extremely friendly and the overall vibe here is incredible. Will be coming back here again!! I recommendLemon pepper and BBQ wings!!“
“You ever go to a ‘New York pizza’ place and ask yourself “what the hell is this?” That won’t happen at this place lol. This is the real deal and they’re not even calling themselves New York pizza in order to sell bad pies. They’re proper pizza and the pizza is exactly that; proper. Delicious and possibly one of the best pizzas in all of Los Angeles.“
“Literally, my sister and I have been on a pho binge and we got to try château lemongrass on Friday night. We arrived around 8 PM and there was plenty of seating available. We are promptly served and we were able to order the vegetable pho and the rare steak pho. I thought the pho was very good and the soup was very flavorful. Lots of street parking is available and they also have outdoor seating as well.“
“It may be looks like another little wings, fried stuff restaurant but this on was by far the best I had in Ktown !! Super fresh, melting meat, excellent fries. I do recommend this place in priority if you are hungry and want wings, pop corn chicken, with the best spices ! Thanks again to the tenant who was so jice to us !“
“I order from here constantly! The food scene here in LA is often underwhelming. Being from Chicago, I can attest to the fact that Juicy Js SLAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPS! I have tasted just about everything, it's all so delicious and reminds me of home. My favorites are definitely the Maxwell style polish, turkey burger and pizza puff. Always fresh, always hot!Y'all better get some of these eats!!!“
“Don’t know if it’s authentic but it is delicious. We orderedgochujang sauce chicken wingsStirfried kimchi pork w/ steamed tofuWings were crunchy outside and soft inside. Just the way it should be. Everything just melted in your mouth.Kimchi pork was something new we tried. Not spicy but still flavourful.Would definitely visit again. Also, the valet guy outside is a scam and people who work here at Louders saved us and got the car from that valet guy.“
“Wow! I am so very sad today. My kids suggested Wings World and we were all set to get those lemon peppered wings and spicy hot wings. I usually call 1st but the line was disconnected and then when we drove up we saw the empty establishment! I'm heartbroken. Those wings were the best! They cooked them just right. We were always greeted so nicely. Such a nice family and I hope you are reading your reviews family just so you know how much you meant to our community and how your wings and the great flavors will linger in our memories . Most of all we will miss your wonderful hard working family and I wish your family many blessings to come your way.“
“When I say the catfish and macaroni salad is ???? believe me. Best fish market I've had in long while and the prices are very reasonable during this time. I would say the only thing I don't care for is the lunch specials not being available all day, but the owners are lovely ppl tho so I approve with a A++“
“I'm glad this tasty, family-run restaurant is in my Los Feliz neighborhood. Happy that they've expanded their menu because the Persian Armenian food is delicious. Never had a bad meal, and never had anything but friendly service. Solid, un-pretentious, and relaxed. I dig it.“
“I just want to start out by saying the staff was great and handled a busy market very well. The chicken was delicious, just note the breading on the chicken is slightly thick but seasoned well and slightly spicy. I preferred the juicy tenders over the wings, personally. The Szechuan fries were fantastic, the seasoning, spiciness and crispy edges were crave-able. I loved the pickles which were more like a quick pickled cucumber with lots of sesame which added great flavor and freshness. I tried all of the sauces, you can’t go wrong with any of them in my opinion. I loved that Go Go Bird also has a station for additional sauces and pickled hot peppers. We will be back!“
“The ambiance is alright it's a small little shop I'm guessing they're still renovating it I'm not sure but it's on a busy street you can do a u turn so that's the good thing I didn't mind and you can park in the back aswell and the service was good I'm not gonna lie they took my order quickly didn't wait that long like 15-20 minutes for my food it was worth it though I'm not gonna lie them fries are good as hell perfectly seasoned and not too hard just crispy/ limp but that slaw was amazing that's what I think had a crazy amount of flavors in it, it was the best slaw I've ever tasted I honestly wouldn't mind just ordering their slaw alone and their chicken is crispy as hell perfectly coated in flavor and breading the juice is seen in the bites you take it's good as hell and their sauce is good the yellow one is amazing it taste almost identical or similar to the chicken-fil-a sauce but that's my opinion you should decide on your own and see but also white sauce is also pretty good and overall it was pretty great I'm not gonna lie yall should come and try it fs!!!!“
“An LA staple! Amazing chicken and waffles. Legendary place in Los Angeles. Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Barack Obama, Shaq, Stevie Wonder and many more celebrities have come here to get their amazing soul food! Biscuits and gravy and their Mac n cheese is so yummy too. Definitely stop by this landmark next time you’re in Los Angeles!“
“One of the best places to eat real pizza! We probably order 2-3 times a month from this place. The bbq chicken pizza large with extra cheese is my favorite. Service is top A1. They are always present. Ambiance is family friendly. Tbh I think the only con is that you can't order over the phone. Other than that, it's amazing!“
“Ordered by the slice and got a bottle rootbeer:The dough not too salty not to bland, pairs well with the tomatoes, cheese tasted neutral.Nice to know i dont have to go two towns over to get a slice of good pizza. definitely my go to.i went around 10:00Pm on a rainy day not busy yet so ill enjoy it while it lasts, I can see this place getting busier.“
“Surprisingly really loved the crunch roll ! The shrimp on top was fried in the same seasoned batter & really added a nice taste! The pieces of sole I ordered were very thin however i think If i didn't request for them to be "fried hard" it would've been ok, so that's on me. Would def try again :)“
“Very chill pizza stop on Melrose. Quick service. Decently long wait time after ordering, but the food was filling and worth the wait and the price. Personal size deep dish pizza is deceptively filling and very good. Squid Ink Pasta took a long while, but was delicious. Decent amount of indoor with some outdoor seating. No wifi of note. Free parking nearby, with paid parking closer. Melrose is a super busy shopping street, so be aware of that and all that brings.“
“Lorena was a GEM. The wings were so bomb— jumbo with tons of meat, a little thick on the breading, good buffalo sauce, decent ranch —and the calzone was delicious. I almost want to delete this review right after I post because I don’t want them to get too busy that I can’t go all the time ? but they deserve the props! Thanks Lamonica’s!“
“I like the vibe of this place but I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. The prices are high. This is a dive bar but the prices do not reflect that. That's my biggest complaint. Our server was super sweet, albeit sometimes hard to find. Who knows how many servers were on the clock or how big their sections were, so I'm not holding it against her. Her personality honestly made up for it anyway. The wings are fantastic. The rest of the food was just fine. There is a parking lot, which is great, but does fill up quickly on a busy night. Do make sure to get a pass from the bartender/server.“
“New items I tried:Pro: lemon pepper wings and ranchGrow: garlic knots and thin crust pizza. Tip: order the deep dish. Updated review! I got to try the thin crust pizza and have to say the deep dish is definitely my favorite. The thin crust pizza is thin and nyc style. Although it was also delicious, I was not mind blown as I was with the deep dish that was a 5/5. I also tried the garlic knots and winds this time around. The garlic knots were a bit dry and I wouldn't order them again. The chicken wings on the other hand were perfectly crisp and I loved the homemade ranch. Keep in mind that i am usually not a fan of ranch. Overall, this is still a solid pizza spot and my go to but I will stick to the deep dish.“
“Ordered a whole soy honey chicken and it was sooooo good. Korean fried chicken perfection!Minus a star because none of the other food items were available. It was lunch time but the "kitchen wasn't ready" so we literally could only order chicken.“
“Skip ono and l&l - this is your new go to Hawaiian spot. One man show but the food is incredibly good and cooked to perfection?Mr. Chin is a very sweet old soul who clearly has years of making his wonderful home-cooked foods! Prices are great and he gives hefty portions too!! 잘먹었습니다!!“
“I looked up Macho Burger it's still under the Chic BB. Stopped by yesterday.one of my ex-coworker is here now. They still have chicken sandos . Prices are reasonable $10 The truffle burger is the top of price line. I got the black pepper cheese burger. It was large, sloppy but quite tasty. I could of easily eaten 1/2 and be ok. This kind of burger doesn't re heat well. That motivated me to finish the macho burger it clashed with my Del estrogen hormone shots. The bun didn't hold up....the fries are very good. They fry well here. They were out of chicken cartilage.... A very Asian item...“
“First time experiencing this establishment on the recommendation of my “mom” Both my daughter and my self.Even though we were a few minutes before they actually opened. It was raining outside. And the owner and staff welcomed us in with smiles and outstanding customer service. The Food was AMAZING. High recommend the “Kym” Loaded baked potato with parm And the Lemon pepper Chicken.Willie THANK YOU for making it an Amazing first time experience.Just know you have 2 new customers“
“This is the only fried chicken place I frequent the most and recommend to everyone looking to try Korean fried chicken spot! All the items have such great flavors, with the chicken fried to a satisfying crunch! I’ve ordered to go and they do not the disappoint either! The order is always ready on time and freshly made!!!My favorite are the snow honey butter fried chicken, loaded fries with bulgogi or kimchi and the tuna mayo rice balls!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair access“
“Ahhhhh I don't usually eat cockroaches of the sea but this place OH MY GOODNESS!! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SHRIMP ? please please go here and get at least a 10-piece it's only about 7 bucks!! The way they season it oh my Lord.. it is a little weight but I put a timer because I do go there often and it's never been over about 12 min...I tried that chicken nuggets yesterday I did not like them..Stay with the shrimp“
“I can only speak to two visits and both were excellent. The Smash Burger was a 10. I had the double with cheese and it was one of the best cheese burgers I've ever had. The other time I had the blackpepper boneless chicken wings. They were super juicy and good. The burger will bring me back without a doubt.Parking: Free parking with validation.“
“Sai is one of the best servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her hospitality and warmth did not go unnoticed, and I appreciate her ability to make me feel at home at a bar I had never before attended. The food was incredible, and the fries were the BEST I’ve had at a bar in LA. Come here if you want amazing food and happy vibes. :)“
“I stumbled upon Prime Pizza accidentally right when the COVID restrictions were being lifted. It was by far the best pizza I've had and I couldn't get enough. I do prefer thin crust pizzas so if you're not a fan, you probably wouldn't like this style of pizza.Came today for lunch special for 2 pcs cheese pizza and a drink for $10. Great bang for your buck!“
“Best pizza on earth since I was a little boy in the 90s. And I have been damn near all the states in America and the best pizza restaurants in NYC don't even come near to Pizza King. The taste has remained consistent over the years: well seasoned meats, PREMIUM MOZZARELLA CHEESE that STRETCHES when you PULL a SLICE APART, a slight sweet taste to the dough - but the dough use to be thicker back in the day, like the pizza at Pizza King use to have those famous dough bubbles on the crust and the crust was way thicker and softer back in the 90s and 2000s, I hated crust on pizza but Pizza Kings dough for the crust part was so soft and sweet you could eat a entire slice crust and all and as a kid when they had the fountain soda machines I use to dip the crust in my coca-cola or strawberry soda when they had those XL cups (and to think about it they had XL pizzas here too) ??? man the dough was so fluffy it would absorb the soda like nothing and it taste so good.Other than the crust that's the only inconsistency about Pizza King, otherwise no Pizza compares to it. I had a few runner ups, like a Jets Pizza that use to be in Memphis TN, and this NYC Pizza shop that use to be in South Beach Miami.I give them 9/10 but Pizza King is a 12/10 it's so damn good.“
“I'm giving this place 4/5. The chicken had a Cajun spice that they put on the outside of the breading. Over the chicken wasn't the best but good. The line was kinda long but the food was affordable. I had a 2 pc, small Cajun rice, small soda and sweet potato pie for about $9. The sweet potato pie was great! I'll be coming back for sure, however this is located in the hood.“
“We got take out from here today and it was amazing! Such a perfect find!! I'm not sure why the reviews and ratings aren't better. I'm glad we went there despite the rating on google. I was craving some fried chicken this morning and thank God everything else was closed and we found our way to this restaurant!!Yes, they take only cash and that's not really a problem - it's not hard to get the cash from an ATM nearby or better still do your own research and come prepared with the cash. You will find the best fried fall-of-the-bones chicken ever!! The batter has a lot of flavour too and the leg and thigh pieces were the best! All the sides we got were perfect too!! Onion rings, Mac n cheese, coleslaw! The onion rings and the corn muffins do deserve special mention! Oh and the banana pudding - to die for!! The chicken sandwich was a little dry. Not the showstopper! But it's still good. Just needed more Mayo/ranch and it might work better on a different kind of bread. But it's a huge filling sandwich that you can work with. You have to get their fried chicken!! Thank you so much for the amazing food!!“
“I was really craving veggie egg rolls. So I decided to try Jin China Bistro. I was not disappointed. They were fresh and perfectly crunchy on the outside and the cabbage and carrot were crunchy on the inside. That and some sweet and sour with hot mustard……well I wish I’d bought more. I also ordered my favorite hot and sour soup. I have to say it was extraordinary. I had to add some chili because I like my soup spicy but other than that I couldn’t put it down. The dried fungus made it especially delicious and extremely healthy. I’m a bit of a foodie and you can tell a lot about a restaurant by its egg rolls and soup and I will definitely be going back to Jin China Bistro! It is also very beautiful and the perfect place for a date. The food with the ambience and friendly service makes this a 5 star restaurant in my opinion.“
“Great fresh pizza with plenty of vegan options. Yay! Lovely service as well. The crust was thin as promised but the bottom was a tad bit too dark to my taste (over baked?). My kids also enjoyed the pizza, and the slices are well sized and reasonably priced.Vegetarian options: Yummy vegan cheese and protein“
“This place was used to be Korean(sweet chili: yangnyum chicken) style fried chicken but recently grand opened and they now have the chicken teriyaki bento box and few selections of sushi rolls. I have tried Korean fried chicken and teriyaki as well as sushi rolls-they are bomb!!!! This is now my goto spot to togo meal or even quick everyday meal. The food tastes fresh? they even have boba like coffee flavors, they use fresh real fruit for strawberry banana smoothie, and tea flavors like their match green tea and black milk tea my favorite!! Cannot wait to try others in their menu.“
“9th of December 2023I found you guys on the website. So I give you guys a call. Before you guys close. This is my first time trying your pizza. I order the Supreme. It was just the right touch. The crust was great, the ingredients was perfect ?. I will definitely order from you guys again. In Hawaiian I want to give a perfect 10 SHAKA ??????????. And MERRY CHRISTMAS ?????☃️⛄️And A HAPPY NEW YEAR ?? .“
“DELICIOUS! Must try spot in ktown, there’s no one else doing KFC like this!Parking: Parking on site, an underground garage across the street and street parking.Kid-friendliness: There’s chair seating that can be moved around to accommodate for strollers“
