Unassuming expensive Japanese restaurant there is plenty of unique and special sushi and cooked food to be found in their menu. Everything we ordered was fresh and good. We went past 1pm and when we entered there were one two other tables, but by the time we left past 2pm almost all the tables were taken. Service was consistent, not very friendly but efficient. It wasn't a bad idea to stop by later in the evening when me Friday. Although we haven't been since prior to the pandemic. It used to be my gf and my late night spot in the area. We'd grab a few rolls and ramen. The prices were high back then and even higher now. There were seemingly less roll options than before and at added costs. We may stumble in again when we want late night sake, but who knows.

Walking distance from LAX. Had a short layover and didn't want airport food. This is a much better option if you are looking for amazing selection of fish and Japanese food. It is on the pricier side for rolls. I did get the Toro Truffle hand roll special which was awesome. I didn't like that sitting at the bar they still had servers instead of being able to talk/order with the chef directly.
