I came for lunch and was greeted by one of the brothers who was very kind. I ate at one of the tables under the pergola. The food was fresh and flavorful. The falafel are so light but since they are made to order the outside is perfectly crispy... they were delicious!!! The hummus is smooth, the salad was perfectly dressed- in fact I was surprised at how much I liked the salad. There was probably a whole cucumber in there. The pita is large and flaky... This was divine.
Heard of this eatery via Netflix. Chef David Chang featured this restaurant on Ugly Delicious. The parking lot is tiny and there is only outdoor dining with great shade. I was very intrigued by the Mediterranean and Mexican fusion so I had to try it out. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate which includes salad, rice pilaf and hummus. Fave spot in LA and order here at least 2-3x a week. Best, most creamiest hummus I’ve had in my life. Rice is cooked to perfection every time.
