“Go for the people, not the food. The place is closed right now for renovations but will be reopening with new owners (still local) and better facilities. Looking forward to this community staple making a return.”

“We love this place. We have a family of 5 and we spend $150 so it’s expensive but I am picky on where we go and eat because we usually eat all organic and lots of veggies at home so anywhere I like it’s more expensive. It’s a nice place to come occasionally when you really don’t want to cook dinner but you also want something good locally. We have crazy kids that run around so I really like the outside eating area so I don’t have to worry about disrupting a restaurant. It’s a casual place, you pay when you order, you grab your water and beer when you pay. There’s usually a long wait the locals no to come right at 5:00 to get your order in. The longest we waited was 2 hours usually it doesn’t take that long but it can. Kelsey gave us a free beer that time which was cool. It’s definitely not a place to come if you’re in a rush but more so if you’re wanting to hangout and have a couple beers and chill before you eat. We like the pretzel, grilled cheese and tomato soup, chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, potato wedges, and the cheesecake is to die for! Not a fan of the fish tacos.”

“Tonight we had our first pizzas at Whitewater Pizza Company, and they were utterly delicious! So excited to have pizza of this caliber, and so close to home. The crust was so delicious, the toppings are amazing, and the pizza was cooked perfectly. 500 stars from us!”

“As a dual citizen of Italy and America it is so hard to find food places that feel like home and aren’t “Italian American” where it’s nothing but pizza and spaghetti. This food was AMAZING! “Absolutely amazing food. Every single thing we had was delicious. The beef Bourgogne stew was my favorite. The pre fixe was a great deal and the cod was cooked perfectly. The only complaint I have about the dessert is that it was too good and I want more. Best meal I've had in a long time and reasonably priced as well!”

“This was our first time here, we saw the place 2 days ago, but we were in a hurry, but we decided we will try it in the way back home, and we did and everything was excellent, the BBQ was flavorfull, all the meats came off the bone easily and all the sides were perfect, specially the cole slaw and the green beans and the rolls, they reminded me of my country.Everything was great, from food to the place to the staff.Keep up the good work and the superb food.Parking: Right at the door, lots of spots.Kid-friendliness: This food is perfect for everyone, kids will love it.”

“Tonight was my first experience in this restaurant. The service was excellent! We got to our seats, the owner offered my kids goldfish as a small snack while waiting for dinner. The food was hot and quick to arrive. We ordered the Cameron Park Curry and the Pad Thai beef which came as decent portions and surprisingly filled all of our stomachs. (4) The server( tall gentleman) was kind quick and was on top of anything we needed. 100% recommend to anyone wanting Thai! “This is a nice wood fired pizza place. The food was delicious. We ordered 4 pizzas between 4 people each with their own favorite but all agreed they were all delicious. They also had a different (unique?) selection of beer (ale?) that we enjoyed.”

“For months I would stop and read the menu but just couldn’t bring myself to try one their “concoctions”. That was my loss. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone trying several of their master pieces and have not been disappointed once. This place is like the Disney Epcot of sandwich shops. Ready for an American classic, the biscuits and gravy sandwich might be their simplest sandwich but I’m salivating right now just thinking about it. The gravy is top three I’ve ever had, if not the best. Ready for a trip south of the border, the enchiladas suizas sandwich might be my favorite so far (minus the sour cream). The addition of the chips might seem like something my kid would do, but don’t think this sandwich would be same without them. The salsa verde rivals anything I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant. Looking for something a little on the sweet side then give the honey walnut prawns a try, and continue down the Asian fusion path with the pot sticker cheese burger. I could go on but just know your trip around the culinary world doesn’t stop there. Don’t like to travel, no problem, the cheese burger will more than get the job done. Fair warning, they have a lot of fun and work their butts off, but on busy days there can be a bit of a wait so take some time and enjoy all Main Street has to offer. It will be more than worth it.”

“Popped by here after jury duty in Placerville and oh my... These sweet treats were perfect!! This place is such a cute little bakery with lots to choose from! I got their chocolate chip cookie, and it is just how I like them -- so soft, not too sweet, and almost like cookie dough! I also got the oatmeal thin mint cookie, which sounded interesting at first but wanted to try, and it was delightful! It's not too sweet and had a perfect balance with the mint. I also tried their coconut macaroons which were amazing! Reminded me of how my mom makes them! Thank you for such a wonderful treat! I definitely need to come back to try the gelato, which looked AMAZING.”

“Located in the far side of a strip mall. Plenty of parking. Cozy restaurant, a throwback to earlier days. Warm greeting and attentive staff. Mostly booth seating. Food is perfect if you Are looking for Mexican food with little deviation from mild. The Chile verde was tasty but the beans (whole) and rice were bland. Complimentary chips were excellent and salsa was good. The restaurant was busy for a Thursday afternoon.”

“This is a healthy food / shake location. The focus is very healthy shakes and teas. It is in league with other health establishments like gyms and health food stores. The lack of normal lunch type foods is not lacking in a great atmosphere with a healthy mission.”

“Enjoyed a late lunch here on our drive back from Lake Tahoe to the Bay Area. Didn't get to try their Lobster Bisque since they were out (Friday ~2pm), but our daughter loved their clam chowder. The Baked Brie was so delicious - served with warm bread, dried fruit, grilled onions and truffles. It was gone within a few minutes! For our mains, the crab cake sliders were fine, nothing spectacular. But their Salmon Salad was a hit! The salmon was cooked just right, not too dry, with a lightly sweet, refreshing dressing. I wish I could bottle up the dressing and take it home! We'll definitely be coming back when we're in town again.”

“Love their tacos. The fish is not fried but still really tasty. Their al pastor is delicious (but saucey) and I like their chorizo too. Friend always gets the burritos because they are HUGE. BD gets their pupusas which comes with a fantastic slaw. I to the market for the seasoning on their chicken and to pick up simple items I'll need if I'm making food at home. Service has always been friendly. Please bring back the tables so we can eat there. I know it's tight sometimes but I miss the salsa and eating inside if it's rainy outside.”
