“A truly amazing subway definitely better than any of the ones I've been too. Everything is clean to the lemonades and their counters, it shows everyone is helping maintaining this place clean. The workers can be nice if you catch them on their good days but overall definitely a subway I'll drive out of the way for!“
“Location has nice employees, and clean tables. But I noticed the ingredients at this location always give me food poisoning. I thought to myself, "Maybe it's the choices I'm putting on my sandwhich." But nope, it's here. I experimented, and every other subway I'm perfectly fine, I never feel sick whatsoever, but every time I get a sandwich here I get bad food poisoning. It is always almost instant after finishing the sandwich. Just be careful! But always amazing service and employees with great attitudes., just maybe check if the ingredients are fresh ?“
“This is everything a Vietnamese sandwich shop should be. #1 or #3, iced coffee, a produce box on top of a milk crate for seating, and soap operas on the tele. It's a food stall. Nothing more, nothing less. Walked out of there with 3 Bahn Mis, iced coffee, and a soda for $25 (not including tip; don't forget to tip). Actually, I walked out without anything because...soaps operas. Just left with a memory of what I wish I had at home“
“Very good pastrami dip, from the videos I thought it would be more stacked but it was fine, nice pickle slice with order, we also got a brisket sandwich, my father complained it was very greasy but had a great flavor, if I ever come back I will try the pastrami on rye it looked wonderful ✌️“
“I absolutely love this place. 100% fresh indeed. And the pricing is definitely to my favor. I'm glad they take their time making the food. It's literally my new favorite sandwich shop. The chicken pesto is my go-to, but every other sandwich I've tried was hot and fresh. Total hidden gem.“
“Best sandwiches in the area by a country mile and they are super accommodating with customizations. I work in the area and I would say this is the only place I go for lunch now.Vegetarian options: Delicious sandwiches.Dietary restrictions: They have yet to make a mistake even when I've ordered very customized sandwiches“
“OMGOSH!!!!! I LITERALLY HAD TO GET OUR OF MY CAR TO TELL THIS KIND MAN HIS MY BAGEL WAS DELICIOUS!!! (AVOCADO w CREAM CHEESE / WHEAT BAGEL) SOOOO HAPPY I CAME HERE , THANK YOU TO THE REVIEWS! “Great sandwiches and lemonade! Loved the atmosphere, it was like you were stepping back in time. We are from Maryland and stopped here before heading back home after backpacking in Joshua Tree National Park.Parking: Definitely go here to get some good food. You will be glad you did?“
“One of the best sandwich spots in LA. I come here at least twice a week (or to the slauson location). The only sandwich shop that offers turkey pastrami and its fantastic. All their offerings are great as I tried everything on the menu. Highly recommended and great for lunch. I sometimes order two sandwiches so I can eat it after work as well.“
“Best sandwich ever. This place gave me delusions of grandeur because the chef is so friendly I thought I was special for a minute there. The line gets long but it moves pretty fast. If you only have 30 minutes for lunch you should go later on when it has cooled off a little and hope he still has mozzarella. No, I didn't forget! But I forgive because that is how special and magnanimous I am. Shoot. There I go again.“
“Yo way has delicious sandwiches made the way you want it. Fresh deli meats and lots of fresh veggies to choose from. Fast and friendly service too. If you want a lunch or dinner that will fill you up and satisfy your appetite. I recommend Yo way. Give it a try you will definitely come back and bring your friends you will be happy you did.“
“Food was great, server was amazing, little bit on a small size so if u come late you will have to wait. Only complaint would be meat being not enough salty but thats personal preferenc, so your milage may very. Will def come back... oh n price is good.Parking: Right next to the building“
“What can be said. In all my years on God's green Earth I have NEVER had a more satisfying Thanksgiving dinner. I haven't enough superlatives to describe this experience. I swear, if I were a Michelin restaurant reviewer I would make damn sure this place got a star! It was that good. Not a single person could stay quiet about the taste of this food throughout the whole meal. The most moist succulent turkey was the star of the show. The brown gravey, a holy annointing sauce . If you are looking to more than impress, most assuredly you WILL! From the corn, to the stuffing, to the green bean salad, to the best cranberry sauce to ever bless every last item on the plate, just how did it complement EVERY LAST THING it touched is a miracle too me. And don't even get me started on the price. It could have been much more and it would still be a bargain. I swear I am guarding my left overs with jealous eyes doling them out to make them last. And the portions, they were plenty so even though the trays were hit HARD there was some left. Christmas is coming, you can bet your butt this feast will grace my table again. I'll likely even buy a second meal to freeze or reprise this food symphony again a few days later!“
“I've lived in the South Bay all my life and never knew this place existed, sort of a little hidden jem. I had the infamous Matzo Ball soup. The broth and soup itself was delicious! The Matzo ball didn't have much flavor, and I found the texture hard to stomach. I also had the grilled ham and cheese sandwich with fries. The fries were perfectly crunchy and unsalted. The sandwich was amazing, and the bread is what made it. It had some sort of fennel seed. Service was fair but prices were too high, in my opinion.“
“First time ordering from here. I opted for delivery. I chose the Downtown Turkey Sandwich. It comes with the following below:Turkey, Provolone, Roasted Red Peppers, Iceberg, Onion, Oil & Red Wine Vinaigrette.1. Good portions2. Bread was chewy, and a bit tough for me. Flavor was good.3. Turkey was juicy, and plentiful. Good flavor.4. Roasted red peppers are not for me. Didn't like the flavor it gave the sandwich.I'm definitely going to order more from this place and choose something else or the same thing without the roasted red peppers. Otherwise, this is a great little sandwich spot in the area and would recommend to others to try out their options. In addition, they other items, like salads, sides, chips, additional items you can add to your sandwich.“
“My office is at the Row. Took me months to try this place but so happy I finally did! Definitely my favorite slice on the West Coast! Favorites are the salami, red and lemon slices. Perfect crust and huge slices for $5-$6. Need to try a sandwich next!“
“Wax Paper Chinatown brings the same excellent sandwiches that you can get in Frogtown to a different part of LA. I usually go to the Frogtown location if I'm craving one of their sandwiches, but if I'm nearby or want a sandwich only offered on the Chinatown menu, then I order from here. There's some seating in the shared hallway area if you decide to dine in, and I've always found the service to be friendly and efficient. The Garth Trinidad is one of my favorite turkey sandwiches, combining a slightly spicy cabbage slaw with roasted turkey and aioli. Just writing about this sandwich makes me think I'm quite overdue for a Wax Paper order!“
“Love their sandwiches. I usually get the Bootlegger but yesterday i had the Jalapeño Chicken Wrap. Really good! So good i came back again for another tonight. Ingridients are always fresh. Staff is always super friendly and quick to make your order. Will definitely return. i also had #15 Club Tuna (Unwich) the other day. Really good!“
“Mendo is always a good lunch option. Good salads and filling sandwiches are found throughout the menu. I've never had a bad meal nor left a Mendocino Farms feeling hungry. Service is quick. Food is consistently good. Service is friendly and the locations are clean. You really cannot find anything to be picky about. They treat the customers right. They use good ingredients. And the food is delicious. Every time.“
“I love love love this place! The sandwiches are so simple but the ingredient pairings are just chefs kiss ✨ Tommy really knows what he’s doing. My typical go to is the Ironwood with turkey and I like to get the 43rd Ave as a dessert sandwich ?The 43rd isn’t always on the menu but I can confirm that they always have the ingredients.Parking: As of Mar ‘24, parking is free“
“The sandwiches are to die for. They use the freshest ingredients and it feels as though the sandwiches are made with love. I love eating a Banh Mi and although their interpretation is not traditional. It is really a home run and worth a try. I had trouble paying as my Apple Pay wasn't working. The guy working the register was so kind to me and said they can give one free sandwich per a day to those in need or whatever. It was my lucky night. I don't like to owe or receive hand outs. I returned with cash the next day I worked in that area. I offered to pay for the sandwich and he remembered me, but they couldn't accept the money because it would affect the till. I was insisting to give them the money to make it right. So the manager said that I could put it in the tip jar if I'd like and that's what I did. I'm not looking for praise or anything. This is what happened. I was really touched by their kindness and generosity. I will be sure to patronize this restaurant again and bring my wallet next time in case I mess up using Apple Pay again“
“A Latina and family owned local business with the best tortas in the business! I highly recommend The carnitas tortas, but anything on the menu is worth trying! On Sunday will have a seasonal dish for limited time only! A must try and the party subs are huge and delicious. Quick tip, you cal always call ahead to pick up your food!Just keep an eye out, because this place is located in the gas station!“
“Patrick has the Best service ever compared to other locations they’re always welcoming making conversation my sub was great as well the bacon was perfect, these guys are well trained and need a raise!!! I’ll be making the extra drive from miracle mile just to this “
“Marie's feels like a little staple of DTLA lunchtime. Their sandwiches are superb. Salads are spectacular. Service is supreme. This really is a lovely little deli owned by some lovely people who deserve support so that they can continue to provide this wonderful service to DTLA as long as they want to.“
“I travel around the state for work and "googled" sandwich and boy was i in for a treat! Got a basic turkey avocado asked for everything on it not really even knowing what that was and it was absolutely friggen delicious. Sauce was on point!“
“I never do reviews but after tasting Quiznos for the first time, I'd have to say it's an out of the world experience and I'm not exaggerating but probably one of the best subs I have had in my entire life, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone, the employees were nice and patiently waited for me to pick out what I wanted in my sub.“
“Wrap and Roll has been great for our company's catering needs. They accommodate 10-50+ and have a great sandwich platter that is delicious and with great presentation. The Marilyn Monroe salad is the best. Such great feedback from our teams and Wrap and Roll has the best service around!“
“The California sandwich is EVERYTHING. PERIOD. To me, this is the best sandwich in LA. It is always perfectly prepared. It's almost too pretty to eat. If you are in the neighborhood or seriously hungover, this sandwich will bring you back to LIFE!“
“Tony's has been a top sandwich spot for me. I don't usually eat sandwiches, but when I do, this place is the best. My top favorite sandwich is the pastrami with avocado. The Mexican tuna sandwich is excellent also. You can't go wrong with a sandwich from Tony's. The area is okay. There's plenty of parking in the back lot and street parking.“
“Than Huu makes an excellent Bahn Mi. The baguette is perfect, the ingredients are simple and fresh and there are basically two items on the menu. Bahn Mi and soup; the do have a drink and tea menu as well. The service is very kind, friendly and gracious. Than Huu does have little stools and tables in the middle of an asian bazaar in Chinatown.“
“I understand the topic of bad customer service these days has been beaten to death in the news and social media but this Philly’s location really took the cake.We went to pick up our phone order tonight and the young lady who charged us and handed us our bag was so unbelievably rude.My husband and I were very polite and for whatever reason got three eyerolls out of her in our 60 second transaction. We walked back in immediately because something was missing from our order and she acted like it was OUR fault. She gave it to us with an extra eyeroll before we left. We must have been inconveniencing her.Food here is fantastic, and that deserves at least 4 stars in my opinion, but I will not return to this location.“
“I just Walked into the place the other day to see what they sell. And the cashier was so friendly. She said her special was the ttlb in the store I decided to try it and fell in love ❤️So nowi found decided my happy place is the lokal sandwich ? ? yummy You will have my business every day.“
“I stumbled upon Mendocino Farms, and it was a delightful surprise. The ambiance is cozy with a touch of sophistication, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or a special occasion. The service here is exceptional. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to explain the different sandwich options and even suggested a unique combination that turned out to be a new favorite. Now, onto the food. The sandwiches here are a true culinary adventure. Each bite is a burst of flavor, and the attention to detail in crafting these masterpieces is evident. It's clear that they take pride in serving top-quality sandwiches. If you're a sandwich enthusiast or someone looking for a great meal in a charming setting with excellent service, you won't be disappointed here. This place exceeds expectations on all fronts – ambiance, service, and food quality.“
“I have been working with the manager for over a decade and I am so happy that he is now at a Long Beach location that is closer to the college I work at. As an administrator, I am always looking for efficient catering to provide to students and staff. Naveen always makes sure that catering orders are timely and made to perfection. If you ever need quality catering box lunches you should definitely try them out.“
“Haven't been to a Lee's in years and it's actually a pretty decent chain for what it is. Just a quick and cheap banh mi and a lot of other options that'll do the job in a pinch. We stopped by really early in the morning before a flight and it was short and sweet. We also grabbed some pastries too and they were very hot and yummy. It's not the cheapest in town but it's still worth it.“
“Miss Patty knows her way around a sandwich! Magic for your tummy. OJ’s Submarine Shop never disappoints. The shop is always clean and the sandwich ingredients are always fresh & delicious. Love this place! Try it & you will too. Nom Nom Nom ?“
“This place is excellent for getting nutritious and satisfying meals. Whenever I visit, I consistently choose the south of the border wrap, and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, and the taste is both delicious and fulfilling. I suggest trying their mango habanero dressing on the side – it adds a perfect spicy kick to the wrap. I highly recommend it, a solid 10/10.Food-10/10Service- 8/10Ambiance- 8/10SOUTH OF THE BORDER - spinach tortilla, grilled season chicken breast, romaine, black beans, cilantro, crunchy onions, avocado, tortilla chips, corn, cotija cheese, chipotle ranch dressing or cilantro pepita dressing“
“Really good sandwiches at a reasonable price. They take a few minutes to make, but that's understandable. Taking away one star because I'd really like to get food from there more often, but their hours are limited and it seems like at least 50% of the time I want to go there, they're closed.“
“Cannot thank the excellent staff at this Mendo Farms location enough! I placed a large order of over 14 different meals and drinks on a short notice and the staff made and fulfilled each meal to perfection. The excellent customer service didn't stop there - they packaged all the meals in one large bag for handling and accommodated two last minute meals in a timely manner. Thank you very much to the Mendo Farms staff!“
“Asian Chicken Salad: 2/5Skip it. Anyone can make this at home. Nothing special.Ultimate Chicken Sandwich on Ciabatta: 4/5The bread was crunchy and all the fixings inside made for a great tasting sandwich. I would reorder this any day.The staff here are very friendly. The order came out quick. Great spot overall. I'll be coming back often.“
“Ordered the Firehouse Salad for lunch on a Tuesday. I was told that they’re missing tomatoes and bell peppers. Not a good sign. I said that it’s fine. Opened up my salad and it was just basically lettuce and cucumbers with topping of ham. Tasted ok with honey mustard but I kinda felt jipped!Vegetarian options: Salad options availableKid-friendliness: Good place to bring kids. Very casual environment.“
“The people are really nice ! I got my brother a gift certificate which he enjoyed . I was surprise about that but it’s all good . I go quite often with my nephew and nieces they love the mango smoothie. For me tho I enjoy the lee’s ice coffee .Kid-friendliness: Nieces enjoy drinking their mango smoothies inside.Parking: There’s a big parking lot shared with other shops“
“This was my first visit and I can't wait to go back! They have a massive selection of sandwiches -Everything looked delicious! The staff was super helpful and answered all my questions. I picked the last one on the list -it had roast beef, lettuce, (I subbed pepper jack for the provolone it usually comes with), and Carson Sauce. The Carson Sauce is Dijon mustard + French dressing.......I do not like mustard, but this sauce - in this sandwich = It was the BEST sandwich I've ever had!!!! 10/10 + All the stars!“
“Came in today after an appointment with my kids. The girl in the front on the register was so polite and fun, had a big smile and greeted all the customers with a great attitude. Wish all places had great customer service like hers! The guys making the sandwiches had a great attitude too and we're happy to make your sandwich.“
“Excellent smash burger. I got the double wagyu smash cheeseburger and made it a combo with garlic fries and drink. Both are delicious. Anyone who is familiar with the Freddie's chain (Freddie's is not in CA to my knowledge), this is the style of burger here. Dipping sauce is 35c. The ranch dressing is actually good, made fresh, and not the weird generic bottled ranch most places give. (Sorry no pics, I was pretty hungry.)“
“The subs at Jersey Mikes, for me, are the best at creating that deli fresh taste from the NJ/NYC area I grew up eating! #13 classic Italian makes me feel like I'm back on the east coast or in Little Italy! Service here is always friendly and quick - everything is made to order but can't go wrong because you get exactly what you want! Inside they have a couple seats but not much ambiance per se - mostly a takeout spot!“
“The sandwich is price, about 15 bucks for one, but it is delicious. Their sourbread is amazing and the size is like 2 servings depending how hungry you are. I love their creative names. Only thing I didn't appreciate was the tomatoes I requested off, thankfully not allergic and could take it off. Other than that, it satisfied my sandwich craving. Also, their vegetarian section is commendable, they looked so tasty and I'm not a vegetarian myself but enjoy seeing the options for friends.“
“After a long day managing errands I was craving something good and filling. Thus I remembered this sandwich place that I pass occasionally when I head to work. Also I remembered it when my work place served sandwiches for a small party. The restaurant is small and the staff were very nice! First time getting something from here. What I ordered was the Handsome Owl, the sandwich I remembered eating at work. The Handsome Owl with vegan chicken and sour dough bread. I'm not much of a vegetarian person but that was a delicious meal. Got the combo with chips and a drink. Lovely meal ! The bathroom however is very funny. Gotta go through a maze, hey it's my first time here. But the bathroom was clean indeed. I enjoyed it and would like to come back to take something for lunch if I have the chance.“
“I love this place!!! The girls are super friendly. They were 9mins to closing time & they still attended me!! I always try to come here when my folks have a Doctor's appointment across the building Roybal. This place never disappoints has fresh quality sandwiches & delicious soups. I highly recommend. Thank You Daves Deli “
“let me start by saying this is my first review for a subway ever... i'm not usually blown away by exceptional customer service at a fast food joint but this time, i was. i wasn't greeted with a bland "welcome to subway" but with a warm "smize" asking me how i'm doing and how my day was going. i was expecting to go in and just grab my food and leave but the manager at this particular location made me feel so welcome and so comfortable i almost didn't want to leave lol. anyway, more about the food. my veggie delite with avocado that i always get tasted even better than before. the restaurant is clean and chips are stocked and i even saw them putting out fresh cookies. to the manager who made me feel so welcome -- i'm not too far, i will be back!!!!!!“
