“I really enjoyed trying this place out. It’s great to know that there is a place like this for healthy food options in Millbrae, I wish I knew about this place sooner. The owner was very kind, gave me ginger tea and explained how to order food from here. Loved eating chicken soup and wild rice!“
“Been coming here since the 90s. Food is not particularly spectacular or trendy but it’s nostalgic! If you grew up in Millbrae/Burlingame/San Bruno area, many of us ate here with friends and families. Something we must order is the Swedish pancake. It’s this thin pancake that comes with flavored whipped cream.Oh and the ambience is timeless… looked the same as 30 years ago except it’s well maintained and clean. Will always come back for a casual brunch when we are in town.“
“I used to write reviews for every place I went to. For the last year or so, I haven't written a lot. But I've decided to write one for this because I'm so surprised by the quality.I ordered a clam chowder soup in a sourdough bread bowl. This is one of my go-to meals around the bay. I wasn't expecting good quality, I just wanted something warm for my sore throat. The clam chowder was full of ingredients and a good amount of clam. What blew me away was the sourdough bread. It was toasted and delicious. I would rank this pretty high up on my list of clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls.“
“This is a very nice place to sit down and have a meal and/or a drink. I am 24 years old, but I went to the 2nd biggest party college in Ohio (LOL), and I am here on a 10 day business trip in the Bay Area, and I have to say Mr. Chad N. at the bar here at Grill & Vine, is by miles and miles the best bartender or server I have ever had the pleasure of having. A very kind and considerate individual, and all staff really, especially for such a busy environment. I was very pleased with my experience here.“
“Such a good and wonderful place that's certainly above any normal coffee shop, real friendly people and always seems to be no waiting, but somewhat busy on Sat. and Sundays. Plus Bart and train is just a 400 feet away. Its location is terrific with El Camino and Millbrae Avenue right out the front with plenty of parking.“
