“I was really craving some ice cream mid afternoon and saw Fosters Freeze was nearby with plenty of dessert options. They offered a new dipped waffle cone with peanuts which sounded exactly like what I wanted. You can pick vanilla, chocolate, or a mixed swirl for the ice cream flavor, costing a little over $5. It was quite messy to eat since it was melting quickly, but it definitely hit the spot. The peanuts are a nice touch and added a salty, nutty crunch. Fosters Freeze offers quite an extensive menu and the workers there are all very nice and efficient despite the consistent busyness of customers and orders. There is a good amount of parking available and the lot is kept clean. I don't think you're able to go inside the restaurant but there are a few tables outside for dining.“
“birria tacos and guac are excellent. great drinks and atmosphere are good toobirria tacos are fantastic and super cheap. highly recommendthe ceviche plus guac on top perfectly balances the limecocktails are balanced well (got paloma, mule, mai tai, sunrise) made by "silver dragon" and "Juan"“
“The dinuguan was a little sour but that is expected, sinigang as well. More veggies for the sinigang would have been nice. Service was fine. Names of the food by the container would have been helpful as to not offend the cashier when you ask for that "crispy shrimp thing on top of something fried."“
“We were there with a large group--about 25 people. They have a nice space for us. One waitress took our orders pretty much as we arrived. People even gave special orders and there were no problems. All the staff was very cheery and nice. The food was simple and tasty. Nice place for a meet up!Vegetarian options: Simple and a varietyDietary restrictions: All menu items are clearly labeled as to ingredientsWheelchair accessibility: Everywhere is wheelchair accessible“
“We visited this restaurant for the first time today and it was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is quite large and has a very authentic "retro" feel to it. They have all your favorites, I'm sure your grandma would love to join you for all day breakfast or dinner (they also have a very distinctive "eau of your grandma's house" scent, which adds to the overall experience).Food was plentiful and well priced. We had the following:-Veal Parmesan: Very similar in taste to what you'd expect from an eggplant parmesan. Didn't really care for the side of pasta. The meal also included a bowl of soup (we opted for clam chowder, which was delicious) and desert. The strawberry ice cream is great!!-Pastrami sandwich: very tasty and filling. It was an absolute treat. I'd skip the coleslaw tho, not my favorite.Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Will be coming back for breakfast next time!“
“I’m a big fan of hamburgers, and this place not only didn’t disappoint, it was super impressive. The burger was fantastic and the chili cheese tator tots were awesome. I was here on business and my hotel was close by, but I also ate her twice. Super good and I’ll be back!!!“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at Black Bear Diner. It's one of my favorite spots for brunch due to its variety, generous portions, and charming decor/branding. Personally, I adore their eggs benedict. Just a heads up, if you order anything with a biscuit, be prepared—they're quite substantial! Overall, the flavors are fantastic, the service is excellent, and there's plenty of parking in the adjacent lot.“
“These guys were terrific. My husband and I pulled in 10 minutes before they were closing and they were so kind in making us our sandwiches. We felt bad because we knew they were trying to close up but they were so considerate and said don't worry about it. We got you will make your sandwiches so my hat's off to them and they're fantastic cheesesteak sandwiches“
“We love coming here, it is our favorite place for my daughter and my husband. We always leave happy with the food and the service. I don't give 5 stars because sometimes they bring us bread when we are about to come and that is supposed to happen when one arrives otherwise ok.Parking: It has a lot of parking and you don't have to pay for it.“
“Flew in from New York this morning then caught a flight to California. I’ve dealt with a lot of people “customer service “ and this California trip to San Jose Dave and busters was by far the best experience because of Steve, he was soooo friendly and such a great person!“
“Both the food and the service were good but the noise level (mostly screaming kids) was beyond tolerable. Not sure if it was just bad timing or if the neighborhood (and so the clientele) is just prone to kids that run amuck? Too bad, too, because it's one of the few remaining ihop restaurants that are conveniently located for us.“
“Listen up yall, SAM is the best bartender your going to find around the area, you wanna learn about the origins of rum, tequila, bourbon, this is the man to talk too. My man's been to the patron plant in Mexico, he knows his stuff. Food is great drinks are great highly recommend.“
“Mil's Diner has been serving the community for years. It is located in the Milpitas Center, next to O'Reilly Auto Store and Goodwill. Retro decor, vintage pictures, booth style seats, and counter seating available. The service is very friendly and attentive. Better from the years, when we first visited. When they have time, they actually stop and chat with their customers. Something you don't see nowadays. Anthony, the owner, is very friendly and personable! I ordered the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. You have a choice of your style and choice of toast, English muffin, or pancake. I got my eggs poached and a pancake. The portion size was generous. The pancake had some good mass to it - very filling.“
