Classic diner experience, with great food at reasonable prices. I had the guacamole burger and my wife had the bacon cheeseburger. We both walked away quite full. They gave us a fun puzzle to keep our daughter occupied, as the ceiling mounted trainset also held her attention. The service was top notch as well. We were seated quickly and the food came quickly. Ruby's is about the only place left you can get a veggie burger. Like everywhere else, you can also get an impossible burger, but unlike all the others, they still serve veggie burgers. Most vegetarians are not looking for something that is trying to taste like meat. Like a lot of other vegetarians I know, we love the garden burger veggie patty just the way it is. Great place for kids to get their malt or shake as a reward for good behavior. Got the cookies and cream malt for them which they loved. Burger and fries were good. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is they usually put the malt in a glass cup with tin and they put in little white cups. Also the train wasn’t on which is a must for the kiddos. Should also have crayons for the kids. But food was good and we left happy.
