This place was a nice surprise after our first plan failed. We were there in the mid-afternoon so it was fairly quiet - just one other table and a couple of to-go orders. The hot and sour soup was almost perfect -- maybe a bit heavy on the tofu but I can't say for sure as I only had a cup as part of the lunch special. Stopped in to Beijing restaurant after shopping at Walmart on McHenry with a friend. I ordered honey walnut prawns (my go to at a Chinese restaurant). It was pretty good. We also had pot stickers, which were burnt :( but they still were edible. Next time, hopefully they won't burn them. But what really stole the show for me, was the salad the waiter brought. Beijing was the only place in my area that was still open on a Saturday night. We ordered Pork Fried Rice, Shrimp Chowmein, Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Potstickers. Overall, the food was DELICIOUS! Personally, I wasn't a fan of the potstickers because they were a mix of pork, chicken & shrimp but my hubby loved them! We will definitely be ordering again!
