Total hidden gem that I discovered (omg) 20 years ago. I have to say it's the closest you can get to authentic taiwanese food in Los Angeles. You will be sitting among loyal customers that visit at least a few times a week. The lady here is like an old friend and there is just her and the chef. This place is a mom and pop shop, and the lady who serves the tables is very nice. When I was there she asked me what I want to order, and would recommend that she think I should get. She also will make sure that I didn't get too cold by closing the door as the afternoon/evening time got a little cold with the breeze with the door open. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley Area. The owner of the shop is really welcomed and warm-hearted to make sure we would order the correct food as well as would truly enjoy them. Not expensive but delicious of family kind Taiwanese restaurant. Ones might date back to the time of their own family made Chinese cuisine.
