“Love this longtime community favorite. Highly recommend for an enjoyable dining experience without feeling rushed or pressured to keep things moving so they can turn your table for the next guest.”
“Went here on a Sunday. I loved how we were seated right away. It was a cold afternoon and they had a large fire place as well as heaters. The food arrived extremely fast. We tried the Brussels sprouts, German pancakes, and chicken tenders. The Brussels sprouts were delicious, the German pancakes were ok, they needed salt. My boyfriend loved the chicken tenders. The beer was also great. We both had flights, I noticed a man was setting up his music to perform a live show. Will definitely come back here.”
“We are regulars at the Town Bakery & Cafe. We eat there for weekend brunches and lunches, and once in a while for dinner. The food is off the charts, and the staff is super nice. They always make us feel welcome.”
“Our kids loved the bento boxes, and the staff were super friendly.Kid-friendliness: Great service, including surprise delivery of Cotten candy bags after the meal.”
“Their drinks are always good quality, and we have a few of our favorites, but for the first time, we ate their ramen there! Comes in a good size bowl with a ladle as a soon, and the tonkatsu ramen broth was flavorful. Not exactly ramen shop good, but definitely fills a void when you're itching for some noodles.”
“Really good food .Tell them the ginger man sent you. They will even change the food a bit.As of April 24th I see they have indoor dining again.Today lunch for me was the Wor Won Ton soup.I have had it many times because it is so good. You’d be hard pressed to find a better one.”
“Great food, I especially liked the breakfast burrito (you eat it with a fork and knife). It's street parking right in front of it and we ate outside, which was a little muddy but not bad. Service was excellent, we were sat quickly and were attended to well outside.”
“We've been to Pennini's many times over the years and have always been happy with the quality of the pizza and wings. Both come with ample toppings, provide a decent variety of choices, and never disappoint. To be clear, this is not a fancy, gourmet pizza place, nor does it pretend to be. The verdict - it's perfect for what it aims to be, a locally owned pizzeria with no frills and good pizza. On occasion, we have tried other, non-pizza options on the menu. For example, the burger and fish and chips. In general, these are okay at best (2.5 stars). I'm not factoring this into my overall rating as this is a pizzeria and, at that, they are solid. We will be back.”
“5 easy stars ! Came here for dinner with a friend at her recommendation. Very glad I did. The place is small but super cozy. Perfect layout with a wonderful interior design. You definitely feel a more special and upscale ambience. The food was wonderful. Complementary bred is served. A full bar made sure my friend was happy and the menu was wonderful with the options. I chose Prime rib while my friend chose ribs. We were both very happy. Large portions and very delicious. The service is efficient and super friendly. We both felt we were very much welcome to have our meal there. The prices are quite reasonable and that was just the icing on the cake. I do please to return soon and without any hesitation. If you want to simply enjoy some liquid refreshment, the bar is fully stocked and has seating right up front. I cannot recommend this establish any higher. Just make sure you come hungry.”
“Had a beautiful Holiday dinner with friends here! The fresh decorations, quality of ingredients, and delicious espresso was such a joy to experience. This location is beautiful for a dinner with parents, a date, holdiay party or anytime one wants to have a warm, welcoming atmosphere with delicious food and friends.I highly recommend this local and the owners are such beautiful people! Honoured to have had this experience and look forward to enjoying more times at this beautiful restaurant.”
“I just popped in to get a pizza for an event and the young lady could tell that I was in a hurry and so she asked the cook to make my pie right away. It's little things like that, that will have me always going back.”
“It is great Mexican food in Moraga with the correct price point, family run, I had a few meals from there back in the early 2000's but have been a consistent customer since 2013 (less these days unfortunately b/c I no longer work in Moraga). Enchiladas are excellent, friggin hard shell beef tacos (w/extra spicy salsa) out of this world, the hardshell taco must be eaten immediately on location.”
“The food varies day to day, but the drinks stay. If you like coffee, they have good options, if you like smoothies, they have you covered. The workers are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of tables, and comfortable chairs. A nice place to study or hangout between classes or when the cafeteria is closed.”
“The best place to have a family breakfast on the weekends. Inexpensive and perfect! Will be back for the piesVegetarian options: Went without meat on the 2 egger and it was filling”
“This is a fantastic restaurant. The buttermilk chicken sandwich and the tater tots are perfect. It’s a very pleasant place inside and out and the staff and owners are lovely. Taking my wife a Karaage chicken sandwich now because she loves spicy food and I think she’ll love this. First time of many visits, I’m sure!Kid-friendliness: Owners have kids - very welcoming. Kid friendly tables.”
