The prices have gone up like every other restaurant. But this place has several specials that will meet every ones budget. The rice and beans are phenomenal. I'm hoping to go back soon.
Carnitas Express is our favorite Friday night dinner spot and has been for many years. Staff makes an effort to know the regulars, cocktails are always great made by Maria, food is reasonably priced, and we love the casual welcoming environment!

There seems to be a lot of employee turnover, and it shows with all the mistakes their waitresses make now. I have been there three times this month, and all orders were wrong. We asked for more tea and salsa and finished our meal and never got what we asked.
