“Having frequented numerous esteemed restaurants in Napa, including the renowned French Laundry, I must admit that Bear has earned its place as my absolute favorite in the valley. From the moment we stepped through the door, the warmth of the service enveloped us, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. What truly sets Bear apart is its commitment to simplicity, freshness, and quality ingredients, all expertly woven together with intriguing flavor profiles that elevate each dish to new heights of culinary excellence. The concept of "progressive" American cuisine truly shines through, capturing the essence of California's culinary spirit while infusing it with the innovative flair of the talented chefs behind the scenes. So enamored were we with Bear that we made the unprecedented decision to cancel reservations at two other establishments in favor of returning to indulge in its offerings three times during our stay. Each visit proved to be a revelation, with every bite a testament to the chefs' skill and dedication to their craft. In sum, I cannot praise Bear enough. From the impeccable service to the inspired culinary creations, every aspect of our dining experience exceeded expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Bear to anyone seeking an unparalleled gastronomic adventure in Napa Valley.Thank you for creating such a remarkable establishment. I eagerly anticipate my next visit and the opportunity to savor the delights of Bear once more.Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating for all allergies (incl Gluten free)“
“Our experience at Grace's Table was mostly delightful. The cornbread with lavender honey was a unique and delicious starter. The empanada had a burst of flavors, and the gorgonzola gnocchi featured wonderfully soft and cheesy gnocchi. However, the chocolate cake for dessert was a bit disappointing—dense, dry, and not appetizing. Hence, deducting 1 star for that. Overall, a great dining experience with standout dishes, just a minor hiccup with the dessert.“
“This is my favorite spot for a burger and beer. The food is original and selections outside of the burgers are great too. I could live off the green pepper cheese burger with garlic / sweet potato fries (if I'm feelin froggy then both)“
“This was a bucket list experience for me as a life-long railfan. It was also a great time for the other four in my party. We had a perfect weather day, but the Legacy Experience provided great food and champagne to enjoy as we traveled through the vineyards on both sides of the track. We stopped at two vineyards, Charles Krug (operated by the Mondavi family now) and the V. Sattui winery. Both provided tasting of absolutely wonderful wines, a broad variety if white, rose, and reds. The service on the train quickly attended to every one of our desires.Whether you share my love of trains, or also share my love of great wines, the Napa Wine Train is a great experience!“
“We were in town for an annual work conference and were very pleased with this restaurant. The location in downtown Napa was great, and there is public parking (on street and free in a public garage) adjacent to the building. It felt like a fun, safe location and the downtown vibe was fun. The food was great - good variety, cooked exactly to our liking and the drinks were SO good! The blood orange margarita was to die for! Our server was very friendly, service was quick and efficient and prices were very reasonable for the quality. Everything was clean, including the restrooms. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you for a great evening!“
“First time to Fume'.. my father had the rosemary chicken and Cesar Salad. He said it was quite good. I had the beet salad.. it was terrific. Make sure to order the bread, its out of this world. Service was excellent, Ambiance was good. Can't wait to sit outside, looks quite nice but too cold today. Over all great experience!“
“My meal was delicious but the Pork selection that my husband had was like eating an inexpensive ham steak. He would've enjoyed much more a double cut juicy pork chop. Also the crostini topped with shaved truffle had no truffle flavor.“
“Local burger diner spot with good food, nice peeps and an excellent value. Located inside a local strip mall, with a couple of outdoor tables, about half a dozen tables inside and old fashion counter seating. Parking was plentiful on Saturday afternoon. We got a couple of their regular cheeseless burgers with various toppings, wanting to checkout how good they really are without over the top cheese skirt. The order was ready with 5-10 minutes paying at their order area. Made to order fresh ground beef and very fresh sesame seed bun with enough body to hold up the juicy slab of perfectly crusted ground cow. A perfect meat to bun ratio, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onions; all dressed in mayo, mustard and a pickles. Pro-tip...wrap the burger in one of the napkins to keep the juice from your shirt and hang on to the burger keep it from falling apart as you devour. Leaving the other hand for fries and beverage. It's pretty savage to eat with two hands but this meal deserves it. Fries are washed and double fried with a crisp bite. You know what I'm talking about. Soda fountain in back with a bottled beer assortment including drafts in the front...did I mention they have an happy hour special? We dropped but over 30 for two burgers, drink, a beer and large fries...real food for real people ducats. Proof that five star places, like the ones up and across the highway...including the other popular burger spot with two outlets nearby...you don't need a fat wallet and hype to get great meal.“
“I always celebrate family birthdays here. They are amazing, friendly, attentive and kind. The food is fantastic and they have vegan options. This is a place where the locals go too and you run into everyone.Thank you Hopcreek for always being hospitable, warm, welcoming and friendly!“
“Stuffed fresh toast was good, not overly sweet. Waffles and chicken was fair.. waffle was great, chicken wasn't my favorite. The meat was juicy but the crust was seasoned with rosemary (I think) and it was too much for breakfast in my opinion. The bacon was good, coffee was great and cute dishes.. all random and thought I was special by getting the Jesus mug!Parking: We were able to park curbside across the street but noticed a parking garage across the way.“
“Overall vibe is clean and friendly. Food was very good. We are from Atlanta and have been here a few days and this is a great breakfast find. We had the Nosh omelette and Chorizo scramble. Ask for the homemade salsa, one of the best I’ve tasted. “
“Excellent food, great atmosphere and terrific service. We started with the calamari which I highly recommend. My father had small Cesar salad, I had the pear salad. My father had corn beef and cabbage and I had the appetizer meat balls which were good. Excellent experience! Highly recommend!“
“One of the most beautiful resorts. The hotel is located in one of the most breathtaking locations. All the staff were so wonderful. The spa is exquisite and the so is the staff. It’s a great place to get a European custom facial from biologique recherche, you should try it. Loved everything about this place ?“
“We have driven past this place off of hwy 37 many times. Today, we stopped to eat. Well worth it. We ordered the Gumbo, bicuits and an order of Brussel Sprouts. First of all the honey / cinnamon butter for the biscuits is very addicting. They make it there. The place is tucked away and very quiet outside, even with the close proximity to the busy highway. Inside is clean and felt very open. The staff was friendly. The food came out pretty quick piping hot. If you have watched those guys on YouTube who do food reviews... the ones who get so animated over the delicious food. That was like us today. What is a Boon Fly?“
“We really love this place. Service is excellent and the small plates are perfect. The corn is truly delicious. We've had it twice and the first time the corn slivers were completely coated in sauce. Second time, only a little. I hope they are consistent with completely coating each piece. Sliced steak is great. Those totchos are WOW. Get them if you like food. I appreciate that you can get well mixed cocktails and higher end booze that you don't commonly see. I will mention again that the service is excellent. It deserves a double mention.“
“I have been coming here ever since I was a kid. 28+ years later and it's still amazing! Guacamole, Bacon & Cheddar burger or the Tri Tip dinner is my favorite. I moved to Texas 12 years ago, but I try to hit Red Rock whenever I'm in town. BEST BURGERS IN THE WORLD!!!! I also feel they have the best Tri Tip I have ever had. And don't forget about their incredible BBQ sauce. My family has even sent it to me because it is just my type. Love it! Service is always great. Back when I was a regular, they were always friendly, always remembered me, and always knew my order..."are you having the burger today or the tri tip?" You can't beat service like that! The place is a cool little restaurant that has a real home feel to it. Great decor and a cute collection of salt & pepper shakers that I'm happy to see they still take seriously. Over the years I have had great meals and great memories here. Kinda holds a special place for me. Add the great food and great service, and it's an all around great place. The other location is good too, but the Lincoln location is my favorite.“
“THE ABSOLUTE BEST fried chicken sandwich and smash burger anywhere!! The fries are unreal. Crunchy but not burnt, just done right! Just a few items in their menu but they do it all the way it should be! Catch this truck when you can! Do it for yourself, you won't be disappointed!!“
“We had a wonderful experience here! They easily accommodated our large group, even when the number of people in our party kept fluctuating. They separated out all of our checks (it was a lot) and never rolled their eyes, like what happens at so many other places. Everyone was super friendly, our servers were fun, attentive and quick and the food was delicious. This is a fun spot in downtown Napa and within walking distance to several other fun places. We highly recommend it and will be back when we return to our work conference again next year. Can't thank everyone at Kitchen Door enough for their great hospitality and for welcoming our group so kindly. Thank you!“
“We visited Napa from Southern Oregon and dined here early, just before 5pm. My husband is a Korean War Veteran and I' a couple decades younger. He had his favorite: braised short ribs and I couldn't resist one of my top temptations: scallops (new diet be damned!). The food was wonderful and the young lady server was attentive and helpful without hovering. The maitre d', in honor of my husband's war service, arranged a special surprise for us to accompany a surprise dessert. The seating and layout worked well for us, as my man uses a transport wheelchair for distance but sits normally at the table--but he does need a nook or edge of the room for hearing. Napa Valley Bistro has it all; room for big gatherings, and romantic corners and service to die for.“
“I was SUPER excited to see this new burger spot pop up in the plaza. They took over the old Q BBQ spot, situated in the same plaza as Whole Foods, Trader Joes, OSH Hardware (you get the idea). wts -- you'll know what a pain in the behind it can be sometimes to get in here, it's always busy and there's parking but shiesh, come w/ patience, especially if it's the weekend. Tried their burger and chicken sandwich, both of which taste extremely good. Freshly made w/ unlimited amounts of pickles (they make their own!). They do use brown sugar for their lemonades, which was my first time trying it. At first I was like WT Southern F is this. I had to get use to it. It's still just aight imo. Tried the strawberry lemonade to see if there was a "difference," idk why, lol, there's wasn't any difference other than it had strawberries in it haha. I'd still get it, it was good. I wasn't a fan of their garlic fries, but the kid smashed through those like their life depended on it. All in all, this spot made it to my regular rotation when fast food calls. They have indoor and outdoor seating. You can order through the kiosk or go to the counter to talk to a human. Always friendly, well this location .. I'll have to do another review for another location I went to. Calm down, it was cool there too.“
“We found this place on yelp after we finished our tasting at Trintas. It wasn't busy at all for a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm. A group was leaving when we arrived. We were a bit confused where it was located. It's like in the industrial area. We found out that Avinodos and J. Moss were the same. J. Moss is the winemaker. We picked the Classic Wine tasting $40 and Library Wine tasting $55. Then we added on 2 more wines for $5 each. So we ended up trying all the wines on the menu. We liked the Oak Knoll District Malbec, Oakville Cabernet, and Diamond Mountain Cabernet. Jasmine was our server and she was nice. The wine pours were generous. She even gave us a quick tour in their wine processing room and barrel room. She was informative. They even gave us complimentary dried fruits, dark chocolate, crackers, and nuts platter to go with the wine. Nice touch. They also wipe down the table and seats before we sat down. We brought our own charcuterie and fresh fruits to enjoy too. They don't seem to mind. Easy to park on the street. It's a pretty empty area.“
“My wife and I went to have lunch prior to seeing a performance at the Blue Note. Conveniently located two blocks away from the venue. Menu prices are slightly on the high side but comparable to downtown Napa. Great music, bathrooms were clean, no debris anywhere. The food was good, the waitress was great. However, the only downside is when we were packing up our leftover food to go. The busboy, instead of bringing boxes to the table for us to pack, he took our food and packed it in the kitchen. The problem was I left mashed potatoes on my plate with a piece of chicken. He threw away the potatoes and boxed the chicken. Needless to say, when I got home to eat my leftovers, I was angry the busboy tossed my potatoes. Will I patronize this restaurant again, definitely! Will I let anyone box up my leftovers...definitely NOT!“
“It’s a little building on the parking lot. Packed with a ton of delicious items on the menu. Love the burgers, grilled cheese, salads, chicken wrap, fish n chips, sweet potato fries, onion rings, so much more. Milkshakes made with ice cream. Nice people work here. There’s a drive through window.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian available but you can always say leave off the meat and add more lettuce, tomatoes, etc.Parking: If you can’t park in front, there’s an open parking lot across the street. Always spots open.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide open door with a low threshold. Nowhere to sit if it’s bad weather. All seating is outside.“
“Ali and the staff was so attentive and provided excellent service. They went the extra mile to ensure that me & my loved ones were having a good time. The environment was warm & friendly. Carpe Diem is always my go to place to take my friends when they come to visit me in Napa. The food and the drinks is so delicious, make sure to order their espresso martini's!“
“Bomb hotel breakfastThis breakfast is bomb. Somehow this was included in our stay. We tried their farmers platter, breakfast burrito, salmon bagel, omelette, fruit platter, berry smoothie, and granola. One theme was in common - made to order, fresh, and delicious. Try it!“
“First time at Mustards Grill, food was definitely a highlight of our trip to the Napa Valley. Husband and I especially enjoyed the crispy calamari. I’m used to having only lime or a dip with calamari, but the salad dressing on the cabbage was bright and flavorful with only a slight curry taste. The famous pork chop did not disappoint, paired with a red cabbage and potatoes. Lamb was tender and cooked perfectly. We had a side of cornbread and a special chocolate cake that was so luscious. Thanks for a nice time!“
