We've got Napa's top Mexican restaurants covered for you.
“I've lived in Napa since I was 8 years old and I'm 26, I've eaten at almost every truck in Napa at least once and this is still the #1 spot that I frequent. Pastor is absolutely delicious but you can get anything on the menu and it's going to be great. I usually get a Super Burrito or Vampiros with Pastor, everything on them and hot with a pepper on the side. It's great every single time and everyone I introduce it to thinks the same. If you like good consistent and not to mention fairly priced compared to 95% of Napa then go here.P.S. The Owner along with his Wife are extremely nice and do a lot for the community, if you're interested look into their Instagram posts. @tacosdoncarlos“
“Looked for a quick bite to eat when driving Napa. Found El Sabor Serano on Yelp and it did t disappoint. Family run (loved the hostess and chef, both were really friendly), with a home cooked feel / taste. Nothing fancy or over the top. Definitely a authentic place for tacos -of every protein type! Ordered: chorizo, asada, and brisket - the best was the Asada was the best in my opinion. Tender and juicy without the big pieces. Will be ordering again for sure!“
“Best Mexican food truck in Napa if you’re asking me.Wheelchair accessibility: The food truck is parked next to an auto shop. The driveway is more like a dirt road but the fort is compact enough for a wheelchair to access the truck, order and eat on the premises.“
“Just ate here for the first time- Wow! Loved everything! The food is fantastic and the service was even better. They really care about their customers having the best experience. We all loved our meals. My sister had the Cubano sandwich and said it was delicious. I ordered the Chilaquiles with salsa verde and they were the best- I loved the quality of the ingredients and they gave me multiple hot sauces including a fresh habanero, in addition to the wonderful salsa verde.I will definitely be back to try more items off their menu- probably the Huevos Rancheros next time!“
“WOW absolutely delicious. the truck came into benicia to a local brewery, so we swung by for some tacos and a drink. the asada street tacos were exactly the street tacos you wanted. light, full of flavor, delicious tortillas. the red salsa was perfectly spicy, and the green had great flavor! and then the birria tacos. don't even get me started! they were phenomenal. a plate of 3 with a large side of sauce. so much cheese deliciousness, you can't come here without the getting birria! hopefully they come back to benicia so I can get more“
“This is a small place. I personally think exactly what you expect. Food is good. Margaritas, though a premix, sneakily strong, sweet but good. Server was super sweet, professional and accommodating. Family type atmosphere. Nothing gourmet but I’d definitely go back.“
“I used to eat here a lot, but they acquired new owners and the service was so poor that I stopped going there and haven't been in years. Then last night a friend suggested we go there as we have both been hearing the name of this restaurant come up frequently recently. The food was good, but was just average like you'd find at any Mexican restaurant. They do have a nice looking bar though and a patio to dine on when the weather permits and the bright, colorful decor was welcoming. I am happy to say that the service that we received was great, everyone was friendly, smiling, and acted like they were happy to be there! So I don't know what's changed, but I am happy to have another family restaurant to go to.“
“Omg. This place was out of this world. I'm amazed at this place, and how good it was. Food came fast, was hot and delicious, and service and staff was incredible. 10/11Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options foe almost everything“
“If there was a 6 star option I would select it! I work around the corner from this truck and eat here a least a couple of times per week. It is consistently great. Asada, pastor, pollo...all fantastic. Tacos, burritos, nachos and quesadillas. All great! For a treat, try the fish tacos! As if that wasn't enough, the owner is a great guy and alway happy to see satisfied customers. They take great pride in everything they serve and it shows. You can't go wrong eating here!“
“I wish we took pictures of all the tacos we had, but obviously we forgot! We devoured their carnita & carne asada tacos; SOOO SOOO GOOOOD!! All their tacos are full of meat with EVERYTHING on it, beyond expectation & if you have a craving for GOOOOOOD tacos - go to their truck! You won't regret it! Their carne asada tacos have a kick to it too! ENJOY!! & yes, completely worth it!“
“I go here everytime I'm having home made tacos. I don't mind the drive from fairfield the tortillas are really good. It reminds me of my home town in México because I can get freshly made tortillas. I'm so happy that they are opening another one in Fairfield soon“
“Glad I stopped. We had a plate of Camarones a la Diabla and a Mixed Fajita Plate that was pretty good all by itself. But pouring a little bit of sauce from the Camarones made it awesome.Smaller eating area in the front but looks like some good outside eating when it gets bumping.“
“My old pal Oscar Needleflapper needed my truck to move his big Rotary Twigglestick and we drove by the Tacos Chavez truck and decided to have a taco plate before delivering the Twigglestick to his winery there on Coombs street. What a great place to grab some wonderful Mexican food, the tacos and burritos were perfect and some of the best I've ever had. ☆☆☆☆☆“
“Saw this truck as I was driving by today. I pulled up and saw that they had a three taco combo called Ta Quero Mucho Combo. I also saw an other photos here on Yelp that they have birra tacos. However I wanted to get three tacos because I had the appetite for it so I opted for going for the three taco combo. Long story short I ordered a carnitas taco, El pastor taco, and carne asada. They really do pack a tacos quite good here and I must say I tried the carnitas taco first and the carnitas was okay. It had some good flavor to it and it was tasty but it was missing that outside char that gives it a crispy outer texture. However the El pastor and asada tacos were definitely hitting. They tasted very good. All 3 tacos were dripping meat juices and when you put the lime and green/red sauces...mmmm mmmm The beans also tasted really good. It wasn't too salty but had a nice creamy consistency. The rice was ok and had some flavor. They also give you a roasted jalapeno, radish and pickled carrots. Service was also very good. The lady was helpful in describing what the tacos mucho combo contained. Also everything was cooked fresh and came out hot.“
“Great BBQ! It's a diner in the bowling alley, you have to order at the counter, but that's not a problem for us. I'm not sure why they aren't spotlighting their BBQ but it was delicious. Several of us had the sliders and with the coleslaw on top and extra BBQ sauce, they were amazing. My husband had the 3 meat plate and it was a nice sized portion for a big eater. Seemed reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Go try it!“
“My last meal before departing Napa for points south and east, my friend brought us to Tannya's. Definitely one of the least expensive meals I've had in this part of California. Which is not to say that there was any tradeoff for deliciousness. It's a taqueria so I chose tacos. They also have burritos and platters and such. But my three taco plate with beef, chicken and al pastor. Delicious authentic tacos topped with onions and cilantro and some rather spicy pickled carrots. Oh so good.Parking: Free adjacent parking lot.“
“We came an hour a half before closing on a Saturday. It was pretty empty, only two other tables occupied. The waitress was kind and attentive the whole time. The food was ok. Chips and salsa were the highlight. I tried the Chile relleno and cheese enchilada plate. The beans and rice were good, and the enchilada was better than the Chile relleno. They just lacked flavor. The Jamaica and horchata Aguas Fresca were yummy! I'd return to give them another shot and try something different.“
“I like their ice cream flavors. The lime, rainbow, pecan, and cookies and cream are good. I really like their banana slip. But when my boyfriend was about to pay the card reader was really working. He told the cashier. She grabbed the card reader and pressed the 20% tip button without asking. She decided to take advantage of the situation and pressed the highest tip section. We were gonna leave her tips but in cash. Just be careful, guys. Don't let the cashier take away the card reader and press any button for you.“
“Have Eaten at this resteraunt for years. Since it was located on soscol. Still perfect everytime! Affordable. Simple ,humble atmosphereParking: Definitley tight spot. However not far to find a few open spots even on the busiest days. Its in a shopping mall area so generally always busy“
“Our family tradition is to go to Freda's for our Christmas Eve dinner each year. And Freda's did not disappoint again this year. Love the Pollo Encebollada is amazing, as is the Carnitas. Actually, everything on the menu is worth trying. We'll definitely be back next year (and before!)“
“Heard from a friend a few months ago that this was the best burrito truck he has ever had. I finally stopped by on a Friday night to try it, and he was right. The burrito was huge, and the flavor was amazing. I'm not sure what they are doing different, but the flavor is very unique, and delicious. I went with the super steak burrito, and ate the whole thing because I couldn't stop eating it, it was so good. Do yourself a favor if you are in the area, and grab a bite to eat from here.“
“First time visiting Los Agaves. Fun crowd and great birthday destination! There were several other birthday parties going on and the staff sings happy birthday with flan which was a surprise for me and birthday person?service was good, attentive but not hovering or rushing us. Guacamole, salsa and chips were all very good as was dinner. Friendly staff and overall a great experience.“
“Where the LOCALS shop for hispanic foods and go for delicious Mexican Food. It is a market and a restaurant. There is a small RESTAURANT inside, in the back of the store with 4 small tables. You can eat there or take your food to go. ?They serve tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas(sandwiches), nachos, and soups. ????The market has many Mexican products and pan dulces. It is a little small and an older building. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but if you know what you want ahead of time, you can also call in an order to pick-up.“
“The drinks and the bartender were phenomenal. The hostess forgot to come find us at the bar...not a big deal...but all in all the service was good, the food was great. Excellent presentation. The food quality was decent. The setup for our table was very pretty.“
“Easy free parking. Had 3 taco combo w 3 dif seafoods- shrimp, octopus & fried fish. Order came up in just a few min. Each was brimming w ingredients, all were very flavorful. Octopus was particularly tender w nice grill flavor. Nice looking place, clean & bright. 3 big tacos w chips & drink was 20 bucks and change, seemed reasonable. All was perfect for a tasty quick lunch. Recommended.“
“WOW!I was going to stop at the Mexican restaurant by the high school but I had my pal Ringwally Stinkfinger with me and he was in a hurry to get back to his Hyperlooper shop there by the lumberyard so we stopped at the Trattoria Mexicana truck for Chimichangas, they were the best I've ever had. ☆☆☆☆☆“
“I was out for lunch with my pal'et Theresa la Bomba and she wanted to have enchilada de pollo from the Taqueria La Jerezana Truck, and I said we should go to a restaurant. Theresa said No! Taqueria La Jerezana makes the best, we'll go there. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“
“Great place to eat while charging your Tesla!I was initially concerned by what some of the reviews said but decided to try it anyways, what a great decision I made! You must eat this right away otherwise it gets soggy, I love Hawaiian pizza so I got the Hawaiian torta and it was incredible. This is a real delicious gourmet food truck, hidden in this shopping mall parking lot.“
“My husband and I know this as the red taco truck with the grapes on it- and it is a MUST STOP. If you're reading this, I don't care if you've just eaten a meal, stop by for a shrimp taco. I promise- life. Changing. One of my favorite bites. The shrimp is so fresh and bright, well seasoned with a bit of grill char. The hot salsa is out of this world delish. Im usually a 2 taco girl, but I can eat 3 or 4 of these, not because they're small but because they're that good. I've literally never ordered anything else, because it was love at first bite with the shrimp tacos.“
“This place was a recommendation by someone who lives near the place. I pulled up, ordered 2 tacos buche and 2 tacos cabeza. The order was in a timely manner, minor inconvenience that the sodas are in a hidden compartment underneath the window. it's a learning curve for those of us not familiar with it. Once I took a bite, the tacos were like my favorite bts song, smooth like butter!!!!! Buche and cabeza are the smoothest cut and this place did not fail. You can also tell that the place is good because a diverse amount of folk were pulling up to order and eat! Definitely go !!!!! Definitely order tacos !!!!!!!!!!!“
“This is one of my favorite places to eat when my visiting Napa with my family. The service is always awesome and everything we have tried on the menu is wonderful.Parking: It’s easiest to park in the free parking garages. Make sure you read where you are parking.Kid-friendliness: It’s great for all ages.“
“Service was amazing! Waitresses were attentive and always checking in on you. The food was good. The only reason I gave a 3 was because of their salsa. It tasted like tomatoe sauce. The salsa that came out with the meal was on the sweet side. Plus, the menudo had no option to add hominy. ?“
“I've driven past this restaurant dozens of times on my way to another truck but this time I'm stopping. Damn glad I did too because the simple tacoitos and enchilada I had were perfect, rich in flavor and texture, they're outstanding.“
“This place is worth the wait! We loved the bloody Maria and uncle wigs and having drinks in line from the walk up window. Their tacos, concha’s, and chilaquiles all had great flavors, and good variety of vegetarian brunch items. The food and service was fast once you ordered and sat down.“
