Cony is an institution in National City. The service at the place is friendly, kind and very patience, my wife and I loved getting to meet Grace she did an awesome job as it waitress, had evening ready and ordered very fast for us. Pozole is delicious. Service is lacking- I was sat and no one ever took my order nor did they bother to offer me coffee or water while I waited . So I went to cashier to ask for order to go . Waiter was leaning on the kitchen bar preoccupied thinking day dreaming idk- but unacceptable. I will not be coming back. Cash only type of place

Service was slow at best, but not without them trying. After standing in line for about ten minutes, a lady came out, asking "telefono" so I said yes and pointed to my wife who was near the front. We had called our order in about 45 minutes beforehand. This place was recommended by my wife's coworker, and it didn't disappoint.
