“Amazing authentic Thai food. The basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice, mango salad and veg spring rolls were so delicious. The freshness and flavor of the fried rice dishes were soooo good. Service was also very good and took all our food preferences into consideration. Overall we had a very good experience. We would highly recommend this place.“
“Excellent Food - I love their Black Pepper fish and their Thai Spicy Chicken. One of the best Halal restaurants out there... they serve everything in plastic - plates & forks - similarly don't expect much in the way of ambience or decor - we mostly just get food to go.“
“This is my go to Thai restaurant. My favorite dish is the lunch special "Red Curry Prawn". I like the prawns simmered in coconut milk with red curry, and pineapples, tomatoes, bamboo shoots, peas, bell peppers, Thai basil. The red curry with coconut milk has a hint of sweetness, which I like it very much. By the way, you can choose the spicy level based on your preference (default spicy is medium). I like the Lunch Special version because it also comes with salad, fried spring roll and sour soup.“
“Great find for Thai food. For spice lovers like myself, if you ask for spicy, they WILL make it spicy, so proceed with caution. Drunken noodles are great! Come for lunch if you can, the entree-drink combo for $18 is really worth it! Can’t go wrong with Thai iced tea here. I did find the fried tofu to be a bit bland, so maybe skip on that if that applies to you. Overall, really nice place and very welcoming staff!“
“Been here a few times, had good experience in every visit. The food quality and taste are very consistent.Mango salad is one of my favourites. I like iy spicy. Satay as well the peanut sauce definitely praiseworthy. Garlic fish was crispy but I have had better garlic fish at other thai restaurants. Tom yam soup was good but little too sour. The place serves many types of deserts including crepes. I tried sticky rice with mango, it was good.I recommend this place for thai food lovers.“
“This place is a hidden gem! It is run by a sweet family that welcomes you with a warm smile and cooks the best Thai food I have had in Bay Area in the longest time! It’s hard to find comfort food in a setting that is welcoming and this place hits the nerve! And what’s better than an amazing restaurant that has private parking in Palo Alto? ?“
“One of my favorite Thai restaurants to go to! This place has incredibly reasonable prices and food quality is really. Food portions are really big and they taste really good. I usually get BBQ Chicken Dinner. It comes with shrimp fried rice with their special sauce. The place is really nice too though they should start replacing old lightbulbs with new ones. It’s pretty dim here, but doesn’t really change the fact that this restaurant is good for eating. Staff are very friendly when they use simple greetings to say hi to customers.I honestly bet that everything there is good based on foods I had here. Definitely will come back for more!“
“The food was ok first time going there and definitely trying a second time to see if it changes my mind to great. all restaurants have there bad days so I’m giving it a second chance server was nice and friendly and brought air water and drinks right away .“
“Very nicely decorated place serving various types of SSEA food like Thai, vietnamese and Singapore. Weird combination of menu but it works out pretty nicely. I had the boat noodle and the portion seems like never ending..Very generous portion, great flavours and reasonable pricing! Will be back again to try other dishes.“
“Just found my new favorite Thai place in the Mountain View/Sunnyvale area for pad see ew! Pretty good portion size. Love that they use gai lan with broccoli. The beef protein was interesting in that it was more of a thin shabu-shabu style slice than a thicker "chinese-style" cut. Definitely would come back here again for the Pad See Ew and to try other dishes!“
“Great Thai food. My wife and I just moved back into the area and have been trying to find a decent Thai place. We both love Thai food! This place was wonderful. Fresh noodles for the pad kee mao and the curry was light and flavorful. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The prices are reasonable as well. This will be a regular spot for us and we can’t wait to branch out and try the street food options. Great menu and unique selection. Loved it!“
“Below is my rating.Food - 9/10Ambience- 6/10Service - 2/10Cleanliness - 5/10Price food worth- 6/10As mentioned above Food taste was great. Ambience is good but its not spacious. Servers weren't good at all they seemed very uninterested. The cleanliness was okish. I would say its pricey. We were 5 people and bill came upto 126$They took 18$ as gratuity automatically in the bill which I felt weird hence I didn't tip at all.Vegetarian options: Few veg options are available.“
“I love this place! First of all, the environment is great, the set up look very beautiful and cultural. We had a party of 12 coming in and we were taking care of by the owner and one of the servers. They even decided to close late to let us finish our birthday celebration! The food is pretty good and they have a very diversity of food and everything is cool great and the food is also serve fast. I will recommend anyone to go there“
“I absolutely LOVE this place! It is one of my favorite places to eat in Palo Alto! I love the 3-piece Hat Yai Chicken and Rice with the sweet chili sauce. The chicken is always crunchy and the pickled carrots and daikon, crispy onions and cucumbers are just the perfect combination! The portion is perfectly filling without overwhelming! The staff are always polite even during really busy hours. They can get quite busy after 5, so sometimes the wait can feel a bit long, especially if you're really hungry! The front end always looks clean and orderly. There are a lot of people that come through whether they order for pick-up or at the counter. The location is convenient, especially to Stanford. It is also right next to Palmetto Superfoods, which is an acai bowl shop, which is my favorite placed to grab an acai bowl! Even though the plaza is always busy, we always manage to find a parking spot.Definitely recommend you stop by and grab something to eat!“
“It was my 4th visit to this place. Food is good, authentic taste. I liked the consistency of the food quality. I can say the place is gaining popularity based on number of guests for lunch on weekdays.I loved the mango salad, the ingredients were of high quality including fresh leaves. The fish dish was very good, the sauce had the typical taste, the eggplants were cooked perfectly. Padthai was standard. The only thing I did not like was baby corn in cashewnut chicken. Ohh, I should mention about the thai milk tea, it was awesome!!“
“Came for lunch. Tried to skip carb and eat healthier and asked if I can have veggie as replacement. The waitress was flexible and agreed to change it without extra charge. Food came fast. My soup was delicious, although the replaced bean sprouts were scanty. Can't ask for more when they were nice enough to modify for you.Basil chicken and yellow curry chicken were both tasty. Yet the papaya salad was unbearably sour and tasted terrible, it also had fishy smell. I've never had papaya salad this bad. The recipe was a disaster.Service was very nice. Staff was polite and attentive. Would probably come back to try other dishes.“
“This restaurant is consistently amazing!! It’s difficult to pick a favorite dish since their curries and noodle dishes are so spectacular (and I also highly recommend the mango fresh rolls). Beyond the food, everyone that works here is INCREDIBLY kind and friendly. It feels like a family restaurant and makes you feel like part of the family! Go eat lunch or dinner there right away!!“
“The best take out Thai food I’ve ever had! I love their yellow curry. It’s sweet and savory with a little spice. I like it mild, so I ordered no spice! Love their pineapple fried rice, their wasabi walnut prawns, their roti, and the green curry, too. This is our go to spot. It is dark and small to eat in, but we love to take out!“
“Have been coming here for Years and years even before the remodel when it was just a tiny little hut in the middle of the parking lot, the quality back in the day was probably a little bit better but it's still my go to spot when I am in the area, give it a try!!P.s. they have a very nice [ shoes off ] sit down area that some people will appreciate, if you are into that kind of thing, dine in and check it out“
“Family style meal for 4 adults + 2 children. Each dish was good. What prompted me to leave a review: 2 curry dishes were served (not pictured), and a few minutes later, the waitress said they weren't for us, and we watched her throw them both into a bus tub. That seemed unnecessary, why waste it all?“
“The atmosphere was absolutely lovely, perfect for our anniversary dinner. The food portions were generous; enough for two to share on one plate. It was definitely worth the price. Our server was friendly and helpful, offering suggestions on portion sizes. I'll be returning to this restaurant without a doubt.“
“I love their pineapple fried rice! I'm not a fan of pineapple fried rice because of how sweet they're usually cooked. The shrimp tastes like real shrimps(not the crumbly/artificial type iykwim), and the pineapple also tastes fresh(not the super sweet canned ones). It's hard to find food nowadays that isn't too sweet/salty/artificial tasting.“
“The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. I came in on a moderately busy day and I was seated immediately. I was offered beverages and appetizers I didn't know what to order immediately (the waiter gave great suggestions). I will definitely come back again.“
“Food is yummerz and service is superb. We had a super kind waiter who didn't rush us even though we stayed a little after closing. Initially, the serving portion looks light for what you pay for but it is actually quite filling. My friend and I loved our noodles ???“
“We stopped by for dinner here which happened to coincide with their Happy Hour! I had Red Curry with Rice and an order of the Veggie Egg Rolls. My guest ordered a soup and Chicken Noodles.I liked the spices of my dish but the rice was too soggy with too much sauce in the serving dish.Would like to come back and try their specials next time specially since they have food selection of good IPAs at the bar.“
“They always cater to all of our requests / restrictions that we have for gluten-free, dairy free and also onion free and garlic freeDietary restrictions: They always cater to all of our requests / restrictions that we have for gluten-free, dairy free and also onion free and garlic free“
“We came on a Monday evening which is a slow night in general so the restaurant was very empty. We ordered the Bulgogi bowl, spicy pork bowl and cheese Bulgogi fries. It was a great value meal because of the amount of food there was in each bowl. The food tasted good but since it was a slow evening for them, I think a lot of their food is made in advance. Elements like the meat and the egg don't come out super hot and fresh tasting. Maybe it would be different if it was a busier night and they were making items to order. The Bulgogi cheese fries were decent but the areas with the cheese got soggy really quickly. Probably wouldn't order that again. I would recommend this place for the great value and comforting food. I just wish some of the key components of the bowls were made to order so it's hot and fresh tasting.“
