I had a disappointing experience at Famous Market in North Hollywood. I purchased what I expected to be fresh ham, but upon inspection, I found that the ham was clearly past its prime. The appearance and odor of the ham were off-putting, indicating that it was well past its expiration date.Unfortunately, the customer service also fell short. When I brought the issue to the attention of the staff, I was met with indifference and a lack of concern. There was no effort made to rectify the situation or offer a suitable resolution.In addition to the outdated ham, the overall cleanliness of the store was subpar, adding to my dissatisfaction with the entire experience.I had high hopes for Famous Market, but the quality of the products and the lack of customer service have left me with a negative impression. I will not be returning and cannot recommend it to others based on my experience.

This is a very tiny place, not good in a bit for handicapped people. Employees and managers don't help much. On top employees don't speak a word of English. So if there is no bilingual people present there it will be almost impossible to make any purchase. I guess these owners only focus in their community. But business permits must have minimum requirements: like speak English for all employees.

My ebt was used yesterday at 4:20 pm September 8th and my card was deducted 279.00$ I live in riverside California and found out while at the checkstand in riverside when I had no funds because someone in that "famous market has my information on my card that I have in my wallet. Definitely scamming going on in this market. I've reported fraud and they are investigating.

A grocery shop, packed with verities of groceries, fresh produce, candies and other products many of them are imported. Very clean and good customer service, reasonable price. Store front parking.

Went there today and only one of the many employees was wearing a mask. At least 3 Customers inside the store also without masks .When I asked for the Manager , the cashier who was the only one wearing a mask she offered to help me. I asked why they are not enforcing GOVERNOR'S MANDATORY WEARING A MASK ORDER , for employees and customers she explained that Health Department told them that they can't force anybody to wear them!!! She even asked me if was watching the news!!! What a joke!!!Maybe they are watching Armenian news or they simply think they are above the law but in this store nobody cares for either customer or employees health. Please don't go there, it is not safe. If these people don't care to wear mask to protect you, the customer, they won't care to sanitize and cook clean and healthy food either.

I get catering from here. Food is really good; the kebabs, cuts of meat, rice & love their hummus. I only took off one star because there are times they don't understand English so I end up getting the wrong order or not ordering because they don't understand me. Most often, I get transferred to a person that understand though. I've also gone in & felt like I got attitude from the butchers helper but I'm sure it must've been miscommunication. Also, very good prices! Don't forget to order their bread early, before it sells out.
