House of Pastry has been in business for a very long time. Lots of pastries to choose from. I like getting these cookies called Pyramid. Made with honey. It's so addicting and delicious. They also have ready cakes to go for a last minute birthday or celebration. Custom cakes can be ordered in advance, they can pretty much make any size cake you need. You can even buy imported boxes chocolates from this bakery. Customer service is inconstant here but overall it's ok.

Thanks to a friends referral I discovered House of Pastry a cute family owned bakery with a huge selection of delicious desserts and cakes. Their pastries are beautiful and delicious. This is my new go to bakery for last minute and custom made cakes and desserts! Service was great, highly recommend them.

THIS HIDDEN GEM IS AMAZING!!!! I had my wedding yesterday and our cake was made by House of Pastry. We kept forgetting to schedule a consultation in advance so they went above and beyond helping us. They provided same day samples so we could pick our flavor, ASAP. We went in with nothing more than, "make it Christmas theme" as a concept for the design. They showed us pictures to try and help us garner ideas, offered to incorporate any decorations we had into our cake, etc. Even still, we didn't do our due diligence since we were focused on other preparations and had a family emergency. Only 3 days before our wedding, I text the owner saying we weren't picky and he could do whatever he wanted with our cake......IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! The design was beautiful. My wife LOVED it and as the groom, that was my goal. You would think looking great was already enough but when we ate it, the flavor was delicious, the breading was soft and it wasn't "too much" of anything. Some guests, "including adults" came around for a second slice because it truly was THAT good. I'll add photos once we get them from the photographer but again, our wedding was just last night. I just wanted to help spread the word on this great bakery!!

I love House of Pastry. When my son wanted cake pops for his Mickey Mouse Birthday Party, they made these custom beautiful Mickey and Minnie cake pops!! They tasted amazing and all the guests were in awe of their cuteness!!! Just the best!!

We went all out with a Winnie the Pooh theme - it looked great, and the two layers (strawberry shortcake and nutella) were very tasty, not too sweet, and with a nice moist sponge cake interior. Price was quite reasonable compared to competitors. Definitely recommended, sort of an off-the-beaten-path Armenian option for a good birthday cake in LA.
