Always get the pad see ew because it's my favorite. Definitely recommend this place.

I've been eating here at least twice a month for the last year since I moved into the area. There's not much you need to know besides it's GOOD. Every time. Dishes taste the exact same EVERY TIME. Portions are large. Food is fresh. Orders made quickly. I usually walk there since it's right off of lankershim in the NoHo arts district. I have a lot of respect for the owners, this business is a well oiled machine.

This review is just based on the food because I ordered takeout- but the food was great! I ordered chicken pad Thai and chicken pad see ew, both were fresh and the noodles were nicely cooked on the pad see ew. Sometimes I've had pad see ew that has a smoky flavor, but not this! Not dry either, just great. Would recommend.

I would have given this place a 5 star. The service was quick and food tastes amazingly! I'm just disappointed that the portions are very small compared to other spots that I order Thai from. The one dish that was decently proportion was the pad se ew. Everything else was small. I was trying to feed a family of 4 with enough dishes ordered. Maybe it's different if you eat there but take out I feel they lessen the portions. I'll attach photos but don't get me wrong. Food tastes fantastic. But I'll only order if it's for two. It's kinda pricy too for the amount of food they serve. Either way grateful for it tasting great.

The Pad Thai was inedible! It had so much vinegar in it, it was horrible the worst Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Took three bites and had to throw it away. The spring rolls were ok. Delivery was neatly packed and on time. Other reviews were good. Not mine.

I lucked out again. Ordering for a crew of people is always a bit of a gamble. Jarin Thai's website looked and good reviews, so I figured to give it a try. Parked outside, stopped in a neighboring store just before and they said it is the best food in the area. That was good to hear before I picked everything up, so I walked in with confidence. The young lady that took our order was ready for me with everything very well packed for travel, lovingly itemized (some of the best handwriting I've ever seen on a receipt!), and 100% accurate. The logistician in me finds delight in these things, alone. But the eater in me is way more impressed by good food. And, man! Is this good food! 10 out of 10 from the crew (literally, all ten entrees were total thumbs up). I got the red curry with tofu and vegetables. It was awesome, and the kind of spicy that was painfully good. I am now an unabashed fan.

I came across this place in passing. I'm glad I did! I ordered the chicken wontons and broccoli with chicken and rice. The best Thai food I've had. Very flavorful and delicious! I can't wait to go back

Everything was fire Staff, food, beverages, and price were all very good I had to the Low carb phad Thai, chicken satay, and Thai tea. Warmly greeted by staff from the get food felt at home. Generous portions that would make a southerner blush. I enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed my experience. 10/10 recommended.
Excellent food and service. Had the crab and chicken wontons to start and they were perfect. Light and tasty, with the right amount of filing in each. Super flavorful without being overwhelming. For entree the yellow curry and pad see ew. Also excellent, plenty of flavor and good portion.

This establishment deserves "10" stars!!! This adorable hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant, will 110% become your new favorite Thai place if you give it a chance! Like no cap, their ground chicken Pad Kra Pao literally gives me life. I legitimately look forward to getting my Kra Pao fix every week hot damn. However, what really makes Jarin Thai outshine literally every other food establishment in a 60mile radius is the family that runs it. They are the sweetest and nicest people you'll ever meet which, in North Hollywood, is a breath of fresh air. They give nothing but THE BEST service. Honestly, ignore all the negative reviews about this place as they're written by either: 1) Karens that are mad about LA regulations regarding vaccine cards/masks 2) Idiots born without taste buds The word "Jarin" is defined as "is full of joy." This place could not be better named as that perfectly describes how I feel after eating here. Suffice to say, if you give this amazing place a chance, maybe you'll feel the same way too :)

Three years ago, I moved into an apartment down the street and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the chicken kra pao since it looked enticing on the menu (ground chicken, garlic, basil, chilies, and a deep fried egg - what's not to like?), and once I tasted it, I was immediately hooked. Ever since then, I've been coming every week (I call it Thai Thursday!), and I get so excited to visit Jarin Thai to get my chicken kra pow fix! I recommend ordering it spicy for that extra kick. Also - the portion sizes are beyond generous. I was shocked at how much food I received for the price I paid - at any other Thai restaurant, I would have received half as much for the same price! Any time friends or family come to visit North Hollywood, I always take them to Jarin Thai and everyone always raves about the food! On top of serving delicious food, the family that owns and runs the restaurant is extremely sweet. Kind, personable, and always timely! Over the years, I've become friends with the hostess (Jen) - she's the best (and also knows my order by heart lol)! I've never had an issue with parking - there's a parking lot right next to the restaurant, street parking out in front, and plenty of residential street parking only a short walk away as well. Thanks Jarin Thai for giving me something to look forward to every week and for being my go-to for whenever people want to visit North Hollywood! You've raised the bar high and make it tough for other Thai restaurants to compete with your quality and quantity of yummy food.

this place is gas, and has pretty good prices. the pad see ew is so good, prob one of my favorite meals to buy in noho. the service is good, i usually only get take out but they're really nice and the food comes out quick

Honestly, I've ordered twice from this place in the last nine years, and I only live about 800 feet away. After today I remember why I hadn't ordered from here since last time. The food is absolute garbage. The Tom Yum was pathetic, with no flavor, tasted overly tomatoey, with the basic store-bought mushrooms and not the fancy expensive delicate kind. The chicken in the soup was very chewy, flavorless and unpleasant. The duck curry was disgusting, with the duck being chewy and rubbery and gross, overall not fresh, and cooked to death. What a total waste. There is so much great Thai food in the city; don't spend a second thinking about this place. I literally wouldn't eat it if it was given to me for free. Today's meal went in the trash.
