I was excited to do the 28 day program and moreso that allergies and low carb were taken into consideration. How naive I was. I've had issues with almost every delivery. Food allergies have been ignored. I have received other peoples orders with someone else's food in them, on a totally different diet plan. The customer service is abysmal. Every week I'm told it has been fixed. Every week I am delivered food with the wrong items and ignoring the allergies. The issue is not taken seriously. It took four attempts to get a response. This company is going to end up killing someone.

Great food, unfortunately customer service is severely lacking. Charged $160 for 10 meals that were never delivered; when I reached out about this, nobody even responded to me nor refunded me for meals that never arrived. Great food only matters if it's delivered. There are many other great meals prep services in the area with better communication who notify you when your food arrives and respond if any issues arise.

I ordered the weekly lunch and dinner packet after seeing a great promotion. They delivered all of the week's meal on Sunday night... 20 meals (since we ordered for two people) in one single delivery order. All of them had an expiration date of Wednesday. It didn't make sense. They literally didn't give us any food that wasn't expired for Thursday/Friday. By Wednesday, some of the dishes felt old. the chicken in the salads felt slimy. While the Monday-Wednesday meals were labeled (Monday lunch, Monday dinner...), four meals weren't. It makes me feel like they knew they were giving food that would expire before the mealtime. We ended up throwing out the meals that expired. I really felt taken advantage of, and cannot recommend this service in good conscience.

I have been stressed so I ordered from klean la. The first week I did the 7 day kleanse. The second and third week I ordered 5 days of meals and 7 truffles. I made my own breakfast using their model (one day eggs, one day yogurt) and juice. I love the coconut truffles a lot, and found the plan easy to follow. I exercised almost everyday and was mostly full, and the celery juice helps you start the day hydrated. I found that making my own breakfast didnt give me the same results as having them make the meals for some reason. i think for me deviating from the plan opened the door to deviating further and further from the plan, and I think having a macro balanced breakfast is important for feeling full. The third week my meals came late, and by the time they arrived i had had breakfast and planned a work lunch. The 10 meals in my third delivery had a lot of repeats, like 3 of one meal, 3 of one meal, 2 of one meal, and 2 originals. This time they werent all labelled and some had low carb labels but the meals were macro balanced. The repeat meals and the labelling reduced the magical allure , that is why 4 stars and that is why I decided to try other companies. except for that, the meals were mostly delicious, i think there was only one that i didnt like out of so many. I was surprised that I could reheat something and it wouldnt taste dry because thats definitely not what I get when I cook for myself. Sometimes I wanted more flavor and I added mustard or hot sauce. I think delivering on Monday and Thursday is more efficient that delivering everyday, and it doesnt make a difference in freshness of food. I like that they do this. I think that I will be back to do the 28 day kleanse sometime soon.

What a great service! I've tried others but was always disappointed by the lack of taste, poor presentation, and not enough food. I randomly found Klean LA, and based on reviews, I tried it. Wow! So happy I did. The food presentation is great. The meals are packed well and look healthy and home cooked. Everything has tasted delicious. You get a good variety of foods and the portions are big enough to fill me up. The meals are also really easy to transport. So convenient. My husband and I are both using it. He is 6'5" tall and the macro balanced meals keep even him satisfied. Service great so far. We really, really like it. I'm spreading the word. This is a good one!

I couldn't be happier with my meal subscription from KleanLA. I signed up for the 28-day ignite program in anticipation of a difficult postpartum period, where meal preparation would likely be unrealistic. I ended up extending the program for another month, with plans to transition to their lunch/dinner program thereafter. The team (Liz in Client Relations in particular!) has been truly outstanding. They not only address any hiccups that may occur, albeit infrequent (e.g., related to food preferences or minor delivery issues), and they go above and beyond to rectify any problems. The KleanLA team has also been super accommodating with my new dietary restrictions, which unfortunately I discovered only *after* starting the program. Compared to ordering out, the price per meal is almost the same for us, but the quality and nutrition far surpasses any takeout. Granted, we don't order takeout for every single meal typically; but I figure this is a commitment to health not just postpartum, but hopefully in the future as well.

So I did a lot of research and ended up going with Klean LA. I am so glad that I did!! First of all -- the food is so good. I genuinely enjoy each and every meal. And they're filling too. I don't find myself getting hungry throughout the day like I thought I would. Secondly -- the customer service is excellent. Email seems to be the best way of contacting the company -- they were quick to reply to all of my inquiries and just as quick to resolve the one or two hiccups that occurred. Lastly -- I'd like to give a special thank you to Kiki, the Founder & CEO. She was kind enough to reply to most of my emails personally and is just such a lovely human being. If you're looking for a meal delivery service in LA, look no further. This is the one you want.

I very seldom write negative reviews, and even less frequently write scathing ones, but after giving Klean LA numerous efforts to improve, apologize, and correct its constant missteps, I feel it's appropriate now to post this. Things started out great, and I was really happy with Klean LA's weekly meal delivery service. The food was delicious, everything was clearly labelled (e.g., Tuesday lunch, Wednesday lunch), and we were saving immeasurable amounts of time shopping, finding recipes, and preparing meals. It was such a load off our busy schedules; my wife and I are both working professionals who lack the time and energy to do meal prep. And although Klean LA's service isn't *cheap*, we found it worthwhile. After just two deliveries, the problems began. They forgot entire deliveries. They sent only *half* the food. They put the wrong name on our order. The food started to become bland and samey, the veggies overcooked. They stopped putting labels on our meals. They delivered food to the wrong *building* at 3 in the morning! My neighbor, whom I'd never met, fortunately dropped it off for me the next day. Klean LA's response? We'll contact our drivers. Like a codependent sap, I continued to make excuses for Klean LA, longing for the days of yore when I got high quality meals on time. The next few orders arrived at 2:30 am and 5 am respectively, even though my delivery window was, and always has been, 7 am to noon. You read that correctly; I was woken up in the middle of the night on separate occasions. If you're going to be doing early morning deliveries, you need to be 100% certain you're getting the timing right. When I brought these problems to their attention---first through a rep and then with the (co)-owner of the company...silence. No response whatsoever to several emails. I can only understand this to mean that Klean LA's challenges are cultural rather than purely operational. There are plenty of other companies in this space, and customers deserve one that is responsive to their needs and cares about the customer's experience.

I can't say enough great things about Klean. The food is incredibly healthy and SO delicious. More importantly, the team is amazing. I emailed the support contact because I have food allergy issues, and they responded immediately and accommodated everything so that I could have meals that were safe to eat. They were so helpful and everything still tasted fantastic. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

I never write bad reviews but today I am compelled to do so. I purchased the 28 day IGNITE program which is supposed to be an uninterrupted 28 day supply of healthy food for cleansing and weight loss. Anyone who has ever done one of these programs (my first) knows that to get optimal results you have to stick to the program without any change. Unfortunately I had one issue after another for almost every delivery I received. The program is $1625 for the 28 days but I got the program with a 25% coupon discount which made it just over $1200. Still a lot but I thought I'd give it a try because I was referred by a friend and was initially impressed with what was said about the ignite program on their website. They refer to it as "their most transformative" They say that if you have any exclusions or allergies to shoot them an email and they will modify the food to fit your requirements. So, I emailed them that I don't eat beef or pork and that fish, chicken and turkey is fine. I also told them I can't eat anything spicy and lastly I told them to start the order mid february. The first problem was when they delivered the order a week before my set date. No one was in town (hence why we requested a specific start date). I asked that they pick up the food and they said they're not allowed to take food back so to give it away. The following week I got the new delivery only to find that they had sent beef and pork. So they said to give that away and they'd start the delivery 3 days later. Now it was 25th Feb and this was now the new (new) start date. When I received that order, again, there was beef and pork in that order along with chicken. I emailed them again saying they got the order wrong (again). The first set of excuses were based around their computer crashing. Then the following delivery there were no labels on most of the meals so I had no idea what was what. The next set of excuses were that their label maker had broken. In the following delivery I was missing items so I reached out again. Following that and when I got the correct labels on the meals that stated I had beef and pork exclusions, the other labels that described the food on the top cover, would say beef or pork so I had to call them only to have them explain to me to ignore what the labels said because I actually received chicken!!!! Are you getting frustrated yet?? It doesn't stop there unfortunately. One week I got all chicken except 1 turkey so I reached out to them and asked that they give me more fish than chicken and just balance out the chicken and turkey. They confirmed that they will give me more fish but that the only fish they provide is salmon and tuna, which was totally fine with me. With that I thought all the issues were over and the next couple of weeks everything would run smoothly. WRONG! I kept getting mostly chicken with maybe 1 salmon and one turkey or 1 turkey and one tuna and all the rest was chicken. Who likes to eat chicken for lunch and dinner almost every day? This program is supposed to be a balance of different proteins, not mostly one. I had 4 choices of protein, salmon, tuna, turkey and chicken which was more than enough but even when they confirmed that they would provide more fish than chicken, they continued to give me mostly chicken. At the beginning of the 4th week, they forgot to send my order completely!!!!!! I mean after the incessant emails back and forth, I would think they would make sure that they got my order right, but unfortunately I was too optimistic. They forgot it entirely. I had to go out to the grocery store and by food for the week because I had literally nothing in the house. By this time I was pretty annoyed and just wanted a refund. I felt that because I was purchasing a 28 day uninterrupted program and all I got was one interruption after another and had to buy food because I was sent beef and pork or so much chicken I couldn't bare to eat another chicken meal, that it was unacceptable to just get a refund on the week that they missed. #1 DO THIS CLEANSE #2 DO NOT even think twice about the cost of it, if you really do the math on what you spend on food (including your TIME shopping for it and preparing it) it's a STEAL. #3 I did the 28 day IGNITE and lost FIFTEEN POUNDS (and didn't up my activity) #4 Whomever makes their sauces/salad dressings is a flavor god #5 One of my favorite take away's from this was really knowing portion sizing as compared to calories in food. I was eating too much at each meal and this really helped me understand the right portioning. #6 If you're reading this it's your sign to DO. THIS. CLEANSE. Love this company from top to bottom and they round it all out with compostable containers (and I called waste management in LA and as long as you cut them up you can put them in your green bin!) Just do it, you'll never regret it. Thank you Klean!
