The ponchiks were delicious! Especially the raspberry filled but the only bad thing was that they did not have my order ready on time. They had to submit the order once I got there so i ended up having to wait a while. Very inconvenient when you're on your lunch break.

Freshly bakes when you order. Some things don't have the ingredients on the package so ask if you're concerned about what you eat. It's a little pricy, but the ponchiks are yummy. You just have to eat them warm since they're not that great when cold.

Let me tell you one thing. I don't go to this Bakery as often as I would like... for different reasons. However, this place can be hit or miss. I love ponchik soooo much, and that is about it. However, knowing that they are popular for their name, and their good, fresh, hot, yummy delicious, baking goods...sometimes I will get up and go to this location and the one in Hollywood. They are the closest ones to my home. I know they have 4 or 5 other locations. Reading and carefully observing the 1,and 2 star reviews next to the few 4and 5 star reviews, I must say that people are more negative in their lives and in their taste buds than they are positive. It is so easy to rip people apart with negative reviews and tear them apart than say one or two kind words about someones hard work that they put into whatever it may be!! People, if you can bake a better lahmajune, ponchik, perachki, cake, cheese roll or borek, then stay in front of your stove and bake all night long!! See how hard it is to do that. But don't underestimate the time, effort, skills, sweat and hard work these people put in to their jobs. Like I said, if you can do it better, then stay home cook, and bake and stop complaining. Be happy that you have something to eat and that you don't dig in to the trash cans like most homeless people do to find something to eat. ANYTHING!! I was there on July 31st of this year and as I walked in Liana was on the phone with someone, I waited for like 3 minutes for her to end her conversation and for her to attend on me. She was very nice, kind, pleasant and knew her job well. I bought $60.00 worth of food and actually sat down in their clean, cute, sweet, organized bakery and took my first bite of their delicious custard ponchik. I got 6 lahmajines, 2 potato perashkis, 5 cheese rolls, 3 regular cheese boreks 3 custard ponchiks, 1 nutella ponchik, 1 dulce de leche ponchik and 1 tan (yogurt drink). Everything was soooo good, fresh, hot that almost burned my tongue and just plain DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Should I say more??? I think you got the point. I will save my energy and words for my next visit. Hopefully soon:))) Keep up the good work and always be CONSISTENT!!! Thank you Papilloon Bakery ,and hard working staff!! Appreciated. I am NOT too fond of their parking lot, since it is too narrow and small, but it is what it is. I am NOT going to duck a star for that.
