I go with my wife to this lovely place often! This is my favorite spot to eat. I go to this spot frequently. The meals are excellent, the crew is polite and the price is good. I like meeting in this restaurant over a decent dinner.

I ordered 4 items, the total bill ended up being $86 that's one appetizer 2 entrees and a dessert. The food was okay, I expected better for the hype that this place receives. The service was good I just didn't feel like the price was justified by what I received the beefsteak with crispy fried potatoes on top was 3 out of 10.

This restaurant is surely one of the tastiest restaurants in the region. Anytime I visit this place I am profoundly glad. They manage their high standard service and the topmost level of food they offer. You are always happy with this place. Warmly recommended.

Told us wait is around 15minutes, 30 minutes later still not seated, we left. Poor service. Saw people there for over 20 minutes just talking, server should've informed them people are waiting for a table. I was not feeling ENTITLED. Just a potential customer, a lost customer.

The portions here are no joke. We ordered a small plate of Paan-cit Noodles and was told it should be enough for two people...so we thought. It can pretty much feed 3-4 ppl as the two of us only ate 1/4 of the plate. Also ordered a plate of fried veggies for appetizers but one of the veggie was extremely bitter more than a bitter melon. Overall a pretty good Filipino experience since we don't normally eat this cuisine that often.

A diamond in the rough. Amazing display of Filipino-Inspired dishes by a Filipino-Japanese couple. The flavors are alive and visually appealing to your senses. I'm looking forward to future visits to consume and enjoy the rest of the menu items. One of the local outstanding restaurants that will surprise you throughout the meal! This place deserves to be in mainstream LA restaurant districts elevating Filipino cuisine to high standards enjoyed by all. Keep up the great work JR and ChiHo!

After running some errands nearby, we found ourselves hungry. Tatang was in my bookmarks and the pictures looked great. I don't eat a lot of Filipino food, so I was pretty curious to see what it was all about. It did not disappoint. To eat, my friend and I split the small Paan-cit Noodles ($25), and the organic chicken lumpia ($12). Service was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This is a small, family-run business, which I love to support. Not only was the quantity extremely generous, but the quality was amazing. You can really tell that the ingredients are fresh and elevated, and the flavor of the dishes were well beyond expectations. The food was truly impressive. While this was only my first time here, I'm already planning a second trip. Between the friendly service, high quality ingredients, satisfying quantities, beautiful presentation, and delicious taste, Tatang has become an instant favorite. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant to all!

Awesome customer service and the food hits close to home!! Went here 3 times now and all the dishes never fail to amaze me. My favorites are kare kare, crispy pata, halo halo and pork belly. I live 45 mins away and i try to drive here whenever i can! A hidden gem. The chef and staff are always friendly and very pleasant to us. Located at a plaza so no worries with parking

We drove from Malibu just to try this place. They have Delicious food and great service :) we had beef ribs in banana bbq sauce, beef brisket bis tek, Mary’s chicken si sig, and small garlic rice! All of this was more than enough for two people as they serve their meals in a “family style” sort of way (we had lots of left overs). We also tried the halo halo desert. It had Ube Ice cream, which we had never tried before and loved! We ate outdoors and they made sure to sit us by the fire and placed a heating lamp right by us to ensure that we were comfortable. We placed our order ahead of time as they do make orders as they come and we were very hungry so we got to eat as soon as we sat down. They were also very accommodating in changing the time of our reservation. We will be back!

Family-run Filipino restaurant with hearty comfort food! We visited during COVID after they opened outdoor seating (located in a strip center so nothing fancy). We ordered one of the "family-style" meal package with a little bit of everything to share - chicken lumpia, crispy pork belly, beef brisket, garlic rice, grilled green beans & carrots and more! Everything was tasty, but a little bit too rich (a lot of fried items, wished there were more braised meat instead of deep fried). For drinks, try the calamansi Arnold palmer (a special type of citrus) - super refreshing and goes well with the heavier food! Oh and don't forget to try their Halo Halo dessert - my fav part of the meal! The owner was our server when we visited and he was super friendly & warm!

Terrible food, over priced as well, I won't be back! The Pancit is 'interestingly' bland in spite of having so many ingredients, I guess they've never heard of seasoning, not to mention the fact that it was soggy, about half way to soup consistency, is that a thing? If so, it shouldn't be! Strike One The Liempo was the worst I've ever had, it seems as if they used some D-Grade level meat and charged me for a large order when it looked like they only put enough for a small in there. Perhaps that is their portion size and it wouldn't have mattered because I threw over half of it away! Strike Two The Ube Fries were decent, rather, the sauce that comes with it, saved the dish, nothing much else to say here, they were mediocre but by far, the best dish of this terrible order. Foul ball, we are still in the game! The Ti-No-La was bland as well, was there even any chicken in it, maybe a scrap or two, I guess with the 'Rona going around they decided to skimp on ingredients in order to bend over their customers and pay the bills, it happens, I guess. Strike Three, I'm out! As I said, I won't ever go here again, this was easily the worse Filipino restaurant I have been to at this point in my life and the prices are crazy. The good thing is that in So Cal we have plenty of other options, one lousy place isn't going to sour me, I will be avenged the next time I chose to go Filipino for dinner.

I fell in love with the ube fries 10/10 recommend for some fried goodness. The garlic rice, beef brisket and pork belly were all tasty and appetizing but the meat was a little on the fatty side for me. I'll be trying the prawns and veggie dishes next! Thank you for the delicious meal. :)

Soooooo good! We didn't take any pics because we didn't want to waste time staging photos while looking at and smelling the deliciousness. Take it from this Filipino dude who knows his Filipino food: This is next-level Filipino cuisine, taking classics and modernizing them in the best way possible while faithfully harkening back to old memories of lola's arroz caldo or tito's adobo. Will we come back and try more things on the menu? Heck yes! Will we forget to take pics again? Probably!
