Whenever I'm in the area this is an absolute must go to restaurant for me. Everything is good, but the garlic fries are the best I've ever ever ever ever ever tasted. They are not soggy like most other garlic fries. They say crispy and they are absolutely flavorful. I definitely recommend them. I Really like ginger beer So that combination is a good one for me.
Love Burmese food but don't have time to sit down at Burma Superstar? Have no fear, Burma Bites is here! Featuring the same key menu items that pull me back to their restaurants, both in the east bay and SF, you can't go wrong with this food to go. Make sure to try the Tea Leaf Salad, it's *amazing*! Garlic fries are amazing. Fiery tofu was good too. Garlic noodles were soggy and gross, like overcooked spaghetti. Weird that they are completely different from Superstar's recipe even though they are supposedly the same brand/owners. Fried rice was pretty boring and bland, might as well just get a side of plain rice for 1/4 of the price.
