“I am not Vegan and these are so good!!! I picked these up for my boyfriend's family who are vegan. The apple fritter was definitely my favorite, but they are all yummy. The girl working was very patient and friendly when helping me choose which ones to get. She also threw in some extra donut holes! The cinnamon one everyone raves about was sold out when I went around 11am. I'll definitely be back to bring them to the next family gathering. 10/10!!“

“Fried flour dough, if fried in fresh oil by someone who knows what they are doing, is a culinary miracle. Because it is no longer flour and water and eggs and leavening and a little salt. The frying transforms pedestrian ingredients into DELIGHT. Come to Dick's Donuts for some miraculous comfort. And, although it is true that they only take cash, the doughnuts are FRESH and delicious. My co-workers agree with me on this. This doughnut shop is in a small strip mall on High Street across from Walgreen's, just as one gets off of 580 coming east. Going west there is that whole "High Street" exit thing happening, but once you get to High Street, turn left on High and go under 580 and voila, there you are, look for the small strip mall on the right. And because this is a little strip mall, usually you can park for free. And there is a taqueria next door. The lady behind the counter was SO NICE. I went in and said "all I have is $20" since it is cash only and I only had a 20 dollar bill in the cash division. And she filled up a BIG PINK BOX with like 10 doughnuts or maybe more, I was in too much of a hurry to count them. So now I am getting crackling sugar glaze everywhere at my desk as I scarf this down and review DICK'S DONUTS. And my co-workers are walking by my office saying "thank you!" Still prefer working from home, but if you have to be there, soften the blow with doughnuts.“
“I stopped by this morning around 10:50am, and it was just one other person inside when I got there, so my wait time was literally like a minute. I ordered the banh mi beef sandwich, Chai latte, and got two dozen of the mini doughnut balls. The sandwich was so delicious! It was spicy, too. You can get it without spicy just for your information. The Chai latte was super yummy! I got a small and wish I had gotten a large size. I'll definitely be visiting again sometime soon!“
“I've driven past this place for the last 3 months on my way to work. I haven't stopped in because I'm usually just about on-time to work.However I was craving donuts as made a conscious effort to leave a little early to try this place out, also I had heard that this place had gotten broken into and robbed. Not cool for mom and pop places.I got there and my go to in the donut arena is usually jelly filled donuts and french crullers though a lot of places don't make/have them. The staff are sweet and nice. You can tell the early risers had already been in and they are were restocking the donut window. It's not a fancy place, but like they say, location is everything. The jelly donuts were huge, so I opted for two raspberry filled, a regular twist and sugar donute. Last minute decided on 1/2 donut holes cuz they were enormous. Since it was my first time there and a lot of the co-workers go there, she apparently gave me some extra donut holes. The donuts were fresh and the jelly was a good amount.Will be back.“
“Colonial Donuts makes great donuts. I've had many opportunities to try out their donuts and each time I've been very satisfied with the wide availability of donut flavors. I'm a simply guy, so I really enjoy their basic glazed donut. This must be one of their most popular items because each time I've had it, its been incredibly fresh, which I attribute to them having to re-stock this particular item multiple times throughout the day. If you're like me and can't wait to get home to enjoy your donut, there's plenty of standing counters available where you can dine. “Wish I could put more than five stars!! Best glazed donut I have ever had - and the woman running the shop could not be more kind. It is not every day in Oakland that one comes across a business as inviting and people-forward as this one. It is the ONLY place I would go out of my way to visit purely for the spirit of their customer service.. luckily, the quality of the donuts measures up! Tip: in the morning the donuts are freshly made and so warm they practically melt in your mouth.. a heavenly experience ?“
“Donuts are definitely the best in town! Cute lil dog friendly place in the Laurel/Allendale district. There was an employee who gushed over my frenchie while we were there. Always friendly service. If you haven't had a cronut you will not regret the decision. My favorite is the salted caramel! This delicious box plus a latte for around $30 including a generous tip. I just love this place!“
