This is a local original Oakland pizzeria / beer bar. You can find long list of local and draft beers for sure accommodating all tastes. The beer list keeps updating with new beers. Beer lovers alert!Bar is more of beer / wine only.Plenty of space indie and outdoor. It's actually a very good place for outdoor seating with open area.I'd think not kids friendly, it's a great place for adult gathering, meet ups and even a cozy date.Not easy accessible at all. Steps and various surfaces involved.For food, pizza are wood oven baked and so delicious. Joey and classic are our favorite. Burgers are juicy and cook to order. Burrata plate is sooo refreshing and yummy. Best appetizer to share.Service is a bit choppy and waiter dependent. Overall good. Staff are friendly in general. It's per table QR code order.It's a great place all in all and will be back for pizza and burrata.Vegetarian options: Menu has vegetarian optionsParking: Find street parking sing the block
I've been in the process of packing. So I'm crazy tired. I was craving a burger to replenish.... The Zoug's on First burger was recommended and I must say it was D! Licious. The host staff was wonderful and friendly. Shout out to Cass(ie)(?), Nick and my awesomely beautiful and amazing daughter Camille. Peter served my drinks and Sam was my server. They all were amazing! Back to the burger.... It was so flavorful with the labneh, aioli and pickled onions. It's a must try. Now it's time to tuck in and rest with a happy belly.

The ambience here is excellent. The pizzas and appetizers were good. Althought not excellent in my view. Beer was good also. A bit pricy for what it was

I loved the outdoor seating; very picturesque. The chopped cheese sandwich I had had really good Bahn-mi like bread that was crunchy and soft at the same time. However, it did not taste like cheese but rather their mix of sauces which I did not care for. The layout was a little unconventional because it's not counter service but you order/pay through a QR code at your table and have to get your own water.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Ugh. My mouth is watering writing this review. Their delish creamy garlic sauce to dip the wood fire pizza in and wash it all down with a cold beer is to die for. Make sure to get a reservation at least for weekends because it can get busy. My only annoyance is you have to order and pay all by QR code it isn't normal wait service which can be annoying. Really cool brewery vibes with nice lights and a firepit outside. Looks to be dog friendly because I see people here with their doggies!

Wow, totally exceeded my expectations. Visited on a wed night, backyard was busy but didn't feel too crowded or loud. Overhead heaters are awesome! Best I've ever felt, I could be in a t-shirt on a cool evening. FOOD WAS BOMB! SERVICE SUPER FAST! We ordered a lot of food and it came out in like 10-15m max even being pretty full of people. Drinks even sooner. Prices pretty good for the bay, def felt like good value. Will def be back!
Food, service and the outside ambiance are all positive. Took a group of 9 there and everyone left happy.

Oh my goodness was my food delicious! My friends and I enjoyed the service received from your staff as this was our first time visiting. It definitely won't be our last! We definitely didn't expect the awesome ambiance we experienced as we were walking to find the location. Tucked away was an island paradise with a warm and friendly atmosphere inside and outside. We had a situation where 1 item was not brought out for over 30 min and it was just a sandwich. We inquired at least 3 times and finally it was brought out. The Manager was so apologetic and offered compensation which was very much appreciated! We will come back again? Of course we will! It just goes to show you that there's always a beautiful rainbow after the rain!

I really want to give Drake's five stars because I generally like going there. But, this is a review specifically about take-out ordering. I go often enough (close by to my house) to recognize a glaring difference in portion sizes between dining in and taking out. Beware if you order take-out, you're going to get a happy meal version or "inflation size" of a dish versus dining in. (I can't speak to the pizzas since I usually just get a couple sides). It's happened twice so I'm starting to feel like it's strategic. I LOVE their Brussels sprouts but why do I get more labneh than actual sprouts? How Sway?

Drakes is always my go to. They're spacious outdoor seating with all the fire pits are a must for me. It's my favorite place to sit. Recently I went and it began raining in the outdoor area so I retreated to indoors. I was happy and pleased by the indoor area too (I hardly sit there). There was even a fire place there. All of their beers are delicious and their food is so so so good, especially their pizza. Their service is great overall, some days better than others but I've always had a positive experience there.
